We dropped our dachshund off 9AM before a 10 mile horse ride through Bryce Canyon. Our dog escaped around 12noon. We were NOT Notified of his escape. WTF people?!!! We called at 5:30 PM to say we were running late from the horse ride to learn that our dog had been missing the last 5 hours. WTF People? We're I not an experienced tracker and hunter Ziggy would most certainly of been a Coyote Biscuit as I came across coyotes, bobcats, and certainly mountain lion tracks as I hunted for my dog while the owners were home doing god knows what. But not looking for my dog! WTF people? I found Ziggy 12 hours after his escape in the middle of nowhere at 2:00 AM 3 miles from the kennel. If your dog is blind or lame this place could work. If your dog wants to escape, find another place. read more

Discovered this lovely service recently, as we were planning our trip to Bryce national Park. The owner, LORENA was extremely accommodating and reserved a spot for our small dog Julian. Could not ask for a better dog service! As promised, LORENA promptly picked up our little guy in front of our hotel at 7 AM sharp, allowing us to spend the day hiking in Bryce Canyon. I could immediately tell she has a way with dogs, and felt instantly comforted! Unlike other dog boarding services I have experienced in the past, this is as professional as it gets! Here the dogs have plenty of space to play and run in a safe environment with other dogs. Joe delivered our pup back promptly at 5pm as promised. Julian was happy and perky upon his return! We couldn't have been more pleased with PawzDogz! I don't remember the owner's name, but she was super helpful and friendly! I called a week ahead of time and was able to easily book doggie day care service. I then had to make a last minute change and the owner was very accommodating. BUT the best part of the service aside from the loving care is the PICK UP and DROP OFF right at the hotel! We called Lorena in a pinch to watch our two dogs as we wanted to hike into Bryce Canyon. She returned my call promptly and was extremely flexible working with us to pick up our dogs from the RV campground we were staying. She arrived at 7am and off the dogs went, came back tired and happy when she dropped them back off at 5pm. We then decided we needed to call Lorena again so we could make the two hour drive to Zion to do more hiking. So two days later we called her again and she offered to meet us at 6:30am on our way to Zion to make things more convenient for us. The dogs quickly and happily jumped into her vehicle which made us feel so much better about leaving them again. Bottom line Lorena is terrific with the dogs, very knowledgeable, caring, prompt with her communications and very flexible. I highly recommend her should you need someone to watch your pups while you explore Bryce Canyon! read more

This service is incredibly convenient and affordable, and we would DEFINITELY use them again. We had a dog sitter bail last minute and had to bring our dog on our trip to Bryce, and this place came in CLUTCH! We called the day before we needed the service and they were able to take our reservation one day in advance. We stayed at the Bryce Canyon Resort and they just asked us to tell them our room number once we checked in, so we did that and they said they'd come to our room at 7AM the next day. They came promptly at 6:55 AM the next day to pick up our dog and the guy took a few minutes to let our nervous dog warm up to him before putting her in the van. Then we were able to enjoy a day hiking in Bryce, and met the guy back at our hotel room at 5 PM for drop off. Our dog came back happy and tired after playing all day! Thank you PawzDogz! read more

We were heading to hike Bryce Canyon and needed a place to watch our pup for the day. Found this place after reading a glowing review by a travel blogger on Bring Fido. Called a couple of weeks ahead and booked a spot for a day. Lorena and her husband were very sweet and I felt great letting them care for our boy. Lorena picked him up at our hotel and gave us directions out to her place (we wanted to pick him up early). So far so good. Had a great day hiking and enjoyed the drive out to their farm later to get the boy. We were a little surprised to see a pretty rustic pen in a shed with 5 little dogs all crowding around the gate when we walked in. There was a small empty bowl for water and the bag of food and a treat we had brought with him had remained in her car and had not been opened so he had not been offered any food or given his treat. Our dog smelled of poop and drank an entire bowl of water after we got him back to the hotel. It was obvious he had had little if any water all day. I would not take my dog back there. The owners are very nice but I'm not sure how attentive they were to their charges. read more

