On my final night in Madrid, I moved to a hotel closer to the airport so I would not have any commute issues in the am. I walked around the area looking for something good to eat for lunch as the hotel options seemed pretty basic. This place looked pretty interesting and was pretty open allowing the air from outside to come in soI figured this is where I needed to be. They have an outside seating area, but I figured I would eat inside as they had TVs in there.
I noticed they brew their own beer here so I decided to have a couple of pints. Pretty decent brews as they had stuff that I am sure is Spain specific. Menu options looked great and it was hard to choose but I opted for the Solomillo Iberico Con Salsa De Mostaza Dulce which is basically Iberian Sirloin with sweet mustard sauce on top of bread. Very good piece of meat and quite tender. The sweet mustard sauce definitely set it off...pretty damn good! Peeps behind the bar were very cool and made sure I was all good! read more
