The food is very good. It has the right amount of grease for me lol. The tacos are delicious the pozole is tender and the burritos are huge! I would pass on the quesadillas. They give free chips and four different salsas. The service is usually good. It's small place but the prices are great! read more

It's an offroads atmosphere. You pay up front. Get your food brought to you at your table, the staff is always very nice. No nonsense and straightforward quick for we turn around. The steak burrito hits the spot when I crave a nice salty steak. The sauces you get with your basket of chips is perfect. The beans and rice always at the spot. For a lot of people who came here in the '90s, they'll definitely notice a big difference in some key areas that I will not go into, which is awesome. Of course I'm the longer in my twenties and put up at certain things or except them as they are. There is a one bathroom that's open to everyone. Sink is outside. No frills but nice to maintained. And I think it offers value for the money and it really satisfies those quick dinner cravings. I travel two neighborhoods over fuck to get here and enjoy it better than the places in my neighborhood. read more

Been awhile since I've had food from here. Told my brother to pick up a steak burrito for me. The ingredients were fresh, but the meat was so salty. Making my mouth tingle salty. Also, wished they grilled the burrito on the outside. Pass......maybe I'll give them a try again...but not for awhile. read more

So I've been going here since just before 1999. The woman who owns it now used to be a server when I first started going. The old owner sold it to her when he was getting rid of his grocery stores and moving. She's super nice, talkative, always smiling and pretty funny. It used to be 24hrs now it's open I believe 20 hours... something like 10am-6am. It's smallish, plenty of parking, old but clean and cash only. The most important part... open when you need it most and pretty cheap! The menu is pretty limited but that really doesn't matter. A huge steak burrito for $6 will do it every time and throwing on 2 chicken enchiladas for $3 is amazing! Sometimes she makes chicken soup or a special guisado that you have to ask for (def ask). Is it the absolute best tasting things I've ever had? Nope. Is it pretty delicious, cheap and pretty much always open when you need it to be? YES! I always love supporting local businesses and especially someone who went from serving to owner and never stopped working their tail off, and apparently so do a lot of other people because this place has been here a long time and doesn't look like it's going anywhere any time soon. read more

This is the place to get your late night Mexican fix. My sister would drive here late at night when craving. Keep in mind that this is a dive restaurant, don't expect anything fancy - some of the patrons are a little scary too. We once saw someone expose himself here haha - but we still got our food and ate it! The food is cheap and delicious ... get the burritos. They're about the size of your head and I always wind up with leftovers. read more

Trusty La Fiesta. I call it "Da Party". This place looks like Mexico. In fact, you could film a TV show about Mexico with the exterior and interior and no one would suspect anything other than the english menu on the wall. *Warning: This is not a "clean" place. If you are looking for linen and such, do not even venture within 5 miles of this area. However, if you have no fear and will eat anything, you will be rewarded. Once again, come at your own risk. Open 24/7, it is a place where I can get giant burritos at 4am. They have the best horchata. Dine in and you get unlimited chips and salsa/pico. My personal favorites are steak or pastor burrito and lengua tacos. Their burritos are HUGE but they do not have rice. What they lack in rice, they make up in MEAT. So its a win for me. Otherwise, there is beans, lettuce, tomato, chihuahua cheese and MEAT all wrapped up. Nothing else. Oh, did I mention that it's $2.75 for the burrito? Everything else costs extra but you can add rice, sour cream, guac or whatever else you want...I've never felt the need to add all that stuff. I only eat here either in the middle of the night when Cook County Sheriff's Department is here for their lunch (since the CC Jail is only a mile or two away) or for lunch, so I couldn't tell you how it is during other times. read more

I have been coming here for over 35 yrs. As a little girl, my family and I would eat here. I can tell you, this is the only place I will eat enchiladas from. They are the best. If not that, I would have the torta. Honestly, you can't go wrong. Grown up, I still go and eat there with friends. The owners have always been very nice and know me by name. Vice-Versa. That's the customer service that I like. read more

