I have been looking forward to the World Ninja Championships so that I can eat here again and the team did not disappoint. I had the special, chilaquiles supreme and YES! Flank steak butterflied and so tender that I cut through it easily with a butter knife. They make the chips fresh for each order of chilaquiles and you can taste it. Generous amounts of every flavor that went into the meal and I left stuffed! Hands down, my favorite place and I have a feeling we are making a second trip here this year for sure! First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don't even like mole sauce, but I couldn't stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninia finals rome to town

I don't think I've seen a larger burrito from a sit-down restaurant. All of the fillings of the burrito were cooked very well, and the seasonings were on point. I don't know why I tried to eat all of it in one sitting, but I did and surprisingly didn't live to regret it. This place is great for parties of 1, 10, or more. I love Mexican food, and Kiosco hits the spot.

Came in to get Togo food my coworker ordered. She ordered our food at the same time but under separate names because we would be paying separately. When I walked in I let them know I had TWO orders one under Nicole and one under Bella. I know my coworker had gotten something vegetarian so when he read the order back I explained I wasn't sure all she got but she had the order with the vegetarian option on it and I had the other one. They run my coworkers card and it's all good till I again explain my order was with the steak burrito, turns out the person cashing out my order wasn't told to split the check so my coworker just paid for all the food. Mistakes happen it's cool just refund the card and split it and I'll get on with my life.... o wait the manger isn't there so no one in the building can help me. They call the manger and let me know that I have to wait the "7 min" it will take him to get to the store to fix the issue. When he arrives he splits the check and cashes me out, not that my time is important, but other than a quick sorry was all I got for my waisted time. So thanks for the big fuck your for my business. I waited calmly and collected didn't make a scene, like most people on high point road do, and that's how I get treated. Not to mention the manger couldn't even let me put my credit cards in my wallet and walk away from the counter before he started to cash out the order of the man behind me, guess his time seemed important. Staff are friendly. Tables are clean and appropriately spaced out, music is the perfect volume. No complaints.

As we had already driven there, we decided to just eat inside and ask to be sat far away from other guests. They were accommodating and sat us in the now big bar area (where patio was). Tables were blocked off for social distancing, hand sanitizer stations set up, and the staff were wearing masks. This made me feel better about eating inside. The remodel does look very nice, the exterior was cleaned up, everything is repainted inside, the tables upholstery has been replaced, added big screen TV's, and more. I did notice when looking at the menu that prices have increased slightly (I go to San Luis a lot). I decided to order my go-to when I am trying to be healthy which is the Brochetas (two skewers charbroiled with shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, onions, and zucchini). Typically, it is covered in a BBQ type sauce, but I asked for that on the side. I also substituted the rice for beans (they actually do offer black beans at this location, which makes me happy). The dish also comes with guacamole salad. This is a huge, delicious, and visually striking plate of food. So many bright colors, it makes you wanna dig in. I always get at least two meals out of this dish. I still get my craving for Mexican cuisine satisfied without breaking my diet. My husband got the Enchiladas Rancheras (three cheese enchiladas topped with tender pork tips, cooked tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and enchilada sauce). You get a choice of rice and beans or guacamole salad. This is the dish I typically get when I am not being healthy. It has a LOT of cheese, which isn't a bad thing depending on what you are going for. It is a very filling and decadent dish. The stewed vegetables mixed with the pork and cheese is just incredible. It all just works so well together. I convinced my brother to order this dish as well and he was not disappointed. Another common order of mine is their fajitas. My sister in law got the Chicken and Steak fajitas. It is always a huge portion that arrive sizzling on a skillet. Sometimes I find the meat is less flavorful then other times, but overall solid. You also get a plate full of rice, beans, source cream, and guacamole salad. Service here is solid, drinks stayed full and they will give you chips and salsa until you make them stop. I am happy to recommend San Luis 2 if you are more on this side of Greensboro. The remodel makes it even more appealing, but I will miss the patio!

Stopped by Taco Mama in between clients for a lunch to go and I love all the options. At first, it…read morewas overwhelming but I asked about how they prepare the nachos and when they said the chips were separate, I knew I had to get them. The waitress was super nice and patient. The restaurant was not super packed so my order didn't take too long. When I got to my office, the bag that I assumed was chips was just queso. So I was not given chips. Initially, I thought chips must've been sold separately but I confirmed on my ticket that chips should've been on the side so I gave them a quick call. I spoke to Alan who was able to pull up my order and apologized and his resolve for my inconvenience was pretty amazing. Since my break room had an alternative for chips, I was still able to eat. The chorizo was so good and it had a little heat to it which paired nicely with the queso, guacamole and cilantro lime rice that I got. Lastly, the portion size is enough for 2 meals possibly 3 if I don't share.
