We started walking towards the entrance when a worker saw us and asked how many - we said 2 and were immediately seated at an outdoor table. It wasn't until after we sat and got settled that I noticed a short line on the left hand side of the wall. I felt bad, thinking we had cut a line, but if the worker seated us, I figured maybe those people had larger parties and couldn't be seated? Either way, I guess check to see if there's a line! Really simple menu but we knew what we wanted - a Margherita Pizza and a Tiramisu. They asked if we wanted it to be halved and we were glad they offered it so we wouldn't have to struggle as much! You're given a fork and knife here so we ate with them rather than picking up a slice. Pizza was great, loved the chewy crust that Neopolitan pizzas have. Tiramisu was pretty good too, although definitely had better. They also gave us free meloncello shots at the end which was fun!

Also, there was a bit of a weight when we got there, but it actually grew to almost a dozen people. They see people quickly so the turnover is pretty fast and you don't wait long. Since I was concerned about limited menu, those fears were allayed when the Waiter takes your order - he lets you know about the four or five other ones that are not on the menu that are all sounding great So we picked 'chef special' (they pick for you) and a white pizza. The service was pretty quick, and the pizza comes out right away Obviously with such high turnover, they have figured out the formula for delicious pizza. They nailed the crust as well as all the ingredients. Really delicious. The toilet facilities definitely need a lot of help. That was my only real comment about the atmosphere. It's very basic, you sit at basic tables. They seemed to all be helpful

Seated very quickly, nice clean restaurant and nice waiters although language barrier made ordering a bit clunky. My wife got the ravioli while my friend and I got the bolognese lasagna. My wife said the ravioli was good not great and our lasagna was very tasty but room temperature. I like my food hot. The other person at our table got salmon and it was way overcooked and very tough. Not sure why our other party got Salmon at an Italian restaurant in Italy but to each his own. If you want a glass of wine you only have two choices, white wine and red wine. No other available. This is probably because the restaurant doesn't carry large inventories of wine due to their small size and cost. Overall no way is this above an average restaurant. It's just okay. Heat up your lasagna better, teach your chef how to cook Salmon and expand your glasses of wine selections.

Service is no frills but extremely fast which we definitely appreciated. I would recommend making reservations as they start filling up literally 10 min after they open at 7:30 pm for dinner. If you are craving Neopolitan pizza and located by the Duomo, definitely make a trip here! We came back after 3.5 years for our last dinner this trip to Milan.

You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. I would give them four stars but unusual to Italian tradition, they rushed us out and I noticed they did not do this to others. Our money and patronage is just as good. Also, we were served all courses all at once. And it was not crowded and it was not close to closing time. The server also snuffed at us when we first sat down at a table for four - the place was not crowded by the way. So he forced us to sit at a table for two which is fine had he served our courses in traditional order and fashion. But he did not. Be basically shoved four plates on our table - bread, salad, pasta course one, another dish course two oh and our wine bowls. All on a tiny table for two. And he was unapologetic about it. That was absolutely ridiculous. Again the only reason I do not give this less stars is because the food was worth it but it's no excuse to be rude and treat customers in this way.
