I would like to recognize Alec at LA Fitness on Canyon Springs for the outstanding time he took to sit down with me, walk me through the training process, and help me create a realistic plan to achieve my weight-loss goals. From the moment we met, Alec was motivating, encouraging, and genuinely listened to my concerns. Because I have knee injuries, I was worried about starting a workout program, but he took the time to explain how I could exercise safely while still challenging myself enough to make progress. I never felt rushed or pressured--he made me feel supported and confident that my goals were achievable. Before returning to LA Fitness, I spent time at EOS after being a member of LA Fitness for five years. Unfortunately, my experience there was disappointing. I paid for personal training sessions, but appointments were repeatedly canceled based on my availability, and I was still charged for those missed sessions. It was frustrating and ultimately made me regret leaving LA Fitness. Alec reassured me that my experience at LA Fitness would be different, and honestly, I believe him. During the five years I was previously a member, I never had any issues. I simply wanted to see what the hype around another gym was about, and I can confidently say I regret making the switch. I'm truly happy to be back at LA Fitness. Meeting Alec reminded me why I enjoyed being a member here in the first place. His positive attitude, genuine care, and motivation made a huge difference. You can tell he truly wants his clients to succeed, and knowing there's a supportive team behind me gives me confidence as I begin this journey. Thank you, Alec, for taking the time to explain everything, answer my questions, motivate me, and remind me that my goals are possible. I'm excited to start working with you and the personal training team, and I look forward to the progress we'll make together. read more

Everything went great, I like the fact you walk in and there is equipment available to use. Staff is nice and place is clean. I love the place where you stretch and ropes. So many things you can do here with the equipment. Basket ball court, pool, room you can work out if you don't want to be out in the open. Just option. read more

I went into LA fitness today because I was thinking about getting a gym membership. I was greeted by Andrew who was absolutely fantastic. You took me all over the gym which is huge by the way they have an indoor swimming pool basketball court racquetball courts you name it they got it. But anyway Andrew was very thorough and kind and I really dug his personality thanks Andrew you did a great job. They need to give you a raise. read more

The only gym around with a kids club. Best place to workout where you can conveniently bring your child with you.

I might hate this location. Probably the least pleasant LA Fitness I've been to, and I've been to a lot of them throughout SoCal and IE. A lot of their machines are old and janky and need to be replaced. Weird layout too, like a small nook in the back that's overfilled with two cable machines, lat pull downs, assisted pull ups, and some other random machines. To top it all off, there's kind of bad ventilation, and the whole place smells funky. Please renovate this location. It needs it. read more

Had a great experience here! Andrew B. was very helpful and personable as he assisted me with a membership. He made the process easy and straightforward. Would recommend to check out a membership at this location! read more

This is one of the best LA Fitness gyms, seriously. It is well kept and the staff are very kind. Equipment layout makes for comfortable workouts which is huge for me. Alec in the fitness training department is exceptional. He truly helped me understand the right workouts for my body and gave me the right motivation I needed to smash the goals I placed for my fitness growth. He was very well educated and answered all my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend contacting Alec O if you're considering getting a training assessment to go over your goals! read more

I've been a member for many years. The place is clean, easy going members, but this gym on La Sierra is due for new equipment. It has the same equipmenet since it opened 10 years ago and it's starting to break down all the time. read more

Highly recommend!!You won't regret it!!! read more

Double dipping account with auto debiting. Billing was done on July 23, billed again today, two weeks before the scheduled next billing. Customer service claims that that last debit was non existent and doubled down when challenged. Have go out of my way and waste valuable time to correct this issue. Proof is provided by my bank. This did take place and I am not one to be gaslit. Incompetent or just crooked, future possible customers should consider this. read more

Mid gym. All the stuff I like to use works fine but moreno valleys finest resident are incapable of putting dumbells where they go. Go in there at 5am and they are already all mixed up. Or maybe the staff isn't re-racking when they close. read more

I'm willing to change this review if they can finally fix the sauna once and for all. Wanted to use the sauna last week and it was down for maintenance. I wanted to use it again today and down again. I joined this gym over a year ago for Zumba. I enjoy doing Zumba, and using the machines for muscle building and cardio. I recently got a personal trainer, Rebecca. She has taught me different exercises and shown me how to do them properly for better results. In one month I have already seen positive results. I am really happy I got a personal trainer to help me make better use of my gym time and to see much better results. read more

If you're thinking about getting a membership with this gym, please get every single thing promised to you in writing before agreeing to the membership. Do not cave in to high pressure sales, give yourself a moment to review what you're getting, and confirm that the policies in place are what you're told verbally. The gym seems decent, but I just don't like that I was lied to get me to sign on the dotted line. I purchased the membership one week ago today over the phone with the GM Charlie. I wish I would've tried the gym and Pilates reformer membership before actually joining the gym, but I was told I had two weeks to check it out, but when I went to the gym to cancel the Pilates after try and get one time, I was told something different. I realized with the one time trying to class that it's not for me because I injured myself. The manager of the gym had no empathy for my situation or the fact that I was told something different when I got the membership. I can't emphasize enough that if you're going to join this gym, please do your due diligence because they will do anything to get you to sign up. This like a decent gym to work out at, but just know that if you don't understand something or have been told something other than what their policy truly is no one cares. Also, I canceled the membership today and it says I canceled on a future date??? read more

