It was noticeably more expensive than expected. I typically do a good job having a roundabout idea of what we're spending when we order, so I knew something was up. It wasn't until after we asked for an itemized copy of the receipt (that we had to ask someone else for), that we saw that she included gratuity in the total without saying anything about it. I'm glad I noticed because I could have easily given double gratuity without even knowing I was doing so. I was a bit frustrated with that aspect of the experience. The food was mostly good. We ordered the bbq shrimp as an appetizer - their creole bbq sauce was AMAZING! I couldn't get enough. I got their smash burger as an entree. Not the best burger I've ever had but it was definitely pretty good. My wife got the bolognese which had absolutely too much pepper. It was mostly all you could taste in each bite.
