La Brasa de Ibiza. The bougainvillea lined front is definitely a plus and eye catching for this restaurant. Once you walk in, it's cooler from more bougainvillea covering the overhead and giving lots of shades. All the tables are set elegantly under the shades. The hostess will clean up the tables and chairs before you are sitting down. Glad we got there during early afternoon and able to get a seat right away. This was my 3rd time and 3rd trip to Ibiza. I always eat here lol... this place got good looking people etc just walking in and out. I got the steak, like 6 different paellas, expresso, and the olive garlic dip with the bread omg. When you're with French people we sat closer to the door because everyone needs to have a smoke break etc lol I bet you I will eat here again. read more

Located at the skirts of Castillo de Ibiza this fresh and cozy restaurant will mot disappoint. In my personal opinion food was GREAT! We ordered the Tuna Tartar, Ibiza Prawn bread and olives and Zucchini flowers with some Red Vermouth. Great food and ambiance. Would definitely come back again. !!!!! FOOD POISONING !!!!! It was horrible! But even more horrible after! I spent 20h of food poisoning in the hospital after having dinner in La Brasa, I think it's because of not fresh seafood! The stuff is so bad, thy don't take dirty plats from the table and make you keep fork and knife during your all courses without changing it. And it's May, it even the high season! They couldn't care less about the guests. We stayed in Ibiza for 10 days and every day except the one after foot poisoning, we were having dinners in different places and La Brasa was the worst, and even if forgot about food poisoning, the dinner itself was the worst. Atmosphere is great but food is okay, not mind blowing. Also portions are small. Recommend coming here for the ambiance though.

Alright ... just got out of that thing and don t know where to start. Never been treated like like that in 10 years in Ibiza. We all know that sometimes you pick up the wrong restaurant but this one is a true terrible experience. You get in there and yes the semi terrasse is very nice and welcoming. We got placed by obviously the owner. We painfully ordered to the smile less and so much bored waiter dressed as a beach walking salesman (and din t make me wrong, i got nothing against beach walking salesman at all) after 15mn 4 tapas. 2 of them came after 40mn patatas bravas dried out as hell obviously from them night before and a mackerel ceviche that is absolutely not a ceviche but 6 super thin slices of fish swimming in olive oil pepper and a tiny touch of lime. How the hell can they call that a Ceviche Ok I ve not been the nicest and gentlest person in the world when i ask for the rest of our tapas order after 50mn in total and surely because I m so sick and tired of those restaurants, fake fancy, with bored seasonal staff probably over exploited but come on din t put the blame on customers. Back to the experience.... when i asked the rest of my obviously so amazing tapas that it takes a while to cook, waiter start to give me explanations, that they are terribly busy (25 people seating here) and if I m in a hurry i should have say it when ordered and that is the traditional way to serve tapas and should for all of them at the same time 4 tapas 50mn ... and the guy decided to cancel the rest of our order and gave me the check mouhahahahahahaha .... started to talk about me in Spanish, thinking that I won t understand but oooops I do understand Spanish very well and Coños is not really something that customers should hear about them..... I mean I think so Well then .... ok .... after that said and done .... I went bananas and get to the owner, waiters(tress) and unfortunately the rest of customers what they deserve.... the truth in there face and customers was quit agree with me. So to make it short and with a balanced opinion after all. - Place is quit nice - Staff is not smiling and welcoming at all - please get dressed decently and not like in basketball training or a beach club - Delay between order and service is surely way to long heaven if your are in vacations - Food is not correct and basic and really too expensive for what it is - Menu at the doors only mentions the cheapest dishes that are in fact starters in small portions... just to make you feel like it is a pretty nice but decent prices place but believe me it s not - Just eat and shut up if you don t wanna have trouble with the staff cause there....that is the law. So guys .... get your shit together.... maybe pay your staff better... maybe ask them not to party too much and rest at night..... get a better kitchen turn over and a bit more realistic price menu Gracias ... Charming ambiance, very good food and although the service was slow (why they get a 4), the food was great! We will come back for sure.
