We ended up getting a few donut toys, lamb ears, bully sticks, and stingray sticks for our dogs. They loved everything! I feel good about giving my dog clean and natural products. The first time I took them to the self wash I was charged for a medium and a large sized dog self-wash after telling them my dogs weight. Now a second time I go and they asked for my dogs weight, I said 18 and 21lbs. I had also gotten a few exotic treats that were not priced so I didn't think anything when I heard the total. When I got home and look at the receipt I noticed I was charged for 2 large dogs. Mind you we had to wash both dogs in the same tub at the same time. Their normal groomer doesn't even charge them as large dogs because they are not. So I guess I'm just confused on the pricing because a 21lb cockapoo is BARELY a medium sized dog... so I guess great for treats bad for self washing.

Heather has a gentle manner and gets to know your pet before you hand them over by asking thoughtful questions. She is knowledeable and compassionate which is the perfect combo for a trainer. Heather looks for the root causes of behaviour and offers training to correct that vs a cooke cutter approach. I wish I was in the area longer to take advantage of her expertise.

They will hurt your dog and give no apologies or remorse for their mistakes. The lead tech who's a woman is over bearing and doesn't listen along with Dr. Ryan Bowler. If you want to be ripped off on his prices which are outrageous and get the poorest quality care for your pet then this is your guy! His tech hurt my dog and now my dog is terrified and won't go back because of his fear of them. He's a special needs dog who was an abused dog before I got him and he has major anxiety and trust issues. I called them out on it (hurting my dog) and they suggested I drug my dog up next time before bringing him in. They suggested I drug my dog up before coming in so they can cut his nails?! When I mentioned this to Ryan Bowler that his tech hurt my dog he just shrugged it off and suggested because it didn't bleed that he wasn't hurt. I about lost it. When I told him I was taking my dog to someone else he just dismissed it like he couldn't care less. No apologies, offers, consolations or considerations to keep us he just dismissed us like we were nothing to him. He literally couldn't care less. I've been bringing Harly in for a couple years and then they did this like it was just business as usual so I told him I was done with his horrible practice. I've had issues with him before over the $70 exam fee that he spent doing for less than two minutes to tell me yep he's okay all for $70. I'm telling you these people will hurt your dog and then act like it was yours or the dog's fault! Worst veterinarian I've ever had after 30 years of owning dogs and going to vets I've ever encountered. You want your pet to be abused this is your guy! WARNING GO AT THE RISK OF YOUR PET!!

Then they said she needed another surgery after that for something else, which was over $10 THOUSAND. We decided to go pick her up from our vet and make a hard decision to put her down. I started calling around Vegas with info that our vet gave us, and the Vets that did answer said the same price, and the risk was huge! I started doing a wider search in California, Arizona, and Utah. Finally, I called Lava Rock, Ashley answered, I asked A LOT of questions, she patiently answered all of them, and she set up an appointment for the next day. We packed our bags, along with our other dog (so if the surgery was successful, and she needed aftercare, we would stay out in St. George). We arrived, and the first thing they noticed was how well our puppy was acting. Dr Murdock went over all Philly's records and did an exam. She let us know that after the exam, she didn't see any reason to put our girl down. We were SHOCKED AND CONFUSED (crying happy tears now) as this was such a serious life-threatening problem, so we asked her to take an X-ray to reassure us. I had my beloved dog, Leesi, there for training a 4 years ago. Things were going well until she…read morestopped eating. I removed her 2 weeks before the paid tuition. She died of pancreatic cancer.Fast forward to a year ago, after this program said I could use my last 2 paid weeks in the future. I rescued another dog who needed training for pulling and aggression towards other dogs. I opted to use my prior 2 weeks and pay an additional 1k to train my new dog. Everything was set for early January of 2025, but my mom died on the 16th and I couldn't keep the schedule. When I began attempting to contact Daniel in March, he was MIA. I felt bad for him and thought there must have been a tragedy in his family. Not so, he is just dodging me. I dont care about the lost 2 weeks. I just want my 1k back. Shame on you. I would not refer you to anyone.

Back in March, I was told that my dog Shadow could be scheduled for a refresher in June due to one of the trainers resigning. I understood the situation and was more than willing to wait. I even responded promptly, confirming that June would work and asking to be placed on the calendar. As June approached, I reached out again -- multiple times -- to follow up and get a specific date set. My messages were never responded to. It's now the end of June. At this point, I just want my money back so I can take my dog elsewhere to someone who's reliable and professional the least you can do is communicate and issue a refund.

One of them is super shy and skittish but has warmed up to Ethan no problem. The other (the one in the photos) is a little stand off-ish and can be reactive towards men. Ethan has been doing great with her, she is still warming up to him but I'm sure they will be friends soon.
