I rescued another dog who needed training for pulling and aggression towards other dogs. I opted to use my prior 2 weeks and pay an additional 1k to train my new dog. Daniel turned my out of control pup to a more mannered pupper! Koda was very reactive, pulled on his leash when walking, doesn't really pay attention. Left him with Daniel for 2 weeks and man. As someone else has commented, we sent our new rescue dog, Chloe, to be trained at this business in the summer of 2024 and while communication during her $4,000 6 week board and train was inconsistent, we were forgiving and after getting her home were largely pleased. Prior to her coming home and again at the drop off the owner did express that while they did have her for a full 6 weeks, it was his opinion that she really still needed another couple of weeks to be at the place they would expect after a month and a half. Because she had been a rescue and had already bounced around at least 3 different families in a 6 month period we decided to wait until spring of this year to follow up and complete her training. It has now been 3 weeks of trying to get in touch with the owners via text messages, emails, and telephone calls and cannot get anywhere. I have heard that they recently have shut down the businesses though (maybe) are still in the dog training field but have taken it in a "different direction?" What was a fairly positive experience with a hopeful relationship continuing has become very troubled and unprofessional. I now sit staring at my credit card receipt as well as my signed contract (which states all 2-6 week courses include "lifetime refresher guarantees") and am debating my next steps. Horrible experience in Fresno, CA.! Paid $4000 to have our dog do a 6 week board and train. After only five days in the care of the owner Daniel. We were called on a Saturday and told there was a supposed sewage bust at his facility back on Thursday and that he needed to return our dog back to us because several others dogs in his care had gotten sick. Our dog was returned that Saturday sick with diarrhea and soon after vomiting. Medical bills cost another $400. The owner Daniel stated he would pay for the vet bill. When I sent Daniel a copy of the bill. Daniel stated "that's not worms so did not happen here (board and train). Lab work revealed my dog had gotten a parasite. After we requested a partial refund for the days our dog was not there when we had not heard from Daniel after several days. Daniel chose to hide behind his contract, instead of doing the right thing. He did offer a half assed option of training our dog at his house. Sent my two Doberman for the two week board and train. I couldn't imagine how changed my four legged children came back. I am now able to get things done around the house without having to yell or fuss with them. Being consistent with the training they got and the one on one we got from Daniel it has really helped us especially with the eldest Doberman which was aggressive with the neighbors' dogs. She will test us at times but with the corrections we were taught she stops very quickly. We really appreciate the time take. To train both our pups and also the time you took to help us with all the questions and concerns we had once they came home and I do have to say the continued reaching out to make sure we don't have any concerns or issues. Daniel came through in the clutch to help out with last minute vacation plans before Christmas 2022. He boarded 4 dogs, including two American Bulldogs and 2 English Bulldogs.
