This place had been recommended by a couple of friends, but we had no idea how good it would be. The menu offers a large selection of savory crepes; I think they also had sweet, but we didn't look at those.
We ended up going for dinner twice in less than a week, and we got six different crepes. These aren't street crepes that taste and look fried (not that that's a bad thing!). They seem fresh and less greasy. The first time around, I got a ratatouille crepe, which was excellent. My wife got a curry crepe, and she loved it. They had other meat, seafood, cheeses, fun names and ingredients that you wouldn't even think of.
The location is at the far east end of the tourist strip, so it's a little less crazy than just a couple of blocks away. The entrance is a bit hidden even though it's just off the street. It's in a cellar, which keeps it cooler, although it can get crowded quickly. We didn't have reservations, but we showed up right when it opened and found out that it fills up quickly.
The prices are cheap for the size and quality of the crepes: everything runs from about $3 to $7. Just remember: cash only! read more