I miss this place, and it still has the best steak burritos in town. I stop by when I'm in the neighborhood, and the food has never let me down. And don't get me started on the horchata! It's Heaven in a glass, I tell ya'! The place is a dive, but who cares? If you want ambiance, go to one of those trendy Mexican places that's run by Americans. If you want cheap, honest, authentic Mexican food, then come here. read more

This spot is okay if you are looking for very late Mexican food. Meat was a bit too salty for my taste buds. The steak tacos were fine and the pastor tasted more like chicken than pastor but overall a nice spot for a late night Mexican craving. read more

5 years ago I would have given this place 5 stars for their steak burritos, but its turned to garbage,as with all the other places in brighton park,it seems like they're doing something different with the carne asada,it appears to be "boiled " meat.I payed for extra meat, and got the same size burrito.after my last two experiences being the same,I will no longer dine at this establishment. read more

I've only had their steak burritos and chips and salsa here and both are pretty good. I'm also a fan of their pickled jalepenos, onions and carrots mix. There steak burrito is loaded with meat and it's a tasty when you add their jalapeños to it. Under 4 dollars! Cash only, open 24 hrs, no nonsense, hits the spot and cheap! I think it's acceptable to drag a date here after you've seen each other naked. What's there to hide or be ashamed of after that.. Hmmm? read more

Our family drives out here from portage Indiana about once every month or two. I love the avocado burrito ~ it is the best I've ever had! Their pico de gallo is perfection The rest of my family enjoy the steak burrito & the price? AMAZING!!! Only $5 each ~ And they are HUGE oh, and here's a tip ~ The burritos are even great the next day I just leave them all wrapped up in the foil they come in, and throw them in the oven for a bit! read more

When I first heard about this place, I was driving around with some friends for a late night (4am) snack. This was one of the few restaurants you can guarantee will be open 24/7. Their specialty consists of burritos (under $4) and horchata ($1.75). The burrito is as big as the chipotle burritos, which costs roughly 8 dollars. They load the burrito of the meat of your choice, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. If you want to take out your girlfriend to for a romantic night out, I would recommend that you avoid this place at all cost. It isn't the cleanest restaurant nor best Mexican restaurant. But it is one of the better restaurants that quell our stomachs for the given price Overall, the quality of the food is mediocre at best as a result of super cheap burritos. Service is quick. I would recommend this restaurant to people that has a late night munchies for under 5 bucks. read more

Open 24/7 and the food is good and portions are great. The server is quick to service and you don't need to be waiting to see if she will come by to see if you need anything. The free chips and salsa are very good. Small spot but good food and service. Not a place for a date but who cares lol! Just remember a place with good food and great service is a place to tip! I have gone there for years and many times. read more

Great food and good service but the best part was the horchata. If you want quick service and great food for a great price head over to La Fiesta. You won't be disappointed. read more

My mom has been going to this restaurant along time since she been working for CCDOC (which is 27 years) and today I found it after thinking 111 st was la fiesta the one I was thought was the place i remembered. I called up and the guy said the burritos are 10 dollars and not that big at all he seen bigger I was disappointed and was about to give up (thank god I never went there) but I can tell that no other restaurant can top this la fiesta cause its the only one with the giant burritos that holds true to their name and the lady was so nice to me I will be going to them from now on! Great service and you can't top that's it's open 24/7 too! read more

This is what a real taqueria looks like. I have been going to LF since 1992 and have lived all over the US and damn I crave these burritos and tacos all day every day. I used to go so frequently. If you want service or atmosphere go to Big Star and get some of that mediocre food, if you want a good honest solid burrito or taco this is your place. My suggestion 3 carna asada tacos, 2 picadillo and a 12 pack ;)! or ! carna asada burrito and 1 carne asada taco and 1 picadillo. My wife now gets carnitas, its good but nothing like the carne asada. read more

Thank goodness there is a taco place around the southside that is open 24 hours. The food is descent.

