Normally, I would have complained to Doordash, but I was hesitant to. I have had food from Los Porto's about 100 times and this was the first time I was unhappy. Everything else I've had has arrived hot. Too hot sometimes. My enchiladas, tacos, chimichangas, quesadillas, and fajitas have been perfect. My cerviche has been on point. I'm betting most other menu items are. But even good restaurants have a dud or two. This is it. The beef patty was hard. The condiments were non-existent. The toppings, though fresh, were cut for things like flautas. If you order from there or visit, and you should, stick to the specials and staples. I have found good burgers in strange places, just not here. The stars are for all my other meals. Recommended.

As someone that enjoys heat, the green salsa definitely packed an unexpected punch. The tortillas are clearly handmade, which was a plus for sure. When you're heading down 11th toward Manteca, keep your head on a swivel, as the truck is easy to miss at 45-50mph.

Ahh La Costa! I have been meaning to write this review for a long time! Where to start... Everything on this menu is superb. I usually stick to the Carne Asada or Pollo dishes which, whether in tacos or burritos, are delicious. The prices are fair, though a little higher than i once remember. No doubt that damn McDonald has something to do with it. La Costa has a great location and I'm jealous of all the school kids that have this restaurant right next to them. Try the Carne Asada BURRITO! Muy Bien Add sour cream and avocado for a small charge and you wont be let down! read more

This is the place to go in high school. If you attend the high school across the street and have not had La Costa, you are not a member of the community. :P The best time to go is when business is slow. They are more carefuly about their burritos, because a few times I have gotten very fatty meat in my burrito during lunch times. I stick to the bean, cheese, and rice. The burritos are huge and you can tell the tortillas are hand made. Not expensive at all...skip the local Taco Bell and head over to La Costa to get a real taste of the Mexican side of Tracy. read more

I used to love em, but I could literally poor the beans out of my burrito in to a cup and drink it! Not that I would, but you get what im saying. Lucky for them the tacos are still a hit and a decent price. Always ask for extra jalapenos and salsa. read more

To make matters worse, the beer prices were significantly higher than other restaurants in Tracy, which made the overall experience feel even more overpriced. I don't mind paying for good food and service, but this place didn't deliver on either. I hope they can improve both their quality and customer service moving forward.
