LA Curbs left an offer taped to my trash bin out front. I filled it out and taped it back outside. After a couple of days it wasn't picked up, but I knew I needed my curb numbers painted. Fortunately there was a website on the paper and I just went online and paid to order the service. (I thought maybe I missed the person coming to pick up the paper.) About a week later, I thought I had possibly been scammed, as I know paying in advance was risky, but I didn't want anyone knocking on my door for cash after. Around then, I received a text message saying they were in the area and still working on houses and would be by in the next few days. Sure enough after a few days, I went out and checked, and the numbers on the curb had been painted perfectly. So it takes a little patience, but it gets done very well. I'd recommend them - especially if you don't need it done by tomorrow! read more

Joey does an incredible job. He takes pride in his work and is incredibly professional. i highly recommend him!

Great quality painting for our address number on the curb and excellent customer service.

I had a very good experience with this company. After signing up I was looking forward to getting the Curb done. I received a phone update that they would be coming out in the next few days after I checked in on the schedule with a phone message. They came out in the middle of the night like the Tooth Fairy and did an excellent job on the front and top of the Curb. Looks brand new. read more

First time using their service. I highly recommend them and will use them again. Once the curb was completed I received a text with a photo. I recently walked down my street and almost every one of my neighbors should be calling L.A. Curbs as their addresses look just like ours did, not visible at all. read more

LA Curbs - Painters Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

These guys are great. They've been doing the curbs in my Sherman Oaks neighborhood for years. Really nice and efficient.

Do not use this company ! He's nasty first of all , and he keeps leaving messages which are inappropriate and threatening ( since I didn't hire him and chose a different company who could arrive the next day) on my cell in text and calls ... I'm reporting his business . Warning - keep him away if you want a hassle free simple # paint job done .... Ridiculous childlike behavior for a business owner ... note : he never returned my call to begin with after 3 days, so this upset him I hired someone else ... I just read the owners comments and I have copies of hi nasty texts to me ( he even used two different numbers since I blocked him ) AND I saved his nasty voice message so this guys ----- so his comment below is not only lies but just ore of this ranting --- stay clear and hire some one who has more to do but bother potential clients who do not hired him read more

LA Curbs was great. We're happy with the work. Well priced. Would definitely recommend.

GREAT job on painting my dad's curb number... he was so happy when he came out and saw it was done... Thank you!!

It's amazing that LACurbs places the victim after every honest review the women swore at my husband. Since the company is weeks late after a job is requested they should politely knock on the door and SEE if the job is still wanted not assume many weeks later it still is Many reviewers say this read more

Joey is an amazing person with really good customer service. He showed up and got the job done and made sure it was done to our satisfaction. His pricing is very fair and his work is great. Would highly recommend! read more

LA Curbs made it easy to schedule and pay. They came out and completed the job the next day and it looks great.

Had these guys show up only to leave with my money. Paid for top and front numbers and all they gave me was new white paint and a piece of paper with the house numbers on it. They didn't even paint the numbers on! I would NOT recommended these guys. And dont come on here saying "we can't remove yelp reviews it's not our fault wah wah wah" the job was already paid for and it was never finished, I think that DOES fall on you guys. read more

Received a flyer from this company regarding painting house number on curbing in front of our house. We utilized their services before and were very happy with the results. It was easy to pay in advance online. Joey was here today and did an excellent job of updating on house numbers- both on top of curb and on street side. This makes it easier for delivery personnel or emergency services to verify the correct address. It's worth the money for peace of mind. Great customer service. read more

LA Curbs came out and repainted the street numbers for my entire block! They were so efficient and it's such in great spirits. We were playing Christmas music and it was just perfect to have their holiday cheer mixed in with it. My Amazon and DoorDash delivery folks actually complimented how my street was neatly numbered and how easy it was to find my house because of it. I can only imagine the quests they have to do finding their delivery destinations here in the Valley. Thanks again for what you do LA Curbs! read more

