We booked a last minute trip to Kanab with our kids and dog. We wanted to take the kids on a UTV…read moretour and couldn't take our dog. The owner responded in a timely manner and we were able to book a last min boarding reservation. She asked us details about our dog which made us feel comfortable leaving her there. We would definitely consider leaving our dog here again.

I cannot thank Darlene enough and I definitely recommend her for you and your pooches needs…read more I came to Orderville to hike Zion, Kanab and the general area with my little pooch. While I was hiking Zion, I left my dog back at the cabin. She got separation anxiety and I realized that I couldn't leave her by herself a second day. This tiny creature turned into a damn Tasmanian devil. Don't let her cute furry face fool you. I called Darlene around 3pm and told her I was looking for someone to board my dog overnight since I was scheduled to leave to Zion the next morning at 6am. Darlene was great. Luckily she had the room to board her on such short notice. She said she could take her and would even let her sleep with her since that is our usual practice. She asked important questions like - does she get along with other dogs? How old is she? Does she sleep alone? Now, afterwards I might have had a little separation anxiety myself giving my dog to a perfect stranger but honestly, she couldn't have been in better care. Side note: Darlene seems to be a staple in this area for dog care and training. I've heard MULTIPLE people rave about her training. If I lived closer I would absolutely send my dog to her.

We took our little 3 year old dog with us for a road trip from CA to UT. While we took her to Bryce…read moreCanyon, we were planning to hike the Narrows in Ziom the following day and she was not allowed to accompany us. There are very few Rovers in Kanab, Utah which is where we were staying. Our lodging, Best Friends Roadhouse, was very pet friendly and they told us we could leave Bailey in the room but I felt nervous about letting her stay there without supervision for so many hours. I was turned onto Auntie Pat's from another pet sitter who was unavailable. As soon as I called her she was friendly and willing to watch Bailey. She accepted electronic payment so it was very easy to work with her. She gave me an Arizona address so I got a little worried about how far it would be but it was only about 10 minutes away from Kanab, where we were staying. She was willing to accept Bailey early in the morning and then we gave her a call when we were heading back so she knew to expect us. Bailey was fed and treated well. Auntie Pat and her husband snuggled with her and said she behaved well. She even sent me a photo during the day to show me how well Bailey was doing. My one and only complaint is that Bailey smelled strongly of cigarettes when we picked her up. I was planning to give her a bath that day anyway so it was not a huge problem, but I was a little worried she may have been subjected to secondhand smoke. If you are in the national park area with your fur baby and need a place to leave them while you explore, I recommend Auntie Pat. She is great!

They LET him freak out all day. One phone call I would have picked him up. Dog didn't need to be put through that torture. When we picked up the dog they said our one dog could come back but not the anxious one. When we got both dogs hime home the anxious one smelled like marajuana especially around his mouth and beard. The smaller dog smelled like weed, but not like the anxious one.... Like someone was blowing smoke in his face. Who knows what other abusive shit they did to my dog. So yes, I think they got him high... fyi pot is toxic to dogs. And don't take your babies here they are not trainers and could and would not save your pet if they have an accident at their residence. Probably won't even call or text. Don't have your babies around than nonsense.