I'm giving this gym a poor review. The plate-loaded row machine has been out of service for months, and a lot of the equipment is either in bad shape or in need of repair. It's disappointing to see the overall quality decline--especially since I've been a member since 2017. It's no surprise people are switching to EOS, and honestly, I'm seriously considering canceling my membership too. read more

This gym location is in "severe need" of a remodel. Two nearby LA Fitness locations: Alessandro & Moreno Valley (heck even the Arlington location is superb) have had renovations with modern equipment and more aesthetically pleasing gym environment for its patrons. I would like to know why LA fitness corporate has not decided to "modernize" this gym. It's definitely due for an upgrade. read more

Good place to workout, busy at times but not there fault, very helpful staff only complain is older equipment

This review is purely for the operation manager Natalie, she put my debit card on someone else's account and paid for their membership while obtaining my card information over the phone. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Lack of care, attention, and respect for their customers. I canceled my membership after finding out because clearly they don't have high standards for your sensitive information. I kept getting calls for a week saying I needed to pay all because of HER lack of care for her job. My billing name was changed to someone else's as well on my app. I hope corporate reads this because leaving someone's debit card on another account for over a week is INSANE. If you don't mind them putting your sensitive information wherever they feel like just because they're sidetracked, this is the place for you. read more

Top 10 reasons why you shouldn't waste your money on this membership: 1) The General Manager is lazy, therefore the staff is lazy. See pictures. 2) The place is a dump. Trash in the locker rooms, bathrooms, etc. See the pictures. 3) Multiple machines are broken. 4) Multiple hand sanitizer dispensers are empty. I couldn't 4 today. FOUR! We are navigating through a pandemic you lazy assholes. Fill the damn hand sanitizers! See the pictures. 5) Multiple soap dispensers are empty in bathrooms. Again, pure laziness. 6) Multiple paper towel dispensers are empty. See a theme yet?? See the pictures. 7) Multiple toilet paper dispensers are empty. It's never ending.... This is disgusting and unacceptable. 8) The same water fountain has been broken since March. MARCH! This review was written in June. 9) The same racquetball court has been "Scheduled for service" for over 4 weeks. What a joke! 10) Nobody at their corporate office cares to do anything about it. Don't waste your money here people. And to think I canceled my 24 Hour Fitness membership to come to this shithole. This is Moreno Valley in a nutshell. read more

Checked in at LA Fitness this morning and requested a personal health assessment. I recently had a total knee replacement and put on extra weight. Thank you Steven, for fitting me in to your schedule! He's trained in the sciences and knew how to explain muscle strength and nutrition goals. Ruben Mesa was the Coordinator who changed my membership to include guests. Now, I can take as many times two guests during my 18 month membership. He was very patient when I was doing my calculations to see how much it could cost me a month- Ruben is a young man who is friendly without loosing his skill of respect towards the older population . He is helpful and informative. The club has many helpful and friendly staff beginning with the front desk, teachers and coordinators. Very nice staff, equipment is always clean and working! Close to businesses and lighted parking structure. read more

Severely old from the machines being rusty and uncomfortable not even a good old gritty a bad one bathroom needs updating and it was super packed which isn't the issue but due to this there should be resources for a remodel because every single machines seat and cushion is so awkward benches are too small 3 different same incline leg presses it feels like I went through a 1990s mall portal with the interior and was in a food court machines are awkwardly too close and it just smells like straight chlorine in some areas that ARE NOT the pool room read more

I transferred to La Fitness from Planet Fitness just recently and I am beyond glad that I did! Everyone at LA is very welcoming and friendly. Extremely patient, polite, and kind. I met with one of the LA Fitness team members to begin basically a personal goal and workout journey. Shane, he was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. He was very welcoming and had an amazing personality! He even took us through a workout routine which will now be added to my workout routine. He made it fun and he was also very motivational! Excited to continue being apart of this gym and excel in my personal fitness goals and journey. The gym stays very clean and the environment is great. Very well organized as well. Many classes and clubs you can join. read more

On weekends they can be so annoying. They have a class in the exercise room and blast the crappy music so damn it over takes the other music, your own headphones, and your concentration. They refuse to close the door to the room. If you close it they open it right back up. One time they said because it gets hot with the door closed. Wtf? You're doing cardio class and expect to stay cool? Besides there is ac in there. They are rude af. Have a huge attitude about this and are rude af. I've been going here for 15 years or more. Another thing is there isn't much staff around and NOBODY restacks weights even though there are signs. They obviously don't clean the place at closing or put things back before closing up. They tried to enforce it a while ago with someone on the intercom reminding folks but they stopped that and wasn't to proactive when announcing it. Almost as if they were afraid to tell people to do what's a basic gym courtesy. read more

Don't enter a personal training contract at LA Fitness, especially at this location. It has taken the gym over 2 months to provide me with a book to write down my exercises. Staff is doing what is required by the government to keep this place open. Temp check, masks required, hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray available, limited classes available, no basketball or racquetball, pool and spa and sauna closed, majority of lockers unavailable, 25% occupancy (75), some machines blocked off for spacing. Members aren't doing nearly as well. Over a quarter of members remove their mask or tuck it under their chin while working out and do not maintain social distancing. Management leaves it to the members to follow mask requirements. Use the sanitizingvspray, wear your mask, keep your distance. read more
