Cute little place with very good and well priced crepes. My high school french is not the best, but…read moreour server was so friendly and helpful that we made do. My husband had La Rennaise: Lardons, Champignons, Crème and O'euf. He devoured it. I went with a plain Jambon & Fromage Galette. It was good. I don't eat eggs, but I did try a bit of my husband's galette before he mixed the egg all up and it was very flavorful. Come on, anything with lardons is great! For dessert, we had a Banana and Nutella crepe with a scoop of ice cream. Very delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. I would definitely return!

Crêperie Bretonne Corentin. Excellent, excellent, I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed…read more We ordered one traditional crepe, a Jambon - O'euf - Fromage Crepe (ham, egg & cheese, €8.10), and one special, La Rennaise -- Lardons - Champignons - Crème - O'euf (bacon, mushrooms, cream & egg, €8.90). Both were delicious. For a crêperie, I think Crêperie Bretonne Corenti is pretty much perfect. Speaking no French, but making the effort, the staff were friendly, and helpful. Our service was quick, and I enjoyed watching the crepe magician prepare our crepes. Although small -- there are only 24 seats inside -- the restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, with a warm and comfortable homeyness to it. Authentic. Everything you could ask of casual dining. In the crêperie division, this is the best I have ever had. I do recommend reserving a table, or arriving just as they open, before the restaurant fills up. Five Stars.

Just had another fabulous meal here. The gallete du jour…read more-crepe of the day- was La sicilienne- mozzarella, eggplant, olives, cherry tomato with balsamic vinegar..... it was delicious. Since we were in Menton we shared La mentonaise, desert crepe which had local lemon curd and Carmel , it was sweet but in a good way. Definitely worth going back to and will probably become a regular.

When traveling to the South of France, I have my bucket list of foods I absolutely must have: Socca…read more(a chickpea pancake) with my coffee one morning, Salade Nicoise and Croque Monsieur for lunch, Loup, Dorade & Lotte for dinner, and if possible Tarte Tatin for dessert. And at some point during my visit I want a good crepe. While there are numerous choices in Menton (where I normally stay), I always visit the Creperie St. Michel. Creperie St. Michel specializes in Galettes au Sarrasin, which are buckwheat crepes, a specialty of Brittany. I have visited this restaurant numerous times over the past 10 years and have never had a bad meal. In fact, St. Michel is one of my standby restaurants when I'm in the area. While the dessert crepes look fantastic, I usually stick with just one of the entrée crepes. Pretty much any entree crepe with the house wine makes for a delicious and quite reasonable meal. My favorite is the L'Hindira, tender Tandoori Chicken with a side salad. Also, recommended is L'Italienne (which is basically an Insalata Caprese on a top of a buckwheat crepe), La Forestière (ham, cheese & mushrooms with crème fresh) and Magret de Canard (duck with either mushrooms or confit d'oignons). Not only was service professional, friendly and courteous, but our waitress actually remembered me from my previous visit. The atmosphere and ambiance inside is charming and weather-permitting, there are a few outside tables on the quiet street in front of the restaurant. Definitely recommended.

Their crepes are like none I've had before. Whisper thin. Incredibly flavorful and a huge variety. I had the Figuette ~ goat cheese and pork ... it was huge, scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I wanted to try a desert crepe but was too full.

Quite possibly the best crepes in nice, but the place had an air of Fawlty Towers service about it…read more First up they served with the wrong type of cider (I wanted dry and got sweet). And instead of the bottle and two glasses I got just two glasses of cider. Then when my friend who speaks French fluently complained we got another whole bottle. Some of this can be put down to language problems. Service was very slow despite the capacity of the restaurant only been 15 seats inside and 8 outside. For the main "course" I ordered a rather tasty-sounding crepe suzette with ice cream and Cointreau. Instead I was served something with marmalade. And what's more, I really did expect it to arriving aflame to my table. It was a major disappoint, but I ate it anyway ;) A group of 8 or so tourists were turned away from the restaurant half an hour before closing, presumably because the waitress couldn't cope. I wouldn't really advise anyone to go there unless the place is pretty much empty and make sure they take your order down in writing.
