    Tacos de tripas y barbacoa
    Mia S.

I have never been disappointed walking Out of this supermarket. Having such great tacos is such a rare to find in certain places but these hit the spot every time. The Barbacoa falls apart not to mention the spicy flavor for salsa options. They have more than just tacos if you aren't a fan. Plan to go there on an empty stomach because 2-3 isn't enough lol

Pork and meatless tamales, $1 each.

Please avoid this place…read more They sell bunch of expired and not good stuff. I was looking for lavash/ wrap an I purchased two, one made in Turkey and one from Latvia. I opened it 3 days ago and look at mold all over the bread. Also it was all breaking apart which was a reason I could not make some veggie wraps. I bought it on 2/14 afternoon. There was a date on one exp in April and the other one did not have any date on a package. $10 for both went to trash. Sadly it's not the first time I get rotten or spoiled product. I would not recommend! Service is hit and miss . They treat Muslims better for sure. Not going to support such a business with poor customer service and poor quality.

A lot of the canned stuff, like different types of beans, isn't really any cheaper than what you'd find at places like H-E-B. Fruits and veggies looked pretty standard, but the prices were oddly higher than in regular grocery stores. They do carry some interesting sweets, and I always enjoy checking those out. Coffee, though, was more expensive compared to other international stores I've been to. What really stood out in a bad way was the attitude of the staff. No one was rude exactly, but they act like they don't really want to be there, and definitely not like they want you to be there either. Product-wise, no complaints. But the vibe from the people working there? Pretty unfriendly.

Will you be able to do all you grocery shopping here? Probably not…read more Is it the cleanest, best kept, nicest smelling place? No, get over it. But does it have the best selection of Asian specialty ingredients? Also no. Hana World Market is a gift to the neighborhood, despite all that. It's a convenient place to find affordable Korean, Chinese, and some Japanese goods without spending a whole day of it. They have a fabulous selection of kimchi, miso paste, tofu, noodles, tea, hot sauce, and more. I find find vegetables that few other places carry, like celtuce, pea leaves, and kabocha. Anytime I'm craving kimbop, I know I can hit up the freezer aisle and find tons of vegan options, way better than Trader Joe's. They have the edge over H-Mart and 99 Ranch for the exact reason that they're not as big. Even on a Saturday afternoon, the vibe is chill. There's space to navigate with a full cart. There's room in the parking lot. I can get what I need and not stress over crowds. Of course, there's the food court and coffee stand, which are attractions in and of themselves. I just go for groceries and I'm not disapointed.

This place is, candidly, a bit run down in terms of its vibe, with a nonspecific not pleasant smell that is a turn off. With that said, excellent prices on pork and soft shell crab. I also bought some ginger powder and quail eggs. The coffee bar at the front made a great latte ...
