    Nutella Crepe

This place is so good! A friend of mine got the Nutella one and she called it "Nutella heaven" and I got the pesto and chicken one, which was so good I couldn't even take a picture. The workers were super nice and I talked to them a bit! The inside is nice and a good area to get work done while eating a meal :)

I might not have understood the item but the Crepe Suzette was underwhelming and overall disappointing. The Crepe was too thick, the orange marmalade didn't pair well with the thick chewiness of the Crepe. They also poured some kind of sauce on top of it that tasted like alcohol (I'm not sure if that's basically what it was or if it was supposed to mimic that) however, it ruined the whole crepe including the whipped cream that was on top of it. Next time, I'm getting a different crepe. Maybe a savory one that my friend recommended. The cashier also forgot to ask me if I was ok with the extra charge for whipped cream. I think they were in training because after I paid, a guy whispered to the cashier telling them to do so. The person behind me was asked if they were ok with the add on.

Even before I started chasing magic curry carts, amuse bouche carts and creme brulee carts, there was my very first food cart. I was still a student at Davis, part of a normal routine when I was pulling an all nighter was work through the night on campus in Walker hall, usually after making my deadlines, I would reward myself by making my way over to the Silo grab a cup of coffee, and got to the crepe cart, at this station it's different from the campus, he was actually with another company, so I didn't have some college student making my crepe. The one guy I really liked was this very friendly frenchman. (michael) He would always greet me warmly with a smile, and always knew I was coming for his crepe suzette, I loved the zesty aroma of the oranges, the sweetness of the sugar encased in a thin but fluffy crepe that is slowly absorbing the carmelly, sweet smokeyness from the Grand Marnier that he generously splashes on. Each bite was almost a fluffy cloud of heaven, and almost made me forgot all the stress I was dealing with moments earlier. A feeling of warm content washes over my body and maybe from the sleep deprivation, or maybe it's the booze, or even a combination of the too, still having this little nightcap before I go to bed feels great. And yes I am aware it's only 1:00 pm... These days, while my all-nighters have almost come to an end, my cravings for another crepe suzette has not. Im sure it may taste different now, compared to how Im remembering it, still I won't forget my first food cart experience.

Had the turkey panini and it was delicious! Good portions and not too pricey! Will definitely be returning again soon.

Kathmandu with mango chutney is what I ordered. I would give this place a 3.5 but I'm sticking with 3 because yelp says 3 is "A-ok" and I like this place but i'm not a real fan because I don't really come back that often. The menu items taste exactly like what they sound, and you dont get anymore than that. That is a good and bad thing, since they have no super unique thing to their crepes that get you hooked or coming back solely to them. I enjoy how they do have wheat crepe as an option, and the flavor of the crepes are good. You get a good balance of flavors. It's a good place for students to get crepes if they do not want to talk to crepeville.

My second year at Davis and I've not been to a lot of crepe places here. Situated at Silo, it is close to where my classes are. I usually come here to get a quick bite and of course their dessert crepe. I usually order Nutella banana crepe. The crepe is pretty good and the price is around $4-$10. If you have Aggie cash, you can get 10% off!! No Aggie cash? You can top up at Silo Market

I love that the chef is actually from France and he is fun to chat with in French! Best crepes I have had in America. This place is a priority whenever I am in Davis or on campus!

This location is centrally located on campus at the silo. The Crepes are very filling and they have a variety of different fillings and options for veggie lovers as well. I ordered the Kathmandu crepe , it has chicken, mushrooms, and topped with 2 sauces , a curry sauce and a sweet sauce. This is my favorite crepe here that I've tried, the sauce is not too sweet , perfect combo to eat with the crepe . The size of the Crepes are decent , well your money's worth ~7 dollars and they make it fresh in front of you as you wait , fresh warm Crepes are guaranteed ! The staff is very friendly , during school the line gets kind of long and it's about a 5-10 minute wait for the food depending on how busy they are. They tend to close early around 4pm , best advice is to go around 1 or 2 when the lunch time rush has calmed down .

Delicious savory and sweet crepes, best if eaten on site (eg the side salad wilts on the way home). Plenty of bicycle parking nearby.

