As you walk in, you are taken into the groceries fresh deli products and the lady greeted us at the start. Fresh smoked/ dried pork delights waiting to be grabbed. We asked to try and they gladly gave us a sample after we tried it we did not hesitate to purchase a large amount. They had anything you can think of fine selection of pork, beef, cheese and fish .. lots of smoked goods mmzzsm smoked salmon fillets, russian black bread , caviar, Cabbage rolls ( Golubsti) , pickled or marinate cabbage galore ( kapusta kapchonaya) dairy products and russian Chocolates. The price tag is a little high but it's imported so you pay more for the good stuff not too much more it's standard pricing for a delicatessen. They even had Pickled barrels of Pickles and green unripe tomatoes to chose from it's rare to find these now a days as everything is in a can or a jar so was pretty appreciative that they kept it served fresh this way from a barrelled jar, There's plenty of interesting and delicious sweets and dry goods imported as well. First time here and I'm happy I discovered it without My mom or grandma so now I can bring them here and help them reminisce with me as well! The Saint Sauveur location is a star child of this facelift. You're entering a 64,600 sq. ft. showpiece that is bright, well lit and spacious. Upon entering you'll first notice a massive patisserie counter with cupcakes, macarons and other gourmandises. Fresh produce will be a few steps behind. The new concept has a selection of "boutiques" along the perimeter, like a deli counter, charcuterie, oyster/shrimp bar and cheese counter with the prettiest 2 feet tall glass fridge containing an impressive array of local and imported cheeses. There is also a Joe Fresh collection of apparel for adults and children. The Loblaws/Provigo brand excels in going above and beyond to turn grocery shopping into an experience. The food is premium and gourmet, sampling stations are delish. Everything was taken into consideration, there's nothing boring or traditional about this store, even the floor is a popping orange. To make your shopping trip more enjoyable, the couple times I went over the holidays, they had a live jazz band playing! If you were dragged along and didn't feel like shopping, take a seat at the cantine and make use of their free wifi! We didn't finish our selection at 8pm (the closing time) but almost at the end. However, there was one employee very rushed push us to leave, we just have one or two item need to select. She didn't want to help but only spoke loudly to us just the store need to be closed, but based on my experience no store in Canada push customer to leave as long as customer step into the store before the closing time. My wife is pregnant, she couldn't move fast and felt sad and angry about this thing. There is no respect from the the employee at this store. Please avoid this store. It was really a bad bad experience.
