So, I must have past this place many-a-time as it is out the way but not so much. Nice place, full…read moreof random memorabilia from around the place and all with a nice layer of dust, very small... loses points for not doing pints only halves... and the biggest travesty is the fact they had no Guinness, not even in a bottle. Now, for such a small place, it had no right to have a maze that meant you'd end up leaving the place, there was two corridors that led to the same place and yet, if there were more than 7 people in there it would have been a very busy night. But i did enjoy being in there, good conversation and there was great entertainment at the time.

It reminds me of Irish pubs with tons of bits and piece on the ceiling and the walls. I ventured in there with a gang from college recently for some wine and to check out the atmosphere. Its deliciously friendly and i've discovered also open for breakfast. Normally i would shy away from places that wax both ends of the day, because they smell bad or generally have a mixed clientele. But this place is lovely. The wine is reasonable and they have a nice collection of spirits and beer as well to cater for all that you might fancy...

When we walked it, it was quite busy as a huge party was occupying a table across from us. A few other guest always dining as well. Not a big place but still very intimate and quite nice. Bar available but not sure if it's full bar. We did have a couple bottles of wine with dinner. Menu, straight to the point. Tapas and more tapas. As there was couple of us, we all chose three dishes to share. Each all looked amazing. The prawns, chorizo, mussels, meatballs, hummus, sun dried tomatoes salad, mushrooms, fried halloumi sticks, the skewers, pate, avocado toast, and croquettes. Everything was really good apart from it being slightly different from the states. The only downside, the skewer were a bit dry but presented beautifully. Everything was quite tasty and plenty to share for what we've ordered. Mussels were quite tasty in the sauce, chorizo was really good. Pate was more of sliced meat versus a spread. Service was great, staff was really friendly and chatty which was great. They ended the night for us with a little cocktail shot which was quite nice. Overall, amazing service, food was great, atmosphere was nice and friendly. Will definitely return.

Small, friendly, a nice location just off the main shopping area, reasonably priced and generous portions. The food was delicious and worth venturing over for whether you are local or not! We had crisp halloumi, spiced aubergine with minced lamb, chilli peppered squid, pork belly and chips, a lovely crisp Pinot Grigio (my friend's a white drinker) and a couple of liqueur coffees. All this for £30 a head including a tip. The staff were efficient, attentive and charming. Young and energised, I loved the way all the front of house staff presented one table with a birthday dessert and sang with evident delight to the guest. We were made to feel very welcome despite booking a late table and the arrival of a large party of blokes who'd evidently been out for a Christmas get together added to the very European feel of this little gem. We'll be back

We ordered asparagus with butter and fried fish with spinach and tartar sauce. The ingredients were fresh but nothing too special. The pasta is AMAZING!! I got the tagliatelle with lamb ragu. The lamb is so soft it melts in your mouth and the pasta sauce is spot on. My friend ordered spaghetti with Mediterranean seafood. She said it was really good as well but the clams weren't cleaned well since she could still taste the grit. Other than that I would say it is one of the best pasta places I've been to. The ambiance is classy & noisy. No need to dress up or anything. Most of the customers seems to be regulars around the area. Definitely £££ so it's a bit pricy!!

The decor was great as well, clean and crisp with the piano music adding to the vibe. For my main, I had the tagliatelle with scampi, artichoke and tomato. The dish, though beautifully presented, I felt lacked a bit of flavour- think it needed a hit of citrus or some pepper? Dessert was very tasty, though not the best creme brûlée I've had- taste was there but my sugar crust was not so crunchy in places, could have used a few more minutes under the grill. Our wine was superb! Great selection in a range of price points. 4 stars for great service, ambiance, and a lovely meal with fantastic wine!
