Mandy gave Mamba, the labradoodle his haircut. She was quick & gave Mamba a beautiful cut! The appointment was on time.

The team at The Gray Dog excels at supporting all dogs. We have a medium size dog - Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Great. We take it there looking like a ragamuffin, and she comes out looking like a blue ribbon show dog! The grooming services team really knows what they're doing. We appreciate everyone there. We highly recommend The Gray Dog team. read more

Its a great friendly place to have my Chi's nails done. they take hime in quick and done in a snap! AWESOME guys, thanks! See you next time!

Their grooming services are the absolute best. We followed Ashley from another dog grooming establishment for our poodle, and we would never think of going to anyone else. She did our dogs first rescue groom and is such an expert in dealing with an anxious, traumatized dogs who have a hard time with grooming. Thank you for transforming Ash's life and for making him look so great when we bring him in every few weeks. read more

The whole Gray Dog team is amazing. They've been our go to groomer for our pups (a large and medium doodle) for a year now and they always do such an amazing job. The whole team treats their furry clients with so much care and attention. They also have some of the best arrangement of treats and high quality pet food to support your pets health, making them a convenient one stop shop. read more

I've been taking my 3 yr old dog, Nala to The Gray Dog for over 2 years. The 1st year I had Nala I tried 4-5 different Groomers in the St. George/Washington Utah area. None of them came close to the kind of grooming and overall service Nala, receives at The Gray Dog! Everyone is super nice and helpful. I go to the same Groomer, (Stephanie), every time so Nala feels comfortable there. She looks fantastic when she's done too! She used to hate grooming! *{Her very first grooming as a puppy was very traumatic for her as she was injured very badly requiring a vet visit!} But she isn't afraid when we go into The Gray Dog. She's wagging her tail every time and gets excited when Stephanie comes out! When she is done she looks fantastic! I always get comments on how cute & soft she is! People who know us always recognize when she's been groomed & compliment her! To be honest there were a couple of times that I didn't feel like she was groomed as well as I'd like. But I'll admit I am a perfectionist and pretty finicky, especially when it comes to Nala. Most of the time the mistakes are something small. So I take her back & they fix it. Sometimes she doesn't look as good overall, as other times. I don't get to upset about it though. They are so good to us & the majority of the time she looks fabulous! Besides, everyone has an off day every now and then. So I usually just let it slide, knowing it will be better next time. But I also know if I REALLY wanted a few things changed or cleaned up a bit, they would do it in a heartbeat at no charge! In fact, I think I did that once. Based on my previous experiences with other grooming places in the area, I really feel this is the best place around. I've already recommended it to several people. I've even had friends who switch from their Groomer to The Gray Dog because they weren't happy with where they were going! The Gray Dog is a great place! I really think you & your precious pooch will be very happy with everything about The Gray Dog!! read more

Easy to schedule and my dog was very relaxed when she came home. Very clean store. I highly recommend The Gray Dog!

The photos I included in this shot were taken the day she was groomed! Not two days later the day she was groomed. I do not like leaving bad reviews for anyone! I'm just very unhappy with how it was handled and you never told me you worked her into your schedule. I just asked if you had an opening. So please don't blame this on me. I wasn't the one holding scissors or she wouldn't look like that. Good luck to you and you never told me that you did touchups. You never told me that you promised anything. All you did was smiled and took my money gave me my dog, and I was out the door Even though I said I wasn't happy with her feet. You told me that she couldn't have been cut closer, although I could've taken her back and done that. This isn't gonna get prettier looking at it so good luck to you and your job in the future. I'm not sure who did the cut on Jewel but, I couldn't be more unhappy with the result and everybody asks me how I chopped her up so bad. But whatever! Good luck. read more

This was my first experience with The Gray Dog, and it was wonderful--for both me and my dog! They did an excellent job grooming my dog. They came out and visited with me regarding how I wanted him cut. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about their four-legged clients! I will clearly be going back!!!! read more

Only place I will get my dog groomed anymore. Real people working hard and happy about it!

