First time there and I'll definitely be back for more. I stuck to pretty classic fare, the West Coast Burger and Onion Rings. I'll try the LA Burger next. Some have commented that the patties are a little on the thin side. I'm not going to say they're wrong, but I was able to get my burger, Onion rings, and drink for just under 10 Bucks. I'll take a slightly less substantial burger to get this kind of Quality at that low of a price. Kinda have to look for it though. So lacking in our culinary options, We journeed to Texas to try our fortunes. Really loving how Korean fusion food is catching on! Makes it so much easier to get my kimchi fix on! I'm visiting home for the holidays and was so excited to try LA Burger out - and I can safely say it measured up! (Dare I say, even better than Korilla in NYC?) I got to try the kimchi fries (held up really well under all the kimchi, cheese, and I think bacon?) and bulgogi tacos (props for using corn tortillas). The LA Burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had - but really, how can you go wrong with kimchi, a runny egg, and a JUICY flavorful burger?! (You can't). If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend this place, and if you're not, make a trip out here to go! It's worth it. I was ecstatic about LA Burger opening a new location in Carrollton. It is much closer for me. I always wanted to try LA Burger, but felt it was too far in Irving. So my bf and I randomly drove by the area and we were looking for a place to eat, too! The staff was very welcoming and informative about the menu. We got the k-fries (fries with kimchi a.k.a spicy cabbage), Bonsai burger and my bf got the spicy beef tacos. Best kimchi fries I tried thus far! The texture with the kimchi and fries and the flavors were awesome. I don't like burgers and I tend to enjoy the buns more than the meat. The buns were awesome. I don't know what kind of bread they use, but I like it. It's not the typical buns you eat with the burger. The tacos were delicious... though my bf ate it before I could have another bite. The manager was nice. He came by our table to talk to us and explained about their food and mission. Very nice guy. I think it's good for the manager to come around and explain their food to the new customers... FYI, what I learned is that the kimchi are made fresh and it's a secret recipe. Stopped by because another restaurant I wanted to visit was closed for the day but im kind of glad it was. This place was seriously good. I'm not a fan of burgers so I was excited to see tacos on the menu. I ordered the bulgogi tacos and kimchi fries and wow were they great. Like I would eat here everyday if it wasn't so far good. The tacos reminded me of street tacos ive eaten in San Antonio (and miss) except with korean flavor. I was really impressed with the quality of the food as well. Hell, this place has one of the best burgers in DFW period! The LA Burger is king here. Don't get wimpy by avoiding this burger because of the fried egg. Embrace your inner "Fatboy/Fatgirl" and order it. You'll be glad you did. There's other stuff on the menu and they're good too but I would highly recommend the K-fries. It's a killer combo of fries, bulgogi, and kimchi. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, just pretend the bulgogi is soy and eat it. I promise this will change you. I've been eating here for years and totally forgot to review this place. I would recommend this particular location because the owners are usually working here. The brothers Lee are some awesome dudes and they always chat with the customers. Now I would have given them 5 stars but they still don't have a kids menu. This place is amazing!!! I came here after a recommendation from a coworker. I just thought this was just another burger place...I was so wrong. Think of this place as your korean BBQ place plus hamburgers. Sounds gross....but its delicious. I tried their K-Town burger with kimchi on a wheat bun. It blew me away!! I am not a huge eater of red meat...but the angus beef was to die for. It had the right amount of spice. I am big fan of kimchi fries....and they did not disappoint me here. It had more bulgolgi than another place I have been too...and everything else I expected and then some. The customer service is amazing as well. You will not be disappointed coming here. The burger isnt so big it feels like you ate a whole cow like some places I have been to. If you want something different than your run of the mill burger...come here!! This is a little hole in the wall joint in Carrollton that serves burgers with a Korean twist. A friend of mine ordered the west burger, and he said it was really good. He had never tried kimchi, so he got it on the side. He loved it. The shoe string fries were just regular fries, nothing stood out. I ordered the chicken on a hoagie, and the chicken was really tender and flavored well. It reminded me of banh mi without all that toppings. I will definitely come back and try other items. The best korean fusion in the Dallas area! Possibly because it's the only of its kind, nonetheless, it is worth every calorie! The bulgogi burger is one of my personal favorites. The taste of the meat, the bun, and all the fixings go so perfect together. The hotdog is amazing and always my go to! You have your hotdog, topped with bulgogi, topped with kimchi goodness, and when I'm feeling it, I like to add avocado. The kimchi fries are also worth trying. My only complaint are about the tacos. I didn't care for the tortilla, it was very dry and didn't work well. The service is extremely friendly and if it's your first time their suggestions are awesome. Kfries were soggy but you can't expect much when it's smothered in sauce so that's ok with me :) Ordered the salad w/ bugolgi (sorry forgot what it's called) but it's exactly what it is - beef over lettuce. Bugolgi was good not too sweet or salty so it was good over a bed of lettuce. Light and filling, especially with the fries. I came here thanks to a vegetarian yes...VEGETARIAN Korean friend. She doesn't eat the meat but she loves the k-fries (sans bulgolgi). I am not a big burger eater but when I want a burger I come here because I love kimchi and eggs on my burger! But I recommend the wheat bun. Food is good but service is terrible. I've called in 3 separate times and been hung up on each time after 5+ minute gold times. Been routed to their voicemail box which is full. When I then drive over to the restaurant in person I see the place nearly empty with an explanation that they were somehow slammed 10 minutes before. I get a "sorry" but no attempt is made beyond that to "make it right". I'm frustrated at myself for not "canceling" my business earlier. We wanted something quick and flavorful. We were surround by tons of Korean BBQ restaurants which was more of a dine in experience. First time here and did not know what to expect. We ordered three street Korean tacos with our choice of protein. We got chicken, beef and pork (cilantro onion mix sprinkled on top)!! You have to get the side of kimchi served hot, because it takes your taco to another level. The server that took our order was very sweet and explained everything to us since we have never been in before. I came here expecting to get a burger and I am glad I did not. Amazing juicy burger! After talking to the cashier, I opted for the 3 strikes burger with sweet potato fries. He said it was his favorite and recommended I put sriracha on it. What a combo!! After a long day of shopping at Daiso, we headed over to LA Burger, because we didn't know enough to feel comfortable at a Korean restaurant (next time I'm overcoming my fear - they looked really interesting). This place is cool. A long bar full of craft beers and a few stools is to the side, and you order your burger straight ahead when you walk in. I had a very basic cheeseburger, but I'm pretty serious about my cheeseburgers, and this one was excellent. A generous patty on an excellent bun. The side of fries were excellent, too, especially if you like shoestring fries. There was a touch of seasoning on them that could have been just season salt, but they were delicious. Very comfy, very casual, and you can grab an Observer to flip through and read to your friend for discussion. Okay, that's probably just us, but give it a try - great convo over your craft beer. Thank you Yelpers, I went here because of reviews and believe it's one of the top 5 burgers and fries I've ever consumed. Service was very friendly and helpful too. I enjoyed a rice veggie burger, it was crunchy not mushy. Man it was good on that fresh bun. Everything was freshly made, no heat lamps and so so warm fries. Fries were not overly salted either. You can't really tell from looking from the outside, but once you walk in you are greeted with a cool vibe atmosphere and great friendly customer service. The guy on the register was super friendly and very knowledgable about their products. He did good recommendations and offered us a sample of their kimchi. I had the "Holy Smokes" and added avocado to it. It was delicious: the buns were great, bacon nice and crispy, avocado fresh and a fair amount, onion rings and burger where on the spot.
