Chose to have lunch here because neighboring restaurants weren't open. What a mistake! We sat outside and were quickly brought menus and a basket of sliced (out of a bag) bread. The waitress came back to take our drink orders and also brought olives. We ordered a 0,0 alcohol beer and a sparkling water. I was hungry, so I ordered a hamburger (featured) and asked for it to be cooked "bien hecho."
In a reasonable amount of time, the hamburger was brought. It was nearly burnt on the outside and completely raw and cold on the inside. It had obviously been frozen. There was a piece of dried out cheese sitting on the bottom. Not very appetizing looking or tasting. Side of fried potatoes which accompanied the burger was ok.
We requested the check and we had been charged 1,30€ for the sliced bread we had neither requested nor touched. My boyfriend, in Spanish, asked why we were charged for the bread. The waitress responded that was part of the cover charge. Total sum 14,30€.