Yes, parking can be tough when the students come back, but that's how it always is in Davis. The food here is great! I've had several of their savory crepes and I love them all whereas my cousin always gets one of their sweet crepes. This time I tried the "savory crepe" which had shrimp, pesto, Parmesan, bell peppers, and I think mushrooms if I remember correctly. I LOVED it. So delicious! And so much food! It came with a "half salad" which I got to choose, so I chose the Fuji salad, it was huge! It was the size of a regular salad! All of this for $19. I also got the ginger shot mixed in carrot juice which I loved. You order at the counter and then receive a number and choose your own table, then they bring your order to you when you are ready. While their salads are not cheap, they are a much better value than other non-chain restaurants that serve salads because of their top quality ingredients and the sheer size. Initially wanted to do a half sandwich and half salad my dining partner and I each one is separate types of salads, but then I saw the steak sandwich and they did not do the half steak sandwich with a half salad so we ordered a full salad and order the steak sandwich where we each had a giant half chicken, arugula, salad, and large halves of steak sandwich, and we also got our second choice of salad Fugi Apple with candied walnuts by paying a four dollar upgrade to having it instead of the french fries. They do substitute a plain dinner side salad for the fries free of charge , but I wanted the special Fugi salad, which is so so good. The amount of high-quality chicken on the arugula salad was truly impressive, and the super soft giant slice of focaccia made the salad quite the meal! Initially, I was a little disappointed to see that the steak wasn't a whole steak and was sliced into three slices, but after I tasted it, it tasted like the most tender awesome steak without any fat or grizzle that a whole steak often comes with and it wasn't anything like a Philly cheesesteak which is something I don't like. So I was super happy with the steak sandwich. Cafe Dantorels is an order at the counter and take your number and be seated. Serve your own water, kind of place which saves on staff and seems to be quite efficient. Also allows for people that are dining with other people where they don't want to have one bill they can easily just pay for their own meal and not have a be awkward. The interior is inviting and there's a giant patio in the back that's covered for a large groups and then there's quaint seating around the exterior of the restaurant, which is my favorite. The plants have been growing up. There's lovely olive treason and shrubs. I really enjoy eating at this restaurant. Can't wait to come back for the wonderful crêpes.

The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.

Before my big move to Washington, I made one last visit in February 2026 with some friends because I knew I had to eat here one more time before leaving. Since then, I still haven't found another crepe place that compares. If you want crepes, they absolutely have your back. I never bothered ordering much else because once I found my favorite, I stayed loyal to it every single visit! The spinach and crab crepe on spinach batter. SO good every time. They also offer gluten-free crepe options, which is nice, but personally the spinach batter was unbeatable for me. Now appetizers?? Escargot and French onion soup all the way, baby! The escargot was plump and soaked in buttery oil goodness, and the French onion soup was savory, cheesy, rich, and super filling. Writing this review is making me hungry all over again. My family has tried the French toast before and thought it adequate. Simple, classic, and exactly what you'd expect from French toast. No complaints there. The restaurant itself has a cozy, humble atmosphere with paintings decorating the walls, and there's a decent amount of seating. Parking can be a little tight since it's a one-way parking lot situation, but manageable. We usually entered through the main building entrance that connects with the neighboring cantina restaurant, though there's also an outside patio entrance. Service is where the experience could be a little hit or miss, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I often preferred takeout because my order would usually be ready right when I arrived. Dine-in service depended heavily on how busy they were and what time of day you visited. Sometimes the servers were attentive and checked in frequently, while other times it could take awhile to flag someone down. Oddly enough, I noticed they seemed more attentive when I dined solo, probably because I usually came during quieter weekday mornings. I will say though, Danielle's Creperie holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me, especially with friends/family. It will always be one of my favorite comfort breakfast spots.

One and Done - Disappointing Experience at Midtown Crepes…read more We won't be going back to Midtown Crepes after a truly frustrating experience. The food was disappointing across the board, but what really sealed it was the complete lack of communication from the kitchen. They substituted two different sauces for sausage gravy without telling us -- one of them was a mushroom sauce poured all over my wife's crepe, which she specifically asked to have on the side. She hates mushrooms, and her meal was completely ruined. The "smothered beignets" came drenched in a strange white wine sauce -- again, no warning or explanation. My mother-in-law's crepe had a bunch of extra ingredients that weren't listed on the menu, and it completely threw off the dish and ruined her breakfast as well. The crepes themselves were thick and rubbery, more like tortillas than the thin, delicate crepes you'd expect. We ordered regular beignets as a starter, but they didn't arrive until after the rest of the meals, making them feel like an afterthought. To top it off, my sister-in-law's pancakes were ice cold -- so much so they wouldn't even melt the butter. Service was just as underwhelming. It took our waitress three separate visits to remember lemons for our water. No apologies, no explanations -- just slow and inattentive. There are too many great places to eat in Stockton to waste a meal here. Midtown Crepes seriously missed the mark.
