"Encocado de pescado" is Ecuadorian recipe of cooked fish in a coconut sauce. I have been told this dish is usually made with corvina (sea bass sort). But in Lausanne at La Caleta they serve it with shrimps, rice and fried ripe plantains bananas. Food was tasty, but I didn't like overcooked mushy rice! Most restaurant guests were Hispanics. Waitress spoke Spanish to customers and I was greeted with "hola". Service was correct. However restaurant interior decoration is boring and chaotic: Cheap tables with shabby chairs, a large screen TV "news channel was running", some ethnic paintings and national flag of Ecuador!