It took 3 weeks to get this done, but my check was cashed immediately. When the job was FINALLY done, they did a good (adequate) job, which is why I gave them two stars. I'm adding to my review because the owner of the company seems to think anyone who objects to a service provider taking 21 days to do a job promised for 2 days is entitled. The flyer offering these services said the number would be painted within 2 days of paying. He either doesn't care or doesn't know that good business requires the service be provided within the time promised. To the Owner of this company: (1) Your appropriate response to my review should have been "I'm sorry I didn't comply with our agreement." Here are a couple more suggestions: (1) If you're going to promise to do the work in 2 days do it in 2 days, or change your flyer to something like "this will be done within a month." (2) Don't cash the check until you do the job. And, (3) update the customer when you know the job isn't going to be done within the time promised. If you make those changes, I guarantee your reviews will improve. From reading the other reviews, it looks like your reviews reflect your disdain for your customers. read more

Paid for my curb to be painted and got nothing for more than 30 days! After a detailed phone call and email, still no responce. I had to contact my cc company to dispute the charge to get my money returned. Buyer beware! read more

I decided to have my curb address freshened up after years of wear and tear from scrapping tires. I received a notice taped on my bin so I decided to give LA Curbs a try. Responding to Joey, the owners comments about them sending updates. Absolutely untrue. "Updates" only coming after hounding them to find out what is going on after weeks of nothing. Then you get a date and they never show up. He does not update you as any business would. God awful. Absolutely no service whatsoever. You pay, no confirmation, no communication, you check in, the guy tells you over and over that he's the only licensed company in all of LA and that he does 1000's of curbs and can't possibly update customers. He gives a date, no one shows up or contacts you. You call to find out and get the same story about having 1000's of customers. You get another date and no one shows. You call, no one picks up or returns calls for a weeks. One month later, curb is still not painted. Quite possibly, the single worst "service" I've ever experienced. read more

Caveat emptor to Los Angelenos who pay for this service. It has been an ongoing saga to get the job done and done right. Not worth the hassle. Service has been slow and uneven. Months ago I mailed in $40 to get the top and side of the street curb painted with my house number. Several weeks passed. I noticed my neighbors' curbs had been completed. Eventually one of the two surfaces was prepped and painted white. But where were the black house numbers? I waited. Then called and spoke with the manager who to his credit picked up on a Friday at 6p. Profuse apologies and tales of recent retirements and understaffing - but not to worry, they would expedite completion of our job by the end of the following day. Nothing. I wait another week and then leave a voicemail on the following Friday: please do it this weekend or issue a refund. This Sunday I woke up and the side had indeed been painted, but not the top, despite having flagged for the manager the previous week that we had paid for both. Additionally you can see that the N for North has been painted in a noticeably smaller font size than the numbers - why? Did they lose their original stencil and buy a replacement at Michael's? This is not how it's been done in the past as you can see from the faded 110 N on the top surface. We live near 1st Street where address direction changes from N to S - so the N is actually crucial at this location to avoid confusion with 110 S a few houses away. I think they are doing the best they can understand the circumstances but there's been zero communication. They texted me once months ago with a heads-up that they would soon be in my neighborhood. I might have felt more sympathetic if LA Curbs had followed up and at least informed me of the delays. I've already spent too much time chasing them down, feel resentful and am unlikely to use them again. read more

Wow, great job, no spatters no spills, just perfect work, thank you Joey and LA Curbs.

I had my family home's curb address number painted recently and the experience was excellent. Joey showed up just a few hours after I reached out vwhich was so convenient. The numbers came out crisp, clean, and perfectly aligned! It helps to give the front of the house a polished look. The service was also very affordable compared to others I've seen advertised. Joey responded to my review saying it was false, as of course is the case with all his one star reviews. He admits in his response his service was not provided on time. I'd be wary of hiring someone who admits they took on business when they did not have capacity and only proceeded to fulfill the job after a chargeback was made against my payment. read more

Worst company ever! I paid up front and it took close to two months to get curb painted! Guy kept lying and saying they would come do the job. Finally showed up at 1:00am! I paid Joey $40 cash (my mistake but was in a hurry). It has now been 2 months, about 10 phone messages, and nada. No messages back. No offer to refund my order for no work rendered. Joey cannot be trusted. Don't trust him unless he is doing the work in front of you and then pay him. read more
