Friendliest people around! I moved to Pomona about three months ago! Love their customer service! Everything is fresh!!! From the fruits, vegetables and most importantly their meat!

Another positive experience today during my quick run to the market. I noticed that they have the cute little shopping carts. Perfect for me since I walked in carrying my baby! Picked up some meat, eggs, honey, and a bite to eat from their food stand in the back. I stopped and chatted with the owner's son and got to know how the store is run as far as products and availability. I really want to try their Barbacoa next. I liked their assorted variety of spices on the wall. Will stock up next time I swing by. Girl at the counter was friendly. She gave me a free sour cream for my purchase. I thought that was pretty cool!

    Hardly no hominy. Sad !!

This place is a small place between a gas station and a dance club. Limited parking in the front. Lots of parking in the back. You will always find this place busy. This place is well know for their meat and produce. Its great for that purpose ONLY. Thats the only reason I can't give them zero stars. However their menudo SUCKS. My photos will speak volumes. It leaves a huge aftertaste that sticks with you. They fill it to the brim with the meats but hardly no hominy. It didn't taste clean. Clean menudo doesn't leave aftertaste this bad. The chili they give you in the mini containers looks old and like crap as seen in the photos. There was only one place for this menudo.... The grave as seen in my photo. Im quite embarrassed to say this was made by Mexicans. If you have someone that has never tried menudo, don't give them this menudo. I'm sorry to say, the can menudo is 100 times better than this garbage. This is however your go-to place for BBQing beef, steaks and fresh Mexican produce.

Close up of the asada tacos

The food here was unbelievably good. It sufficed my infinite taco craving immediately. The asada had an amazing flavor - grilled and still moist. I'm a weird sucker for bean and cheese burritos. I confirm, this place has good ones. They use a good amount of cheese and came with some tasty salsa. The tacos are slightly larger then regular street tacos. My friend ordered a torta. I don't even like tortas but his was absolutely delicious and perfect. They use thinner bread then most people use, which I like a lot because it's easier to eat and the bread doesn't shade out all the other flavors. I don't speak Spanish but the employees were still very nice. As a store it's minimal. But the hot food is perfect. Highly recommend.

Small convenience store with Spanish labels. Everything very cheap and very good. The people are also very nice and accepts EBT.

The pastor de pollo was good, but the carne asada left something to be desired.

NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I SET FOOT IN HERE AGAIN-…read more I cannot believe the way I was treated for trying to walk to the counter to buy a few buzz balls at around 10 pm from Gina. I don't know if it was a power trip she was on or if she was having a bad day or what but there is a tiny sign above the counter where you pay that states' " after 6pm please leave Id with cashier before going to chose alcohol from the store". Well I have never been in this store before, nor have I ever heard such a ridiculous rule. I have never even heard anything close to that rule and had I known about it I would have gladly left my ID WHILE GOING TK SELECT alcohol to drink. But I get to the cashier to with the drinks and she starts to give me attitude followed by "so I can't sell this to you".... I was in shock, it was a honest mistake and one that obviously had nothing to do with me as this rule was put into place to stop theft and I was at the counter about to make a purchase. So long story short.... She then tells me to leave the store and refused to sell me the alcohol. I ask for her manager, first she won't tell me who the manager is and then tells me the managers name is Valarie and she will be there in the morning. I won't avoid this location at all costs.... Homeless people surround the entire location as do people selling drugs and people looking to rob you or your car the second you step away from it. Believe me or don't. Go see for yourself and you will.

I rolled in this weekend, hyped for my ritual football pizza haul--custom-loaded beauties exactly how I like 'em, with that killer garlic sauce and maybe a cult-classic Hawaiian for good measure. What do I get? Mild shock? Try full-blown betrayal. The entire pizza section? Demolished. Custom orders? Gone. Those awesome grinder sandwiches? Vanished like they never existed. Now it's just sad, pre-made frozen hockey pucks thawed out by two employees whose thrilling job is... pulling boxes from the freezer and slapping 'em in the oven. No unbaked take-home option anymore--because why give customers choices when you can force-feed us mediocrity? Zero customization, zero flavor, toppings so mysterious I couldn't tell if it was pepperoni or cardboard. And that excellent garlic sauce? Axed. Hawaiian? Eradicated, like it personally offended the boardroom. This tastes like the kind of "pizza" you'd approve in a shiny office meeting while ignoring every employee and customer screaming otherwise. You didn't ask us what we wanted--you McDonald 's-ified one of the last true gems in your stores. Shame on you, WinCo execs. You've turned a great deal into a total waste of money and time. I'll be taking my football feasts (and the rest of my grocery budget) elsewhere. Enjoy those cost savings while your deli slowly dies. What a wild, terrible, customer-hating change. Do better--or at least pretend to listen.

Perfect lunch items. They also have good specials on Rotisserie or Fried Chicken. Prices are affordable. You can use your debit card at checkout, but not credit cards FYI.
