Flavor is absolutely unmatched and the portions are huge, but dropping one star because the interior needs a little more aesthetic energy.

You walk in and there are numbered counters where you order your food based on type, there is signage so don't be intimidated. If you're ordering takeout, just put it on a tray and the cashier will bag it for you along with any beverages or sauces you so desire. They also have a huge dining area with booths and plenty of seating. The staff was super friendly and helpful; nobody was an asshole. We ordered Adobada Vampiro and Adobada Quesadillas and the pork was really good, they weren't stingy at all, would definitely be returning next time we do a staycation.

Ever since I moved here everyone was telling me I had to go to this taco joint. Now being a big fan…read moreof tacos, I looked for opportunities to go there but never was able to make it. And when I did try to go there the parking lot was so full. I couldn't find a place to park. But it worked out in my favor that today was the day for me to try tacos El Gordo. Now I had heard about this place and how they are jam-packed 24/7, and I can see why you walk in and the place is hustling and bustling like a big cafeteria. Cafeteria you stand in line walk up to the counter where the guys are slinging tortillas and chopping up meat like there's no end in sight. You place your order they give you your food. You go to the cashier and sit down to enjoy. People behind the counter were very perfunctory, like they knew they had a million tacos to serve that day. I get it, but a little friendliness would go a long way. The ladies at the cashier place were very nice, paid for my tacos and sat down to enjoy. I'm not going to lie, these are some damn good tacos. Now. I have had numerous tacos here in Las Vegas, but tacos El Gordo? This is exactly what I would imagine. Getting tacos in Mexico would be like. Super tasty, the meat is very flavorful and they put on just the right amount of onions, cilantro and a little bit of guacamole to top it off. Bottom line? I am so glad I got to go and this will not be my last time. The only thing is I would probably direct deposit my checks here and just take the money out in tacos. Run, don't walk to get your taco fix on here!

I'm visiting Las Vegas from across the country, and I have to say that Lixuan at Nacho Daddy made…read moremy visit even more enjoyable. Her service was truly exceptional. From the beginning, she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. What impressed me most was how she anticipated my needs without me having to ask. She took the time to explain the menu, walk me through my options, and make sure I understood what I was ordering. She never made me feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. You can tell when someone is simply doing their job versus when someone genuinely cares about providing a great experience. Lixuan went above and beyond. Her personality, patience, attention to detail, and professionalism really stood out to me. I've traveled a long way to visit Las Vegas, and experiences like this are what make a trip memorable. Lixuan's service was beyond superior -- it was exceptional. Nacho Daddy is very fortunate to have someone like her representing the restaurant. I hope management recognizes what an asset she is to the team. Thank you, Lixuan, for taking such great care of me and making my experience at Nacho Daddy one I'll remember!

It's convenient located near the Elara / Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and the Miracle Mile Shops where we were staying. We enjoyed all of the food we tried, but our personal favorites were the nachos and Mexican pizza. The Filet Mignon Nachos were amazing! Filling and flavorful with every bite. We also really enjoyed the Mexican pizza as well. Both were large portions and we couldn't finish the both of them in one sitting. We also tried the Ultimate Chicken Burrito and the American Tacos during our second visit. Both were good. The space is really big with plenty of seating and there was no wait during each of our visits. Service was timely. Staff was helpful and pleasant. If you're in the area, you should definitely check them out. We look forward to visiting again!

What a great meal at Toca Madera!…read more My wife was supposed to join me for dinner, but at the last minute I ended up dining alone. When I arrived and told them it would just be one, they initially wanted to seat me at the bar. I really wanted a table, and fortunately they accommodated me. I'm glad they did, because I had a terrific experience from start to finish. Even the chips and salsa were a standout. Such a basic thing, but these were noticeably better than what you get at most Mexican restaurants. The chips were light and crisp, and the salsa was fresh, unique and just plain yummy. I started with the watermelon margarita. Loved the presentation, the sweetness and how easy it was to drink. So easy, in fact, that I had two. From the starters, the Hamachi was calling my name. Loved the combination of flavors, especially the truffle ponzu and touch of heat. I had read great things about the branzino and it lived up to the hype. The whole fish was deboned and wood-fired, and it was excellent. But the biggest surprise may have been the street corn. I've had street corn at a lot of restaurants, and this was undoubtedly the best I've ever had. WOW. I also ordered the truffle Manchego fries. Very tasty, but be warned: the portion is huge. Easily enough for two or three people, especially if you're ordering other dishes. I barely made a dent in them. For dessert, the strawberry tres leches was amazing. Light, sweet and a perfect finish to the meal. My only regret was not ordering a second one. And a special shout-out to my server, Mariah. She was a rock star. Dining alone can sometimes feel a little awkward or rushed, but she made the entire experience enjoyable and made a terrific evening even better. I was in and out in about 45 minutes, which was perfect for me that night, but I never felt rushed. Toca Madera has a beautiful, high-energy atmosphere, but most importantly, the food delivered. I also didn't find it nearly as expensive as I expected for this type of restaurant in Las Vegas. But it can get noisy. How much did I enjoy it? I'm coming back for my second meal on Friday!
