We had seen this truck parked here all week, but this night was the night I would commit to trying it, and I am happy I did. I can't even remember the name of the sandwich I got, but I know it contained three meats and that was enough to this carnivore to get it. The sandwich was delicious, it hit the spot, just what I needed at 3:30 in the morning, I highly recommend you try them no matter what time of the day you get the craving. BTW, the location on Yelp is wrong, or they have a second truck.

So we found this food truck not far down the street from the DoubleTree. Their menu was not that hard to understand even for non-Spanish speakers for the most part, but then when it comes to something novel ("What is a fongo?"), the lack of an explanation and choppy English-language skills might not help very much. So after a bit of pointing and gesticulating, we ended with an artisanal burger and some fongos pollo. The food was OK - freshly prepared and quite substantial. For my taste, it relied a bit much on grease and mayonnaise. Still a decent taste of local fare - or IS it considered authentic local fare? Apparently, they are pretty big for a food truck - 5 or 6 different locations at least, depending on which truck you want!

The Food Truck Park has a parking lot. I've been to the food truck park twice but was unable to try the food at this truck. Third time was a charm... and a surprise. I didn't expect it to be this good. I'm a fan. I came with wife and son for dinner yesterday. Our son had fallen asleep in the car and we forgot the stroller. She stayed with him while I got the food. When I arrived at the truck there was a short line. I skipped it to go to another truck (El Cherry) which had no line to get a sandwich and fries for our kid. When I returned the line had died quickly. I ordered the falafel rice combo. It came with 4 falafels, pita, choice of rice: arroz shariah, basmati Al curry, basmati con almendras; choice of salad: taboulwh or cranberry; choice of sauce; and baklava or jiñara for dessert. I went with basmati con almendras, tabouleh, tahini, and baklava. I added a fresh kiwi juice. It came to $18. There was enough for two people. My wife and I devoured it in the car. Everything was delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor. The kiwi juice was resfreshing. They also have strawberry, mango, and iced tea. They gave me a sample of each... all good. The service was friendly. I will definitely return for more, I ant to try the shawarmas bedtime; and I highly recommend this place. It is worth checking out. You can also find their other truck at the Caguas Food Truck Park.
