First, never order the cone of their custard unless you are prepared to lick it up in seconds before it starts melting all down your hand and get all over your mouth, yuck! I was literally throwing the custard off the cone just to catch up with the melt. I used about 20 napkins to catch all that mess. Second, only have 2 flavors in a cone chocolate or vanilla. We go to Andy's all the time at home in Arizona & this location doesn't hold up to the Andy's standard we have come to know. The team member that helped us in the drive thru was really nice but we ordered 2 regular sized sundaes with raspberries & hot fudge & when they were handed to us they were literally like melted soft serve ice cream & not the solid more dense "frozen custard" we are accustomed too back home (there was nothing "frozen" about our sundaes.) Also both of our sundaes had barely any hot fudge at all (so it definitely wasn't the fudge that melted our sundaes in the 5 seconds it took them to hand us our sundaes.) I am shocked to say that after four years of living in Murfreesboro, I have never been to Andy's before today. What a great treat I've been missing out on! I decided to come over here with my dog, being it's a miserable rainy Sunday. And the value I got was unbelievably great. It really isn't very expensive and the people are so sweet!! I decided to try they are triple chocolate concrete and they even have Pup cups. Needless to say, Londo was very happy with his vanilla pup cup. In fact, he gives a solid two paws up for the tasty vanilla custard. As for my triple chocolate concrete, it was super delicious. Hunks of chocolate chip cookie dough, brownie, and melted chocolate chip in a chocolate custard base, this concrete is a chocoholics dream. The concrete is creamy and uber chocolatey. The 16 yo native (as in born and raised in Murfreesboro) lady (Regan) was nice! No lines or rush, so cold who wood order frozen custard in winter anyhow? Newbies! That's who. She was welcoming and we appreciate her patience with our inquiries, promptly escorted us to the restroom versus simply saying it's 'round back. Took a moment to clarify what we wanted as multiple transactions were in order. Easy fix. The guy making the drinks was easy going and nice. He forgot a main ingredient in one order. Returned and shift change occurred because the two previous staff weren't present. Was impressed by the level of customer service. Order was generously remade and to the right the situation let us keep the goofed up one to boot! Otherwise it would have been wasted in the trash bin. It's super sweet and the base frozen custard wasn't what I imagined. Will return though to try a few other times and burn through our gift card. The service is a winner (stars for that) not a huge fan of the product though... It was unusual to see a frozen custard store open as winter was nearing its peak, but now that I've visited I think I understand the appeal. First of all, forced-air heaters. Leaving it right there. This is a walk-up/drive-thru situation. It was too chilly to sit outside on the benches so we ordered at the walk-up and ate in the car. There are a lot of options to choose from, not only in terms of exactly what to order (Gelato? Ice cream soda? Concrete? Malts?) but also what toppings/add-ins to get. There is a lot to choose from and it took a few minutes to make a decision. My Snowmonster Concrete was a great choice, combining two of my favorites, chocolate and strawberries. I would classify this treat as freshly-laid concrete as it was not rock hard but rather soft and scoopable. I was glad to enjoy frozen custard in the winter; I'm sure I will enjoy it much more in a few months when spring and summer weather is upon us. read more

Came here twice and tried different items now and both were good. Tried the Rico suave jackhammer which has really good and had plenty of hot fudge right down the middle. Always had hot fudge with every bite. Then we tried the bootdaddy concrete which was also very good and had alot of carmel flavor and for fudge pockets and plenty of oreo pieces. The treats here are delicious but definitely overpriced. I've been going to Andy's since they participated in a school's coupon book drive and had a BOGO offer a year or so ago. We kept going back but weren't fond of the cost. I've ordered the same thing every time (10+ visits) and lately I've been told they have to up-charge for 'adding an ingredient', despite the fact that it's a substitution for another ingredient that I have removed bc of an allergy. It was fine all but the last two times we've gone. They never had an issue with this request before, so it's not gone over well with my partner that it costs almost $8 now. And to make matters worse, my last order had what looked like one pump of hot fudge hastily swirled in vanilla. I could've made that at home. The entire bottom of the thing was straight vanilla custard bc whomever made it, clearly didn't care much. They were out of Oreos and still charged the same amount with the up-charge for extra fudge that I definitely DIDN'T get. ‍ What was once one of our favorite ways to wrap up date night, has become too pricey to justify, especially considering it's not hurting their business to substitute comparable items. Wait is usually long but who cares!! The icecream is always spot on when you need it. So many workers there and it helps so much with the service. Well,...I found time this time:) Me and my fiancé both had concretes-she had the "James Brownie Funky Jackhammer" while I opted for the "Boot". Very cordial and pleasant wait staff, so no issues there. I mostly enjoyed the atmosphere there-their dedication to walk-up service is outright promotion to enjoy your present company and just have a casual, no stress dessert experience. No standing in a line awkwardly staring at other customers because the ordering panel with their menu is posted far enough away from the ordering window that you're not in anyone's way. Visited the new Andys, it's great as usual. I had the concrete jackhammer with hot fudge in the center. The only negative I would say was the hot fudge amount was not very much after two or three bites the hot fudge was completely gone I was left with a lot of the frozen custard which is good. I was excited to visit Andy's when I saw it. My family used to love Rita's but since it closed Culver's is the nearest custard. So tonight I took my wife and some friends over to try it out. Overall, we found it too sweet, slightly runny, and not as good as the reviews lead us to believe. SCOOPS come in different sizes, basically the number of scoops you want is the size you order. Want 2 scoops? Choose a small. 3, medium and so on. I tried a medium vanilla. It was runny and, in my opinion, no better than a soft serve at Sonic. A friend tried a mixed small with one vanilla and one chocolate and, while runny, she liked it enough - about the same as Culver's. We ordered two different concretes. Basically mix in custard. One was a JACK BROWN JACKHAMMER, which was outrageously over 1700 calories for a large! It was overwhelmingly peanut butter flavored with large chunks of brownies. Too sweet by a lot. My wife loves this stuff and she couldn't finish a medium. Another concrete custom one was also too sweet for a friend. Look, these are people who like sweets but these were just over the top sugar in our opinion. For the four desserts, the cost was about $18. For what we got, in my opinion, we could have gone to Sonic for half that and would have enjoyed it as much. No one was enthusiastic about the taste afterward. We both had different "concretes" which are similar to a Blizzard from Dairy Queen or SONIC Blasts. While similar to those, they are also different. They had a much smoother texture perhaps due to them being custards rather than ice cream. I had a butterfinger and it could've been mixed a little better or had maybe a bit more but was very good as it was. We used the walk up window and the customer service was great!
