Enchiladas Verdes
Dhruv S.

Me and some of my friends wanted to go get some Mexican food one of our friends recommended La Hacienda. We got there and the hostess sat us down. We waited I kid you not about 15 minutes, no one came, we had to get a waiter to remind them that we were here waiting for food and drinks. By the time he came around we had our order ready. The food did come out quick. The food was very mediocre.

Peach margarita.verde sauce for the tacos in the lower left corner (steak & beef).hottest hot sauce- very hot, just how I love it

It's cinco de mayo today. We were given a number & told the wait would be 40-55 mins. We went back in to ask how far along about 10-12 mins later. The person who gave the number said it's going to be a good little while bc u just got here. We when to the store & came back in 20 mins. Guy says he called us 30 mins ago. I questioned the guy giving out the numbers & he said "nobody told u to leave. Im guessing here." 10 mins vs 40 quotes mins." Math isn't mathing...We r now sitting & the waitress is good so far...Update. Appetizer came out after my partners entree about (appetizer =street corn- very good) 10 mins later-my entree came out 10 mins after the street corn came out which... yeah... may b very good service on a regular night but not tonight. Overall, the first entree was received about 855p. Appetizer around 910p(we had to ask about it). My entree around 920p. Food overall 7.5- waitress 8.5. Front door staff 4. Kitchen to table time 6.5. On a $75 tab- we would've bought more drinks but the host put a bad taste in my mouth. Waitress made it better & kitchen or runners kept the motion from the front of the house... I won't go back again but u may have a different experience

Today I was craving Mexican food so I decided to go to one of my favorite restaurants in the area. La Hacienda! The food is always delicious and the workers are always nice. I ordered the Enchiladas Rancheras and it was delicious! Be sure to come hungry as the portions are huge! The Enchiladas were perfectly cooked and the sauce was seasoned well without too much salt. The restaurant was well decorated and one could tell they had taken the time to create a nice experience. I one hundred percent recommend La Hacienda to anyone in the Greensboro who wants some delicious Mexican food!

Street tacos, with chicken, steak, and chorizo. A side of red and green hot sauce.

On my last visit to La Hacienda, I came in with my family and were greeted at the front by one of the servers who sat us quickly. Upon sitting in our booth, we noticed that booth upholstery appear to be pretty new as if it had been redone recently. The restaurant overall appeared pretty clean. Service was good. Their chips and salsa are really good because the chips come out warm and are light and crispy. I had street tacos in which I chose chicken, steak and chorizo, they were all good, my favorites being the steak and chorizo. The tacos were a pretty nice portion for the price you could almost split them in half and make two tacos out of each one. I requested a side of their. green and red sauce in which the green was hotter than the red, both flavorful. My son had the kids taco, rice and beans meal and he enjoyed it very much. I sipped it down with a medium size the Dos Equis Amber, which was a pretty large mug that came out ice cold. We have been satisfied with La Hacienda because recently because their food is always flavorful and service is consistently good.

I love Mexican food and I have several decent Mexican restaurants near my house. Over the years the pandemic has forced many restaurants to change their ways in order to stay afloat. Some have changed the salsa to be just a step above tomato sauce. Some have reduced the size of the portions. Not this place, they have stayed consistent with the food and the service. They are both fantastic. Tonight we celebrated a birthday and no matter how busy they are they still take the time to make you feel special. Cheers to another year La Hacienda.

My husband and I have eaten here a few times and it has been good every time! The service is good (and fast) and the restaurant is clean. We split the Enchiladas Super Rancheros, which was plenty of food for us both. The sauce was very flavorful, and not too salty like at some places. The salsa was also very flavorful and not spicy at all. We will certainly continue to come here for good food!!

Join us on Yelp in celebrating #ThankYouThursday 2022 by shouting out your go-to local spot! This #ThankYouThursday Yelp review goes out to that restaurant that is always there for us. The spot that my wife and I, when we just can't decide where to go for a meal and just want something reliably tasty, friendly, and efficient... we go to La Ha. Need a quick lunch while you're out shopping in the Wendover area? La Ha. How about friendly service and remarkably consistent food? La Ha. Hours that make you never have to worry about showing up when they're closed? La Ha. For those days when for the love of god you just want to inhale some perfectly crispy chips and robust salsa... La Ha. Everyone needs their go to Mexican restaurant, and La Ha is ours. While I have surely trekked many times up and down the menu over time, as this place has been here 25 years (maybe more) my favorites are always the Burrito Loco, Fajita Quesadilla, a pick 3 combination that must include a chile poblano and a tamale, the enchiladas supremas, and of course fajitas Texanas. One under-rated thing about La Ha... maybe also some of the best tea in the area. I always get a half and half mix, and somehow, theirs is always just right. Sweet enough to not be bitter, lots of deep tea flavor. So all this considered, while it may not completely blow you away, I have to upgrade this reliable stand-by to a 5 star rating. It is extremely difficult, especially these days, to be a place where every time you show up you know exactly what to expect in taste, quality, timeliness, friendliness, and cost. La Hacienda delivers.

