This was the first Mexican restaurant we tried when we moved here over a year ago. It was great but something is definitely wrong now. On our visit a month ago, the service was awful, and the food was definitely off. Last night we thought we'd give it one more try...it was a disaster. It was early and there were only a few tables taken. Since the menu doesn't tell you what beer is on tap, I asked her...she couldn't answer me. The only red wine on the menu is Burgundy which my wife has had before. She didn't seem to know what that was, and I showed it to her on the menu. My beer came and she said the wine would be out shortly. Meanwhile, a table across from us was sending their food back and another table was asking where their little girl's tacos were. After being ignored for another 15 minutes, another server came to the table and said they didn't have any red wine...we gave up and walked out. Stopped in on a Wed around 5pm. Quickly seated and ordered.. I got the steak and chicken fajita. Brought out very quickly and was super hot. Plenty of steak and chicken. Only reason not getting 5 stars is I wish the meat had some more flavoring. It was cooked just right and was tender. read more

We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm on a Saturday night the restaurant was about half full. We were promptly seated. Our server took a few minutes to greet us which is fine. When she approached the table there wasn't a friendly greeting just an immediate question... "What do you want" It was our first time there so my wife asked about the 1/2 off margaritas which seemed to annoy her. Her voice was very horse (if she was sick she had no business working) and again tried to get our order ASAP. We ordered as quickly as we could and waited for our drinks. Drinks took around 17 minutes (we were annoyed so we checked our watches). She did walk by several times looking at our table but refused to make eye contact. Entrees hit the table around 8pm. 45min - 50min entrees are unacceptable. No check back. We flagged down another server to get our server because we ordered corn tortillas but received flour and our rice was cold. She finally makes to our table and replaced the flour tortillas with corn. The rice was just as cold (I'm assuming it was the same setup). The food was good but not worth all the hassle of dealing with her incompetence. I wish I could give you her name but she never introduced herself. They have a pager at the table but it doesn't seem to work (we pressed it 7 times) trying to get our bill! Maybe we should've thrown it at her? Once the bill arrives she of course charged us full price for my wife's Margarita. When we asked her about it, she was unapologetic and said just take it up front and they can fix it for you. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the food was solid and our friends go to church with the owner. They speak very highly of him and I don't want to hurt his yelp ratings. We've eaten at this place twice. The first time we we got fajitas which was mostly grilled vegetables, very little meat. The second time we went there the waiter was not very welcoming and the food was barely warm. Unfortunately we won't be going back. read more

We went to this place after seeing the reviews on Yelp. My wife had a combo plate and I had beef fajitas. Neither had any flavor. The cheese queso also was bland. Extremely Americanized. Was really disappointed in the menu and the quality of what I ordered. Tacos had gross, cold, prepackaged tortillas, meat was greasy and I asked for spicy salsa which had practically no spice. Most things on the menu are just covered in cheese sauce. My husband got a Chile relleno that was stuffed with cheese sauce instead of real cheese. Went to lunch with hubby i was intrigued by the decor from the get go. They were quick to seat us and had chips and salsa instantly. The young waitress was polite although had to ask what beers were on draft. After ordering our food came quickly and was presented as described on the menu. The waitress stopped several times to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Overall good service and good food will definitely go back. read more

We stopped in for lunch and were surprised by how authentic the decor seemed to be. The salsa was great but the chips were just the standard thick bagged corn chips. I and my wife had the unsweetened tea which had hardly any flavor. I got the steak fajitas and our daughter got the chicken nuggets. I am not going back to this place because I didn't like the flavor at all of the fajitas, or the oily mess that was all over them, and the tenders were never eaten past one by the little one. She didn't like something about them and I never tasted them to find out what it was. We tipped a normal tip of 20% because it isn't the waiters fault. When I called to order my food I had to repeat several times as the gentleman seemed distracted. 10m later I arrived to pick up my order. The 3 el pastor tacos were thrown in the ti. Foil with corn tortillas and fillings. Then I was missing a steak fajita taco. Instead there was a steak fajita taco salad. The guy thought I ordered wrong and I repeated that I wanted 4 tacos, side of rice, steak nachos with guacamole, queso chips and salsa. In the bag was a messy looking nachos order that looked like they just threw everything in the pan. The rice and beans that are normally on the nachos were on the side. When I get home the el pastor meat was old and greasy, the steak fajita taco had lettuce and cheese. When we called to bring back the stuff and get a refund we were told a manger would be in tomorrow. Really. How are you running a business without a manager on duty. The next day the manager said they would remake the el pastor tacos. No thank you. We will never order from your establishment again. Service was rude, food presentation, quality and taste was just as bad. read more

Not kid friendly. My 4 yr old spilled his drink, they used a broom to get the ice but left the spill. All our feet got wet and sticky. It was Saturday around 3pm, they were not busy. I've eaten there many times, they are always unfriendly and borderline rude. This experience did me in.
