I was on vacation and, like many others on this site, was influenced by the appearance and promotions on social media. I went with my spouse on a nearly two-hour drive to this location. As numerous individuals have also noted, the owner of this establishment is exceedingly boorish and arrogant. I am a pescatarian and desired to order one of the dishes with only shrimp. However, when I arrived at approximately 1 p.m., which is significantly earlier than the closing time, they were already out of shrimp. I inquired with the individual who takes orders whether they would be willing to prepare a vegetarian dish for me, which would have included avocado and tostones, as they were out of shrimp. She responded, "No." I am not sure why she opted to say "no". In order for me to eat the dish, she simply had to eliminate shrimp that she did not have. Ultimately, I resort to snacking on my husband's food in order to eat something. I believe that as a business owner, it is important to be more accommodating when asked to serve an item that is already on the menu. I was not requesting that she prepare a new dish; rather, she was unable to obtain the shrimp, and I was content to consume the dish on the menu without it. Individuals such as this are unable to grasp the fundamental principles that comprise the success of a successful business. I am highly disappointed with this experience and establishment. read more
