Best thing here is the seafood. I love the ceviche de pescado its amazing. Burritos are pretty good too. Theres a reason this place is ALWAYS busy. This ain't no mediocre taqueria like most. Also bring cash they dont take cards. read more

This is the go to place for Mexican food in Tracy. I used to enjoy Taqueria La Mexicana, but I have not enjoyed the food there for quite some time. I have enjoyed everything I've eaten at La Costa, especially the beef tongue tacos. I think this as close to authentic as you can find in this area. read more

We only ever got carne asada tacos and cheese quesadillas here, so that's all I can give a review about, but we're fans. Not the absolute best tacos I've ever had, but they were good enough to make this our go-to taco stop in Tracy. We tried eating inside once or twice, but once it smelled strongly of cleaning solution and another time it was infested with flies, so I wouldn't advise doing that. But eating outside works great as does taking it to go. The food is always made fast and the lines move quickly. Good eats! read more

I read all of the reviews and got myself all excited to try this place out. It was ok. They messed up my burrito though. I asked for it plain without sourcream, onions etc and they did a good job leaving my kids bean n cheese burrito plain but they loaded mine up with all of the stuff....so I didn't like it. First impressions mean a lot. I guess I will have to speak more slowly and clearly to get a good burrito here. I'm moving away from Tracy soon and I doubt I will visit this place again before I do.. read more

La Costa by far is my favorite place I think I could eat here everyday! I really dont know why I ever try a nother taquaria I am never as pleased with my food as I am when I came here. I think the best thing is there carne asada taco's or burrito's. Every La Costa I have been to has been great! The only thing missing is the chips n salsa, The just started to have them at the Oakdale one so hopefully they will be come here soon! read more

Great food, great price...what's not to like? My only complaint....sometimes the lines are REALLY long! But that's just how good it is!

My husband loves my cooking! On the weekends, we're both so busy running here and there and I'm sometimes gone when he's ready to eat. I can just see him rubbing his hands together as he sneaks over to La Costa almost every Saturday or Sunday to get his favorite burrito. He loves that place!!! Good food. NIce outdoor seating at the Grant Line location (however not a great neighborhood). They are not really a bargain price wise any more. As some other people have mentioned, they don't offer free chips and salsa. And they only take cash. If you're in the area and have cash, fine. Otherwise I would not drive out of my way to go there. There are a ton of decent Mexican places in Tracy. Given the prices, La Costa doesn't really stand out any more. read more

Cheap Taqueria food at it's finest. Cheap, fast, and wonderful. They're cash only, but it's worth it to swing by an ATM on the way. All of their meats are very flavorful, and they offer Burritos, Tortas, Tacos, Quesadillas + much more that doesn't come to mind right now. This place is the bomb! Really excellent burritos and the shrimp cocktail (I'm sure they call it something in Spanish I can't remember) was amazing.... Full of big shrimp! It's an outdoor spot across from the high school. We've been twice now and both times were great. They do have a small area for indoor seating but, we prefer to sit outside. The service is fast and the food is good and so far, we haven't found a better burrito in town... even at some of the other Mexican food establishments that tout their fancy sauces and such. We prefer this place hands down. We are new to the area and were told about this place from the locals. It hasn't disappointed us so far. Pollo Burritos or Carne Asada... DELICIOUS!!! If you are looking for the cleanest place in town and fancy service, keep going. But, if you want a good old fashioned down and dirty good burrito, then, this is the place! Ole! **BAD Experience** Ordered a vegetarian burrito to go, drove home to mountain house (25 minutes away) when I got home, I took a bite into my burrito which to my surprise was loaded with just beef. I drove back to the restaurant with two receipts showing my purchase and I kindly explained to the abrasive heavier-set man who runs the register about how I ordered a veggie burrito but when I got home I realized I was given an all beef burrito... The man then told me that it was my fault because I grabbed the wrong order and I needed to bring the burrito back in order for them to make me a new one without cost. Dumb me didn't bring the burrito along however I did have two receipts in hand that clearly showed veggie burrito. One receipt was given to me when I paid and the second receipt was placed in my bag with the burrito. As I showed the man the receipts he then became extremely argumentative at that point so I threw my hands up and said hell with it because who likes confrontation...
