Al pastor and bistec tacos on corn.
Danny A.

I was getting some car work done nearby, and was strolling down to the taqueria at the top of the hill when this place caught my eye. Great tacos - I tried the pastor and bistec and both were fresh/hot with handmade tortillas and 3 salsas. I love pineapple with my pastor and one of the salsas was fresh pineapple, cucumber and orange bell pepper (or so I thought, it was actually fresh habanero and it lit me up). The other 2 were their red and green salsas, both fairly spicy, green a little less so. Only $6 for 2 tacos and a water bottle. They have 4 tables for 4 under a shaded canopy.

Shiv, the chef on board, recommended three meat bowl. I choose jerk, tikka and Mediterranean flavored chicken. It truly was an explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth. Each piece of chicken was individually flavored with generous portions. I can also taste the finely chopped onions, soft yet plump tomatoes, sour cream and another secret sauce. All of these meats, vegetables and sauces topped a bed of fluffy rice. My taste buds were dancing! Shiv was super kind and accomodating. There is covered seating near the food truck. They have a very unique food concept. You can buy chips at the gas station and they will add toppings from the food truck, I.e. like a Dorito or Frito pie with a spice tip. Give Krave Kitchen a try!

Shiv was incredible and so, so, so sweet. He asked us for our feedback multiple times and even gave us some samples of their berry smoothie, which is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend getting Doritos nachos or the hot fries as your bags because both offered great bases. If you can't eat spicy, ask for more white sauce and none of the spicy sauce. I'd also recommend asking for more tomatoes. The chicken schwawrma + gyro was a fantastic combination, and there is so much food for just $12. I highly, highly, highly recommend coming to krave. They open late, and seriously, Shiv is the sweetest. Please support local businesses!

Nothing else really comes close. The chicken is excellent, but the fries deserve a special mention, they're perfectly crispy and coated in a cheesy, spiced seasoning that's completely unique and insanely good. I've never had fries like these before. There's plenty of parking, and the area is usually quiet unless the nearby brewery has live music. The owners seem nice as well. Seating isn't great, so I usually end up eating in my car, but it's absolutely worth it. HIGHLY recommend if you're a fried chicken fan.

Most of the flavor is on the outside though and because the chicken is so juicy and big the crust falls off. The chicken sand which is HUGE. There is so much meat and the ratio seems really off. The bread gets really soggy fast but the coleslaw and pickles are a nice addition. The flavors are really solid. The medium is the perfect spice for me. The tenders are okay, since I got mild it wasn't really flavorful and the dang sauce isn't very flavorful either. Food was made to order because it was HOT. The brewery area is very cute and fun but the parking situation is not great.

I'm sure there was more street parking around but I didn't check. I liked the unassuming, "hole in the wall" look because you know the food is going to be phenomenal. I enjoyed their paper bag neon colored wall art, especially the ice-y one ;) The suadero and al pastor were so good that I ordered even more after the first round. Unfortunately, the guava aguas frescas was not for me. Still holding hope I find a flavor I like! My friend also got the tinga de pollo and she loved it! Not dry at all. The chef who was calling out the orders is obviously a very fun dude and I'm sure he makes his co-workers life fun at the restaurant lol TL;DR GREAT TACOS - VAMOS AHORA POR FAVOR

It was loud inside, kinda hard to hear people at the same table, good thing they do announce your order with a speaker. I appreciate all the cute artwork on the paper bags around the restaurants. Their merch was also cute.
