Fantastic, upscale spot in the heart of Ibiza town. It's labeled as French, but I'd say it's both French and Spanish cuisine, with a French flair perhaps. My octopus starter is a signature dish and was tender, savory, and it was consumed too quick. Our other app, Iberian ham, was served on a massive pillow platter. It was top notch Spanish ham and as such, was delicate, tasty, aromatic and again, went down too quick. We shared a foie gras and duck paella which was served in a unique rectangular pan. One would thing this would be quite heavy to digest, but in fact, this was probably the lightest paella I've ever had. The rice was cooked perfectly, with the slightest resistance to your chew. The duck was sparingly placed throughout the dish. We paired with a wonderful Chablis and of course the mandatory warm bread.
Be sure and take a look upstairs as the decorating is fantastic. read more
