I would have to say this was a fascinating ice cream parlor. There were tons of flavors to choose from. Fruits to traditional flavors and if your unsure you can ask for a little sample. On top of ice cream by the scoop you had tons of popsicles to choose from even sum with worms ( gummy worms). The flavors were rich and tasted just as described. On a normal day I would have just drove past this place thinking it was Mexican food. But I've been missing out on "AWESOME" Mexican Ice cream. The staff was awesome as well helping us through the rainbows of flavors from tequila, Guavas, Ferrero Rocher and about any other fruit you can imagine. We will be back for sure and the best part is that it's probably cheaper than DQ or Baskin Robbins. read more

This place used to be good until they brought in new ppl (well.... somewhat new) the ppl working here don't follow the order the line comes in. Asked if they had arroz con leche and they said they ran out. I told them they had it in the back corner then they said "oh yea we do have it" also the place is under new management. La Michoacána next to toots bought this shop out (la Michoacana next toots is bad!!) AND raised the prices. For 3 things we paid $15 dollars compared to paying half that before. The cones are the cheap brand they're not the good ones they used to use. Well.... looks like I won't be coming back here. Finally we HAD a good Mexican ice cream joint in the boro until now. THERES 2 "la flor de Michoacan" (which used to be the good one) in the boro ......and 1 "la michoacana" ( this one is bad) La Michoacana next to toots is the one that bought out la flor de Michoacan. read more

Fantastic ice cream parlor. They make all their ice cream in the store. The proprietor told me he has been making ice cream his whole life and is at least the second generation in the business. It helps if you speak Spanish. Very clean shop. I had a scoop of the caramel and chocolate chip. The caramel was still soft fresh made. The chocolate chip was a bit older and a bit icy but wonderful. Both were wonderfully creamy with a balanced flavor and neither were too sweet. They have over 30 unique flavors along with freezer cases of Popsicles and ice cream bars. Found this treat and ice cream shop almost by mistake. Great atmosphere, clean and super friendly staff. The kids loved their ice cream and sorbet choices. You can sample every type of ice cream before trying and they had a great variety! 3 kids had small to med ice creams and bill was $12 so price is avg to below avg depending on who you campare it to. I'd say with choices and the quality it's priced right. They also have Aguas there which I sampled and they were really good. We will be back for sure! read more

Excited to have this great option on Memorial Blvd.! The number of different paleta flavors is crazy. Tons of ice cream flavors, as well. I sampled the homemade strawberry milk and fruit drink, and they were both delicious. The paletas are large, fresh, and affordable. I got three to go for a total of $9. The atmosphere is very bright, colorful, clean, and cheerful. I can't wait to go back often and try the elote (corn) and the horchata. Definitely a favorite for the kids...there's no reason to go anywhere else for a sweet treat. All their flavors are made fresh...I'd recommend the Ferrero Rocher.