My favourite goto place when I was in high school. I went back 10 years lady and the waitress remember me! Best Burritos with out the fillers of rice and beans! read more

Saying this place is dirty is an understatement. I went the other day to find cockroaches in the sugar. If that's not enough to turn you away maybe the diarrhea my girlfriend and I got will. The food was mediocre at best but it gets you filled. The reason all these people, and myself, have only been here at night is because we were all out for a good night of drinking and were greeted by this place at 4am. i think the reason they are all giving good ratings is because they were too drunk to notice what they were getting into. avoid this place at all costs. read more

I enjoyed their tacos, never anything else. For info, I'm a chef in the bustling rivernorth district and have learned everything I have from places like LaFiesta which is a family owned mexican joint as well as hundreds of others throughout the country. I've never in my life have ever been disgusted by a plated burrito. On the outside, all burritos look the same, the one I received was different from anything I've eaten in the past. The filling was pretty much small sprinkles of ingredients and the meat, deserves to be inspected. The steak was definately refried from an earlier batch because it only took 6 minutes to get to me when just 4 tacos takes 15-20 minutes, the meat was also over seasoned to the extent that not even my pup would eat it, and he fkn eats anything. It was reddish brown and tough as hell with having crispy black edges which indicates the method of over cooking by not adding moisture to the meat and simply just reseasoning and refrying it to practically charred beef pebbles. This place in on the end of my block and I frequent it alot, but this is enough to make me not spend my money there again. I know the processes of creating something from what you've already had and for as aged as these people are, they should have better knowledge on how to properly recook a steak let alone that steak being diced and sitting for more than a couple hours. You can still make it safe to eat, but because of that.....I'm currently having a bad time sitting on the toilet. After 1/8 of the burrito, I cant stop feeling sick and shi*ing. LaFiest is a party I will never attend again. read more

Love this place. It's a very small restaurant, been there for years. It's not the fanciest place, not a place to take a girl out on a date, but the food is absolutely delicious. It could use some fixing, but the place is clean. Like I said, IT'S NOT A FANCY restaurant, but they do well with the space they have because it's very clean. Never had a problem with my meals and I have been going there for years. The prices are excellent, burritos are awesome. For $3.75, they definitely earned the name of "HOME OF THE GIANT STEAK BURRITO". read more

I had been told by someone who once lived in the area of this place and the fact that they have giant burritos for under 4 bucks. After going there today, I can't understand why it took me so long to finally go to this place. The steak was decent and tasty, and good lord, do they pack it in, along with lettuce, beans, and cheese. The pico de gallo is also quite good. If you can find a better burrito for this price, please let me know! read more

Food not bad and prices not bad. However the short older woman who works there (owner's wife) is very rude and seems racist if you are not hispanic...she will always over charge unsuspecting customers and ignore you until she feels like taking your order. read more

I personally can say from many years of going there though it might not be the highest rated but when your favorite place is closed and you got that late nite hunger from out drinking or you just got the munchies this place is a life saver. That's why I stay loyal to the place. They got a good variety of food to choose from that ain't to bad . The reason I gave it five stars cause its a life saver read more

Let me start off by saying there were 2 people in front of me and it took 20 minutes just to order. The woman behind the counter has no idea what the hell she is doing. We ordered 2 steak burritos, 1 with only cheese the other with no lettuce no tomato with sour cream, and 1 carne asada dinner. It took her 5 minutes to take the order which was a sign right off the bat this was not going to end well. 15 minutes later she comes out with 3 burritos, obviously not what we ordered. But the best part is that NONE of it was right. We left because we weren't going to wait another 15 minutes for her to try to understand us and then get the food. The meat was so dry I couldn't even eat it. Would not recommend to anyone unless they want frustration and awful burritos. read more

I came here almost every night with my room mate and we both ordered steak burritos. They were so big, that in the morning we used to mix the leftovers with eggs and have breakfast burritos. Chips and guacamole are awesome. After i moved, i missed this place the most. Great huge burritos for cheap in the middle of the night. Cant go wrong. read more
