This bar is a pretty sweet find that is off the beaten path, near metro campo formio (think Place d'Italie neighborhood) in the 13th - not exactly where most people expect to go out.
What is great about this bar is the happy hour (cheap prices) and most importantly, the selection of beers on tap. Here, you're not going to be stuck with Stella or Heineken. There are several legitimately delicious beers on tap (which rotate), which could include barbar, seasonal beers (Xmas beer, etc), grim, cuvée des trolls, etc. - stuff that has flavor and that you are going to want to drop a few euros to drink.
The one downside to this bar for me (but which may very well be a plus for others) is that the crowd tends to be quite young. This is a student bar, which I could see as being THE place to be when you're a student. However, I'm part of the 30+ crowd now so I'm not always in the mood for a crowded student bar. That being said, I still come back here because I love it. The bartenders are friendly, the drinks are cheap and you have selection, and also you are very conveniently located if you want to grab fresh handmade (before your eyes) dumplings at aux délices de shandong or its sister restaurant a few meters away on the same street au pays de Confucius. Perfect way to spend your evening.
Keep in mind this place can get crowded on a Friday or Saturday night , so don't necessarily expect seating unless you get here very early. As it does get really crowded, it can also get pretty hot and sweaty in there (so maybe don't come wearing 5 wool sweaters unless you can remove some layers or roll your sleeves up).
Also, keep in mind It's not really a bar with a dance floor so maybe if you're looking to go dancing you might wanna head elsewhere (or just make it a beer and dumplings kinda night ;) read more
