Absolutely horrific experience. I took my sweet, sensitive dog Cruze here, and it was a mistake I deeply regret. From the moment we arrived, I had a bad feeling. The groomer (who gave off total de Vil vibes) yanked my dog by the neck, literally dragging her inside. I should have left then. I showed clear photos of how I wanted Cruze puppy cut groomed and was assured it could be done. I paid for a full groom (bath, haircut, nail trim, anal glands) -- but that's not what we got. When I picked her up, Cruze had two long shaved spots on her belly but no hair cut done, only two nails cut out of 4 paws so barely trimmed, and she was scooting frantically -- on dirt, concrete, grass. Something was clearly wrong. I messaged the groomer right away asking what happened -- no real answer, just that HE bathed her "after the anal glands" but who is He? Within 24 hours, Cruze was bleeding heavily from her rectum -- pools of blood, bloody stool -- it was heartbreaking. A $500 emergency vet visit, antibiotics, special diet, and days of worry followed. I am beyond upset. No animal should be treated this way. I would never trust this place again. I debated on writing a review, but this should be public knowledge on the lack of service. I brought my dog in an asked if they could take the hair out of her ears because it makes her itch, to trim up the hair around her face a little, and to "take her hair down a little bit, nothing too crazy short". Her appointment was at 10:30, up until 12:50 when she was finally in the bath, she was sitting in a crate. When I finally get her back at 1:30, 3 hours later, she comes back with her hair extremely short, the hair not cut out of her ears, and the cut overall is just not fit for a golden doodle. I was very sad and disappointed to see her end result and to know she was sitting in a crate for 2 hours and 10 minutes. read more

My dog's haircut was pretty bad. She has clipper marks all over her along with spots where they completely missed when trimming. I gave specific instructions with her ears and they didn't listen at all. If you care about attention to detail and consistency, this isn't the place for you. Where I appreciate the bandanna they gave her, it was tied around her neck so tight I could hardly get a finger between to cut it off. I won't be bringing my dog back here. read more

I have taken my dogs there for years, but after today, I won't be going back. When I got there to pick up my dogs, a person who came to the counter was speaking very confrontational and rude; you could feel the tension. I was told that I needed to wait for them to call me to let me know when they're done, because if I text or call and they're busy with a dog, it's distracting and could cause a nick or something and if they take the time answering, it can put them behind. I took two of my dogs here for the first time yesterday. An older Shit zu and a young Toy Poodle, with very different personalities. But my Shit zu does better if he can stay with the poodle. I explained this, and they understood. When I picked my dogs up they seemed much happier and less traumatized than they have in the past. Especially my Shit zu. The owners are very rude especially the man. I asked when my dog would be ready and he said the end of the day. I dropped my dog off at 1 pm. That would be four hours for him to be there and me hanging around Cedar for fours hours. I was on my way to drop my dog off at the sitter to be taken care of for three weeks while on a trip. I mentioned to him that I was in my way to Vegas and that was a long time. He came out to the car and told me if I was in a hurry to come get my dog. So I did. I told them they shouldn't overbook and they shouldn't have scheduled me so I could have found another place. Now my dog is not groomed and I have to drop him off. Took my dog here to get groomed, nailed trimmed and teeth brushed since I found them on yelp and saw all the great reviews, but when I picked him up after him being there for 3 hours and took him home, I realized they didn't even trim his nails. I called to ask if they had trimmed his nails since that was the primary reason for him going to the groomers and they said they didn't. Not really sure why they didn't tell me that when I picked him up and also not sure why I paid $37 for him to get a bath since apparently thats all they did. Very dissatisfied and disappointed and will definitely be taking my business else where next time. read more

We've visited a couple of times, and we couldn't be happier! They were so patient with our puppy on her first visit, as she was nervous in the new place. Second visit, she was happy as can be. They even take time to play and/or cuddle with her. Very pleased with grooming results, too; she can be a pill when it comes to cutting her nails, and they've been very patient to work with her. Keri is so good with the dogs she grooms, it's very obvious that she cares for them. We've been going to her for the three years we've lived in Cedar City. She groomed our last dog and we even had her board him when we we had to go out of town. He got old had had heart problems so we had to put him down. Keri was just as sad as we were. On March 1 I took my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to be groomed. My usual groomer was not available so I thought I'd try someone new and a friend recently mentioned this business. I admit that my dogs had some mats because I had been under the weather and had not been able to keep up my regular brushing routine. I pointed this out to Kerry when I brought them in and said they could be cut out if they couldn't be brushed out. While my older dog was satisfactory, my younger dog has a generous and thicker coat. I was charged $5 extra because of this. When I got her home I found remaining large and small mats in at least 5 places and when I tried to brush her myself I couldn't even get the brush through her coat. My husband called the next day and I took her back. Although the groomer cut out the mats I pointed out to her, she did little more than that and I had to hold the dog myself. I am saddened and disappointed, she only addressed the places I pointed out specifically and I am still finding additional small tangled areas. She's off to her regular groomer tomorrow. I don't want it to sound like she was totally matted, just on her back legs, behind her forelegs and ears. read more
