They will not bring the coffee to your table, even though they do bring food to your table. If you go back to your table without waiting the 5 minutes or whatever for them to make your coffee, they will passively-aggressively leave the coffee on the bar to get cold, and then lecture you about the cold coffee when you come back 15 minutes later asking if your coffee is done yet. Add on the fact that it's hard to get to since it's hidden away behind some buildings and a construction site waaay off a main street, and this place is hardly worth the effort to find. The only good thing about this place is the small square next to it, which has some benches and a nice view of the canal out front. It's a peaceful place to sit and people watch.

The ambiance is really cozy and nice and eclectic, definitely not overdone like some Mexican places and they have a great selection of tapas, even for me as a vegetarian! Plus, the cat that lives behind the restaurant drops by every once in a while to keep you company when the restaurant is still quiet early in the evening; adorable! I love it when restaurants here in Utrecht have "house cats". Love the seasonal selections, for me in the summer it's Empanada de Espinacas (Filo stuffed with spinach, pine nuts, soft cheese and raisins) and in winter it's the Tumbet (Spanish egg, potato and vegetable casserole) both are super delish!
