Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.

The wait to be seated was long, which may turn away many people. However in my opinion all good…read morethings are worth the wait! This was no exception. From the moment you are taken back to the whole dining experience to when you leave you feel a certain way that you really can't put a price on. Maybe its the stunning decor or the immaculate service perhaps even the food but actually i think it may be the whole experience in itself. Want to get treated like royalty, then do yourself a favor and add this location to your list! That omelette may look plain but i promise you it was one of the fluffiest omelettes i have ever tried. The bread service was spectacular and the hot chocolate compared to many of the other viral places. Now for my romance girlies that enjoy great photo ops, this place has so many! Even a mirrored staircase perfect for photos! I came here to celebrate my birthday brunch and I believe it to be a great place for any special occasion!

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.

The attention to detail at Four Seasons, any Four Seasons, is always out of this world and George V is definitely in my top 3 and I've been to many! Fresh Mandarin Juice - Our waitress was raving about it so we couldn't pass up and wow. It was possibly the freshest and most delicious juice I've ever had. I was expecting a bit of tartness but it was absolutely delicious and sweet! We had to ask her if it was sweetened in any way and she said "No, it's freshly squeezed!." We were hooked. 5/5. French Toast (or toast?! Haha!) - Was divine! *said in Cam's voice*. Was lightly caramelized which gave it a nice crunch yet still moist. 5/5. Scrambled Eggs - I know they're just scrambled eggs but again with FS's magic touches it was amazing. I'm the type of person who likes to put ketchup on their eggs but you definitely didn't need anything at all on this. It was so deliciously creamy. Quite creamy that even my psoriasis flared up but it was definitely worth it. 5/5. Blue Lobster Omelette - My friend's been raving about this for ever and I've been dreaming of it since. If you've ever seen A Hundred Foot Journey, that scene with the chef trying to make the best omelette will likely bring you back to that scene. Definitely Michelin rating worthy. It was about the size of a burrito with a very generous amount of lobster and eggs perfectly cooked. It was so simple looking yet it was rich with flavour. This omelette alone made this breakfast the best one of our Euro trip, possibly even my life. Not easy on the wallet but worth every Euro. If you're curious, this is about $100 CAD. Call me crazy but I'd pay for it again. 5/5.

We had lunch here upon our arrival in Paris and really enjoyed our club sandwich and ratatouille. The Bloody Mary and French fries were also a 10/10. This restaurant is elegantly decorated, having plenty of seating, and a piano where performers come to play in the evening time. My girlfriend and I came here several times during our stay the Peninsula. Our first meal here was the croque monseur. It had the expected ingredients: ham, gruyere, bechamel, and a bit of butter. It also had some truffles, which gave it a very distinct taste. While truffles are not my cup of tea, the chef here somehow did make it my cup of tea when he included truffles in my croque. We also came here for dinner, in which I ordered grilled salmon while she ordered steak. The portions were smaller than expected, but the food was prepped decently. The side of potatoes and veggies, along with dinner bread, was decent for a late-night meal. The breakfast service was great. I ordered a salmon and cheese omelette, with a side of avocado, a cappuccino, and a glass of water. Again, the portions were smaller than expected, but the meal was prepped well. The staff here is amazing. I was initially worried that my high-school French was not going to allow me to get by. But the workers here speak English and Spanish as well, so we were good as far as communication. Overall, we were impressed by this restaurant. They took care of us very well, much how the staff in the rest of the hotel did. If you're staying at the Peninsula in Paris, this restaurant is a great place to dine.
