We had a wonderful dinner tonight at La Pescaderia. I had the red tuna which was a generous portion, prepared perfectly and served with some green rice. My husband got the spaghetti with prawns and clams. Both were very fresh and flavorful. The service was a team of very friendly, efficient and attentive waiters. We were happy to find this restaurant open past 8pm and would highly recommend for those wanting delicious local seafood. I would definitely come back next time we are in Tarifa! read more

Solid seafood restaurant. Tried the spaghetti with clams and prawns, which was light, flavorful, perfectly salted, and had a good amount of seafood. It was a tad pricey at €17 but I felt most places in town were similar. Service was a tad slow because they seemed understaffed but they were friendly. The dessert wine on the house was a nice treat at the end. Also had a crema Catalana at the end which was good but could've had a nicer crisp. read more

All of the food was delicious! We were a group and we got the Couscous, seafood spaghetti, tuna tartar and sangrias. We shared & loved it all. The food came out quickly and the service was great. The blankets on the chairs really added to our experiences. read more

I was one day in Tarifa, did my research on the internet, reading other reviews on where to eat and I decided, since Tarifa is at the sea I'll go for fish/seafood. Read up reviews on La Pescaderia and I found the pictures quite appealing, so I decided to go here for either some paella/rice dish or some seafood stew, at the end I decided to go for the latter one and it was more than good. Awesome flavours matching up perfectly. Portionsize was nice as well and the service was friendly, too. Perfect restaurant if you want to go for some seafood! To top it of we got a drink on the house, which is always a lovely gesture! read more

The paella with the massive red prawns is crazy ! Pretty nice restaurant, well situated specially under a sunny day. Food is generously served and good. Paella, octopus, clams, tuna, many good choices, hard to choose, service was good but missing a bit of smile maybe, that's why I wasn't gonna give 5 stars, but with the digestive on the house, couldn't do differently. Cream Catalan was good, slightly too liquid but the warm caramelized sugar on top fit well, dulce de leche is pretty light and the yoghurt ice cream with pistachio was also a good choice to finish your meal. read more

Average at best. Complete tourist trap right along one of the main drags. Overpriced fish and rice stew had about 4 pieces of average quality tuna. Sauce base lacked and kind of flavor profile except salt. All you need to know is that it is the only restaurant in Spain during a two week trip that charges for bread (store bought and stale) and low quality green olives. 1.5 euro charged to your bill without asking if you want it. Apologize if this sounds harsh but it was the worst meal during my two weeks in Spain and we had already had great seafood in Galicia and wanted to try southern Spanish seafood. read more

What a HORRIBLE experience, service is so bad that it automatically drops the quality of food. I did not order a side of bread but it was brought to me only to find out I was charged for it! Never was I asked if I wanted it and when I made a comment AFTER already paying for it, the waiter got defensive and offensive. He not only RAISED his voice at me also tried to shove the menu on my face stating that its on it and somehow I didn't know how to read. I would not recommend this place unless you like bad service....there are tons of places to eat in Tarifa. This place is a tourist trap! read more