I highly recommend The Gray Dog. I've been going to them for the last 7+ years and I've never had a bad experience. Each of my dogs have been to all of their groomers and they all do a fantastic job. They are always very welcoming when you walk through the door and they do an amazing job whenever they groom my very stubborn dogs. I have a 17-year-old Shih Tzu I take to them and they are very patient with her because she is very old. They also have amazing food and treat selections! I couldn't recommend them enough. They are just the best! read more

Our dog looked wonderful after Brittany groomed him. We were notified promptly when he was done.

they did a nice job on the dog trim! Great friendly service and it was rather quick . Ove been going there for 2 ye and have been satisfied

I had two different groomers cancel at the last minute. I reached out on yelp and received two responses. The Gray Dog was kind enough to schedule us for the next afternoon. Great service on my mini schnauzer, including the poodle feet. Thanks. Linda read more

We are full time RVers and one of our biggest challenges is finding a groomer that can take our Charlie when we come in to town. We only stay places about 4 weeks and if we don't call ahead of our next stop, most places are full and not taking any more dogs. We most often have to resort to PetSmart or Petco and we pay the same amount of money or more and the cut is never as good as the local groomers. We want to shop and spend our money with local businesses but its hard when you're not regular customer. Thankfully, we were able to jump into a spot with about 2 weeks out notice and that worked for us. What worked for us: ------------------------------------- They had a spot for us! They offered a full grooming service with nails, teeth, ears, etc.. They agreed to not 'treat' Charlie while grooming him. (he has a very sensitive stomach) They asked questions about what we wanted and confirmed the cut we were looking for (we showed the last PetSmart groomer 6 photos and told him exactly what we wanted and they still shaved off our Charlie's eyebrows???) They could do a Schnauzer cut (mostly the Schnauzer head is what we're looking for) They about 90 minute (most of the PetCo/Smart places require 3-4 hours???) They were easy to locate They had parking for our big truck (we have an F450 Dually) What did not work: ----------------------------------- Can't think of anything. They did a great job and our Charlie came back looking dapper and smelling good ;-) read more

I'm was extremely impressed with Gray Dog! The ease of the appointment, the pickup and notification for pickup, the groomer Nicole, the receptionist, the job that they did on my little Maltipoo and the business itself were Superior!! It was so impeccably clean and the employees were so kind and gentle as it was my little dog's first time at a groomer. The price was excellent as well. read more

My family and I have been doing some traveling and we have our Pomeranian with us. I normally get her groomed once a month, but it had been a few months since her last appointment. She was long overdue so I was very thankful I came across The Gray Dog while in town. They were able to get her in right away and did a wonderful job with her. I was extremely satisfied with the results and would definitely bring her back if we come through again! read more

I used to take my older dog there for grooming. He gets very anxious. Well, they basically kicked us out. They said that it took too long to groom him because he was old. I moved here from SLC and no groomer EVER complained that he took too long, they just said that they would give him breaks in-between grooming. I now have a new puppy and I will NEVER go back to Gray Dog. read more

We love it here. They take such good care of our Peanut. Thank you for doing such a good job!

Just in from New Mexico, found Grey Dog online. Decided to take a chance. One of the right decisions we've made. They did an EXCELLENT job. Very neat, The boys look sharp! I had tried to clip them myself and made a mess of them , so the groomer had that obstacle to overcome and did with flying colors. We have never seen this quality of work in 20 years. I highly recommend them. Oh yes, the prices were very reasonable also. Thank You very much Grey Dog Jim and Linda Hartle. 12-30-2022 read more

Did a very good job. We will be back in a month or so. Friendly staff and groomer. Thank you

Worst service and grooming in town. Dog came back with the same fur knots that it went in with and no fur was trimmed. When I dropped the dog off I specified certain places that needed to be trimmed and it wasn't. I don't recommend this place for anyone to take their dogs and the reason they are the only groomer in town with appointments is probably because they do such a shitty job. read more

We took our 7 month old Yorki to this location. I specifically told the lady I handed him off to that he has allergies and needed a Hyper-allergenic shampoo. She said she would for sure make note of that. When I picked him up he instantly started to show signs of distress...over the next couple of days he got worse. We ended up having two visits to the ER, then figured out it was probably the shampoo they used to wash him. Right after we bathed him he instantly started to get better. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I do feel like my instructions should have been followed through.... we are so lucky we figured it out before it was too late. read more

Brittany is an excellent groomer. She listens to you , asks questions and has is skilled. Highly recommend. Salon is clean

Nice, nice people. Very good service. Our pup is very sweet but a little skittish and they handled her like champs.

This is by far the best groomer in town. We have a basset hound whose nails are pretty tricky and they take such great care of him. Our pup is always comfortable and he always looks great. Their facility is very clean, modern, and welcoming. Their self-wash stations are very easy to use and they have great products that you can't find anywhere else. I highly recommend taking your pups here! read more