Mexican Guacamole Paisa

My husband and I ate here on Black Friday with 2 of our grandchildren after some shopping. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and seated right away. They were extremely busy but our drink order was taken almost as soon as we sat down. My husband ordered the Arroz con Mariscos which he said was delicious. My grandchildren got the typical quesadilla and I had beef tacos. We also ordered the Mexican Guacamole Paisa as well as the Amigo dip. They were both delicious and one of my grands loved the Amigo dip! I should mention she's my picky eater. I counted off 1 star because the restaurant itself needs some updating, especially the bathrooms. The entry needs to be updated as well because as we were leaving it was so crowded that nobody knew who was in line to pay and who was in line to eat. Overall it was a good experience and we would recommend!

Wow this was our first time eating Herr! What a efficient resturant. They are super fast and friendly! The was was really good. We ordered whole fish course have used more seasoning but overall 8/10. The Steak & chicken pazella was great. Amigo dip was tasty!

Combination taco and enchilada with rice & beans

We stopped here during a road trip. It was A-ok and tasted like most Mexican places. I had a combination plate with an enchilada, taco, rice & beans. It was a pretty good price to feed a family in the go.

True to its namesake, there are brightly colored folk art designs throughout the restaurant in line with their Mexican heritage. The trees that make it look overgrown from the outside actually serve to allow sunlight while masking the surrounding city, facilitating the transformation that makes you feel like you're in Mexico City. We came at an off-peak time in the afternoon and it was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. I was pleased to see some unique menu offerings like Birra Ramen and Sopes that deviate from the standard American-friendly fare in most places. Drinks were good - we had a regular house margarita, a triple berry margarita, and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. All were tasty and I would order again. I tried to order a Mezcalita, since it's not often I see a Mezcal option, but they were out of that particular liquor. We tried to get street corn as an appetizer, which they were also out of. We got cheese and salsa with chips instead. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa generous with the cilantro, and the cheese bold and warm. For entrees we had the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Birra Ramen. The quesadilla was good, though the beans on the side were pretty bland. The ramen was a unique and very tasty option, and I was not able to finish such a generous portion. I think I'd leave the cheese out next time since it made some weird textures, but the flavor was great overall. Overall, there are some small things to improve (having menu items in stock, bland beans) and the prices were a bit high, but we had a great experience overall. I'm not often in the area, but I'll certainly eat here again if I am!

The name Bandito Bodega is extremely accurate, as the store itself is a small and unassuming looking place, with a charmingly decorated interior and some indoor and outdoor seating. It was very convenient to order at the cash register as soon as you walk in, and the staff was very patient and efficient. I adored the unpretentiousness and individuality of the place. It did not need any flashiness or grandeur- just some good food and good vibes. Now the food: WOW I was blown away by the pork belly garlic fried rice. The pork belly was so incredibly fatty and perfectly crispy, the shrimp add-on was juicy and well seasoned, and the fried egg over a bed of DELICIOUS steamy garlicky fried rice was absolutely perfection. And they do NOT skimp on the portions. This heaping bowl was just $15, and it was generously topped with the pork belly. This will easily be a place I plan to frequent often, for the convenience, food, and charm.

The same young lady from the phone warmly greeted me and checked me out. As I was finishing the prompts on the screen, she came around to bag up my order. She took care to place napkins, chopsticks, and a fork in the bag and to hand it to me directly. Overall, it was a great experience in service. The ambiance is casual and relaxed, typical of any fast-casual restaurant. At my earliest opportunity, I opened the box, which was stuffed full of pork belly, garlic noodles, broccoli, and scallions. The noodles had just the right amount of sauce, and the pork belly was perfectly cooked. The portion was so large that I ate some for lunch and finished the rest for dinner, and didn't need anything else either time. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to returning.

It's a food truck located in Petra's parking lot and open hella late, which is a WIN! I ordered 4 Quesa birria tacos, Birria ramen and something that looked like a mini quesadilla, I'm unsure of the name. The ramen was very flavorful although it felt like something was missing compared to Cali but overall very delicious! The only thing I didn't appreciate was the price. The cup was tiny and priced at $11. There wasn't enough room for additional consommé (juice) in the cup. I honestly think the cup could be a little larger for $11 or add more meat. My friend says the Quesa Birrias ($17) were good but they still prefer La Costenita's. Personally I don't like La Costenita's, because the meat and taco shells are extremely dry. But that's why we're all entitled to our opinions and preferences. :) The item that looked like a quesadilla was really tasty and only $7! It reminded me of a taco sandwich lol. The lady that took my order could of been a bit friendlier but I understand most people in NC aren't friendly at all. She insisted I add cheese after repeatedly explaining I do not like cheese and advised to dip my taco sandwich in the ramen but there wasn't enough juice in my ramen cup to even attempt that. Overall the meal was delicious, I've tried many places and this is at the top of my list. I would return when I'm craving something authentic but the pricing needs to be adjusted for what you get. Give it a try and tell me what you think!