We were near Bryce Canyon at an RV park and decided last minute about 5:30pm the night before our hiking day that we should board our dog and not leave him in the RV. The owner responded to my voicemail, email and text right away. Yes I went a bit over board lol. She had space to watch our dog the next day. Her price is beyond reasonable! She gave us the option to meet near Bryce where she picks up/ drops off the dogs to other owners or we could drop him off at her business. We chose to drop him off since we didn't want to wake up too early. It was a bit of a drive (about 30 minutes from Bryce) but worth not having to worry about our dog for the day. She was very kind and responsive. She even sent me a picture of our dog during the day playing with another pup. I would highly recommend this place! read more

I am very displeased with this company. I confirmed last evening with the owner that her husband was picking up my dog at 6:15 am this morning. Well 6:15 came and went. I called and texted the owner at 6:20 and 6:30 and there was no answer. I waited until 6:45 for a call or pick up and nothing! They haven't even called to apologize or bother to tell me what happened. Very unreliable! I was trying to catch the sunrise at Bryce and due to their negligence, I missed it and missed my hiking friends I was supposed to meet there at 6:45. This was a great place to leave our dog while we explored Bryce Canyon. It's just past the town of Panguitch, maybe 15-20 minutes from the park entrance. Great service! The location was further than expected. There are no other pet sitters nearby so we had no other choice. We were greeted by an Australian Shepard by the entrance. We dropped off Tink with no problems. We requested a bath be provided since she got pretty dirty during our camping in Zion the nights before. The owner offered to meet us half way so we didn't have to drive all the way back. We were staying in Tropic and this option was great! Definitely will recommend their service to anyone coming this way. While at Bryce Canyon and Zion NP we left our dog Varly at Pawzdogz. He was treated GREAT both days. You can really tell that the owner has a love for dogs/animals. Lorena took such good care of our dogs while we hiked in Bryce Canyon. She even picked them up and dropped them off at Ruby's Inn Campground where we were staying, which was great because when we dropped them off at her place the first day we got caught in a cattle drive! I think this facility is no longer in business, tried to get a reservation here but, kept getting a recorded full mailbox message, also if you look them up online you'll get a couple of different numbers (btw both numbers didn't pick up) the lack of professionalism is horrible, which is why I'm led to believe, they are no longer in business. Lorena was super friendly and helpful. We were camping at Bryce Canyon and needed a place for our two dogs while we were hiking the Navajo Loop in Bryce. PawzDogz is the closest dog care place in the area, but since it's a half hour away from the campsite, Lorena has a service where she will come pick up your dogs from your campsite at 7 am and return them at 5 pm. It was so nice! We actually needed to leave earlier than 5 pm, so when we were done at Bryce, we drove to Panguitch to pick up our two dogs, and we found them playing in a fenced off yard with other dogs, and they looked like they were having the time of their life! Lorena clearly loves dogs and it was such a great service. We would definitely do it again. read more

This groomer was great! her place is on a farm outside Panguitch. The drive is Beautiful! She treated my dog just like one of her own. She has transformed a room in her house for grooming. She gave me a tour. if a dod is a house dog & it is staying all day (daycare) she will keep it in her family room. very nice set up. My charlie had a bath, anal sacs expressed, nails clipped, & a great haircut. at a very reasonable price. the place is pretty easy to find. just follow the dog paw signs. The folks there were able to arrange with Lorena, the manager of PAWzDOGz to pick my dog up and care for her while I was being treated (my dog was fine, thank goodness!!) Lorena returned my dog after I was released from medical care. Not only did she deliver "my baby" to me @ the hospital she handed me a bag filled w/ dog food and never charged me a dime--what a kind and generous dog-caring woman Lorena is. Lorena is very easy to contact and sent us a map so we could easily locate them. It's close-ish to Bryce Canyon. The location is about 15 minutes off of Highway 89 in Panguitch. It was raining the day we dropped him off and the kennel is indoor/outdoor so he was muddy which was to be expected. If it weren't raining, the outdoor kennel would have been great! read more
