Here everything was hot and fresh and flavorful. First off, get the Zucca chips. I could literally eat a whole basketful. I need to figure out what slicer and oil they use because I can never get mine this thin and crispy. We then Arugula and Avocado salad, which was light and refreshing. Then onto the Cacio e Pepe Arancini. Cacio e Pepe is my favorite pasta, so I was a little disappointed they don't have it on the menu as a dish itself, but the arancini was delicious! For mains, my husband had the salmon. We ordered it medium and it came more well done, however, it was perfectly crispy on the outside and still moist in the center. Very tasty. I had the ricotta cavatelli, which might be the best pasta I've ever had. The shrimp were so plump and fresh. There was plenty of crab throughout. And the flavor had the perfect amount of salt and spice. My husband, who isn't a pasta person loved it too. It's a nice open space and service was friendly. We will definitely return to try more things.

As for what I had: Zucca chips: 3/5 what I received was much different from everyone else's pictures. My chips were much smaller and mostly pieces of chips. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch? The flavor was good, but because they were small and folded in on themselves, they held a lot of the oil. The oil did taste fresh though. Eggplant parm (small plate): 3/5 most cheese and very little eggplant. The flavor was good. My waitress told me it came with noodles but then no noodles came out. I know this place is popular and everyone seems to like it. I would try it one more time just to see if maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but overall I didn't think it was worth the money.

My food choices were the pizza Terzo Cerchio, and to take home, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna bolognese (see note below on take out choices). I would rate this pizza highly. The person making them, obviously not Italian, but well trained, resulting in a quality pizza. The Roman variant, pinsa, also available. Introduction of rice flour and soy flour with the wheat flour resulting in a more digestible dough. Many entree specials not seen elsewhere. Service, great. Ambiance, great. Based on my experience with the lasagna and the eggplant, I cannot recommend these as take out items that one would refrigerate and have a day or so later. Neither held up to second day consumption and were thrown out. These dishes should be considered for consumption at the restaurant, straight out of the kitchen while still hot. Melanzane parmigiana is not a dish from Parma. It is southern and a toss up on originating in Napoli, Calabria or Sicilia. The name likely derives from the Sicilian word parmiciana, referring to the wooden slats of shutters, mirroring the layered structure of the eggplant. But there are other theories.

The interior is small but quite long; you order up front and pay first and then sit down at a table and get brought your food out when it is ready. We tried some flatbreads, pizza's, and a clam pasta. Overall the flatbreads and their toppings were okay / good, the pizza was good but slightly lacking texture and crisp on the crust. The toppings were slightly lackluster on the pizza's and all three of the pizza's we ordered were decent but didn't exceed the group's expectations in terms of taste and texture of the crust. The clam pasta was also decent; the pasta was al dente and there were quite a few clams there but the flavor was a bit light. Overall we tried a variety of items on their menu and everything was good but the pizza was not spectacular.

This is not a place to eat pasta, it is a place to buy pasta you can prepare at home. It is located in a small and nondescript retail strip center on Campbell Road just north of I-10. Inside this tiny little shop you will find a place to get a cup of Italian Coffee and some pastries. You will also find some outstanding and very authentic Italian sandwiches. They generally have three or four to chose from for lunch. Seating is limited to a table or two inside and a table or two out front. (Yes it is that small.) Taking pride of place is the pasta kitchen, where the fresh pasta and sauces are made. Casetta is owned and run by a husband and wife team. The husband is from Italy and brings his passion for food with him. The available pastas, sauces and sausages are on display in two large refrigerators. Generally, I stop by for a sandwich and get some of the pasta and sauces for later in the week. There about 10 pastas and ravioli to chose from. Since Italians have very firm opinions on what sauces go with each pasta I always ask! For example I select a pasta or two.....then let them select the sauce to go with it. Give it a try. I don't think that you will be disappointed.

They have fresh authentic Italian Ingredients! They have frozen Italian delicacy's you can buy like pastas, Mac n cheese, sauces, Italian sausages and more. They also make their own Italian pasta in house! They have a small coffee section, bread section and authentic Italian imported drink section. I opted in for their fresh sandwiches on focaccia bread I got the prosciutto sandwich and my wife got the caprese. My sandwich consisted of fresh arugula, (I forgot the cheese), prosciutto, balsamic vinaigrette on focaccia bread. The sandwich simply took me back to my time in Florence! Served with spaghetti with marina sauce and grilled veggies, it is a very hearty Italian meal. I forgot how generous their portions have been. Took half home for the lunch the next day. Added a salad for $2.95. Love their vinaigrette dressing which I get on the side. Nice place for a get together with our Girl Scout parent supper club. Let's see where we land next quarter.

The fresh red pepper offered at the table really kicked the flavor up a notch. Beet salad (8/10)- nice presentation. Red beets tasted really fresh & clean (not earthy) and the beets were thick enough to actually taste them! Balsamic dressing is very tasty. The fried cheese, tomatoes & candied pecans are a great complement to the beets and greens. Add the fresh cracked black pepper offered by the server. Seafood lasagna (8/10) - the seafood is not lacking! Its very seafood-forward. Salmon, shrimp, clams. You definitely know you are eating seafood. The cheese/seafood/pasta/sauce ratio is spot on, well balanced. It felt more like a seafood dish than a lasagna/pasta dish. My only complaint (and it's not really a negative) is I was in the mood for lasagna & after eating this dish, although it was very good, I still had a hankering for lasagna. Other: - Service in general was good. It was a slow day during my Sunday afternoon visit. - Bathrooms were well kept & had cool big mirrors in the hallway upon exiting the bathroom. - Parking in the attached garage is free. I would return again.

I was meeting a former colleague for lunch and he recommended this place. He'd apparently had many meetings here before, and I can see why. Service was absolutely top notch, and the meal itself was amazing. For being in the bustling Galleria area, this location is a bit tucked away, creating a more quiet and intimate atmosphere despite a relatively small dining room. Of course, that may have just been the case since it was lunch time and the restaurant wasn't busy. I skimmed the lunch specials and went with the pork chop, which was accompanied by broccoli and mashed potatoes, as well as a salad. The Ceasar salad was good, but forgettable. I've had better at several other places, including one of Carrabba's other locations. The pork chop was perfectly grilled, and despite just being one ~8oz piece, was the right amount of filling with the sides that I went back to work feeling full but not so much that I felt lethargic. I'm looking forward to coming back here, specifically to bring my wife for a date.

I love that they use mostly organic ingredients and everything is always very fresh. Also really appreciate their giant board of ingredients and where they're sourced from, always fun to read. My only complaint is that if I'm really hungry, one bowl doesn't fill me up all the way. I usually end up snacking on some fruits at home, not a biggie. Nowadays, I usually order on the app for pick up, and sometimes we'll still dine in. The reason is they've run out of roasted mushrooms a few times when I order in the store, so everyone else's food is ready while I'm still waiting for my roasted mushrooms in the shroomami store. Not fun, so ordering online I know for sure I don't need to wait for my roasted mushrooms! Now that they've become seed-oil free, my husband and I are even bigger fans. Highly recommend sweetgreen for healthy, clean food!
