Don't hesitate! Come here! This is a Michelin rated restaurant that is opening another location in Madrid soon! The kitchen is fairly open so you can see what is going on with your food. They have a Ratatouille mouse stuffed animal on their shelf which I thought was very adorable. The blonde waitress (and I think part-owner) we had was super friendly, attentive and smiley. We tried the Caesar salad, croquettes (3 different flavors: suckling pig, Cauliflower and 1 other one I cannot remember) with 3 different dipping sauces, 2 chicken dishes (cannot recall the name), and a mango dessert (tiny, good for 1 person). We ate everything family-style though not every dish is easy to share (example: the mango dessert). This place is great for a special occasion or if you want to dine somewhere where you can get dressed up. Our favorite dish was, hands-down, the Caesar salad. I never expected to be impressed by a Caesar salad. It was prepared in a way we have never seen before. The salad was chopped but not mixed up, wrapped in cheese, and then flambeed with a torch with the dressing inside the cheese. All of their dishes are presented in a whimsical and unique way. The hot-dogs, which we didn't order, comes on a plastic blow-up balloon dog, the croquettes are served on a metal tree with different branches, some other dish is served on a 70s mini-van, etc. They gave us a complimentary licorice liquor shot at the end of our meal. They take online reservations. They were very accommodating when we had to edit our reservation to a later time. During our visit, there was a large business group there as well as a bachelorette party. Even so, the restaurant was never rowdy/super loud. The interior is very swanky, modern and soft in decor. This is one adventurous dining spot but don't be mistaken, the food is unbelievably delicious. Although you do need to have reservations, if you stop in on a whim, they MIGHT have a table available. We lucked out and scored a table on their first night open for the season. Our server was of the utmost help by guiding us through the menu and strongly suggesting certain dishes. We ordered a few drinks and some wine through out our dinner and I was in love with everything we got! Drinks were creative and the wine was a great quality. The food is on another level. I can finally understand why Spain is the gastronomy center the world ...or so I've been told. All the dishes were complex and had an explosion of flavor and were like works of art. Almost too pretty to eat. I can't even choose a favorite dish. Everything I ate was as good as the last and the next. I highly recommend eating here. Sa Brisa is a terrific little fusion tapas restaurant in the heart of Ibiza Town that is a great/friendly spot for anyone around the area. Food-wise, think of your traditional Spanish tapas dishes and then give them all an interesting spin. The chef here loves to play around with flavors, texture and expectations so there's a lot of interesting (and usually delicious) final dishes. This includes an amazing stuffed tomato with cream/crackers to a Chinese bun lamb slider to a very crazy looking egg/noodle dish. Even the dessert, a seemingly normal-sounding greek yogurt turns out to be an exquisite mix of yogurt/cream/fruit with flavors all packed throughout the plate. The final price is also fairly solid - coming out about 30 euros for an individual (about 4 tapas/dessert/drink). Sa Brisa is pretty easy to find when you hit Paseo de Vara de Rey (they have a middle section in the park as well as the main restaurant on the right side of the park) with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The decor is pretty; service is solid in both English/Spanish and had little complaints about the area which wasn't too bustling and fairly calm. If you love a little spin on the traditional tapas formula with some solid service and great flavors, Sa Brisa comes highly recommended! read more

I came here on a night off, to grab some solo dinner. I was not disappointed at all. I had a beautiful cocktail of rum and lime, which tragically I can't remember the name of, but there's a whole host of them that look amazing. I can't foresee any of them being bad. It's like a tapas restaurant of sorts. With the suggestion of three dishes being about right. I had a half plate of cold meats with tomato salsa. A tomato tartare with mozzarella balloon (!!) And shrimp quesadillas. Also two glasses of a reisling white wine. The tomato tartare deserves a solid mention. One of the most beautiful dishes I've had the honour to taste. Really fun restaurant. The food was great and the food presentation even better. We ate dinner very early for Ibiza standards (6:30pm), so there weren't many people in the restaurant. The service could have been better, especially since there weren't many people, but I'm from Manhattan and I have to adjust my standards when I'm abroad :) We had a good meal and a nice time. The food was visually amazing and very creatively plated, which we totally appreciated the fusion of ingredients and ideas. Some very new age techniques. The service was wonderful as well. The place serves tapas. So we ordered a bunch and shared. The plates were all visually wowing; however, very different than other Yelpers reviews, I didn't find them uberly wowing myself. To me it was a place to appreciate technique, fusion, and presentation, again very new age culinary methods. This is experiential eating. Not for the picky eater. Let your server guide you through some of the more creative options on the menu and you won't be disappointed. We did not have reservations, but they were able to seat us immediately at the bar. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere is very chic and modern unlike the rustic city surrounding it. We did not do the tasting menu since we were not that hungry, but it would be a great option for someone wanting to experience the menu without making a lot of decisions. This place is on a very picturesque street (one side) where there are many restaurants. The service was great and ambiance perfect. Unfortunately, the presentation of the food seemed to be more important than satisfying customers. The best example is the puffed up mozzarella and tomato dish. While it looks impressive on Instagram or yelp, the actual quantity of cheese is so small it competes with what two sticks of chewed gun would look like. The fish could be fine is the quantity of cheese was enough to complement the dish. Other items were generally so small that even though we had many fishes and spent a good sum we arrived at our hotel so hungry that we raided the local supermarket. This place was overrated in my opinion. We went for a nice dinner and were just underwhelmed by the lack of flavor of most of the dishes we ordered. The dishes seemed to be trying too hard to be inventive but fell short. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. After each round of tapas my friend and I kept commenting on how we couldn't believe this was considered Michelin starred. I'm being totally honest when I say that these are the best tapas I've had in my life. I'm not a huge fan of tapas but when I tried these gastronomic ones I was blown away. The attention to all details in terms of presentation, taste, and texture was meticulous. I saw they had a "recommended in the Michelin Guide 2015" and that just solidified my opinion of this gastro bar as they call themselves. It's really more of a stylish yet cozy restaurant. The prices are extremely affordable with many priced at 5 to 7 euros. In fact, the more affordable ones sometimes are tastier and larger than the expensive ones. I recommend the calamari tapas, falafel salad, huevos and quesadillas. Don't be fooled by the simple names; these are actually quite intricate dishes. read more

This gastropub was a pleasure to stumble upon on our way back down from Eivissa. The waiter explained how every dish was crafted and the unique elements of each plate. The ambiance is great but our meal was completely ruined by the service. Our waiter was so incredibly rude and treated us with such disrespect. He tried to charge us for 3 waters when we were only given one and had such an attitude when we asked him to change the bill. After that, he went from saying that we could pay separately to telling us we all had to pay together even though it was possible for us to pay separately. When we questioned that, he walked away angrily without saying anything and returned allowing us to pay separately. The food is fancy and artsy, but affordable. The place tries hard creating new ideas and putting new twist each season. I like going there for the ambient, drinks, shrimp quesadillas, ceviches, and love their version of lemon pie. The menu is tasty, no doubt. Also, the staff and owners are very kind and reasonable.
