    Smoked turkey on croissant
    Lindsey W.

I pretty much get the same thing at every La Bou I visit. A smoked turkey on croissant, a Chinese chicken salad no peanuts, and 1/2 a baguette sliced with a dill sauce. Today I skipped the salad. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. Their baguette is good, but their dill sauce is amazing!! You can buy it by the cup this one is right by my work and it has been consistently good and the service has been good. Prices are a tad high but everything is these days!

i am a sucker for a baguette and dill dressing from labou. big labou fan here, and just love that i will get a consistently good meal at any location. tons of parking outside, with a drive thru option *insert praise hands emoji*. plenty of soup, salad, sandwich combos and breakfast too! they do have some signs up asking for patience since they're short staffed. it was still a great dining experience. will be back!

Their Tomato soup is SO GOOD

Baguette and dill sauce is MANDATORY. I love that most Labou locations have Thai tea.(one of my favorite drinks in the world) I get their tomato soup which doesn't sound special but - IT IS. You can do half soup, salad or sandwich during lunchtime (which I lived off of when I was going to school) it's the perfect lunch spot. The staff are always so nice and the restaurant is clean. Try the tomato soup! lol

Quick and easy lunch spot whether you dine-in or to-go. This modest fast casual dining place is a favorite. Their dill dip is a must try! Our usual are the tomato bisque, turkey panini, club sandwich (new fave), Chinese chicken salad ( the dressing is so good), and the Asian noodle salad. Service? meh!

Burnt cheese on the outside of a ham and cheese croissant. The ham was dry!

I have not been at this La Bou in maybe 2 years. I regret saying that it has really gone down hill. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a ham and cheese croissant and a cup of coffee. The ham and cheese croissant had burnt cheese on the outside and the ham inside was very dry. I have been a La Bou customer for over 25 years and before this, everything I have ordered was delicious. My chocolate croissant was also not good. Not as bad as the ham and cheese croissant but not as good. I'm sure the difference is new owner/management. I hope this isn't the same for the other La Bou's!

    Asian Noodle salad

I'm actually posting this view to find out if others noticed a difference in their food. The noodles today are definitely not the normal noodles they use. They are kind of a mix between spaghetti and chow mein noodles. And there is very little flavor. Just taste oily. The blueberry scone I got didn't have it's normal crunch. They tasted like day old scones. Still good but just not the quality I'm used to.

As much as I hate spending the money to eat here, I love everything on this menu. Maybe that's why my lunches here tend to be much closer to $20 than $10. Sure, you can stay under $10 too. Favorites: *Chicken Caesar Wrap. Love the roasted red bell peppers, cucumbers and lemony caesar dressing. Fresh. So fresh. *Chicken Club Panini. All the flavors. Avocado. Bacon. Chicken. *Thai Chicken Soup. Any day is a good day for this soup. *Dill Dip. SHOWSTOPPER. #IFYYK *All the breakfast sandwiches. Yes,all.

Turkey croissant sandwich and Chinese chicken salad
    Allyson M.

One of my go-to's for lunch since I work relatively close by. They have a wide variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries and more. My personal favorite is the Chinese Chicken Salad. You can tell that every single meal is made with love and good quality food. I also love ordering a half baguette and a dill sauce on the side. Whatever you do, you MUST order dill sauce!!! It's absolutely to die for. If you're coming for breakfast, I highly recommend the spinach and cream cheese croissant!

Delicious food in a magnificent atmosphere

The space is big with a lot of seating at tables, high-tops, & booths that can accommodate a few diners or a big party. Natural light comes in through large windows. Music from the 80's & 90's played. TVs around the perimeter played Atmosphere TV. The menu is posted above the counter. You can order at the counter or using a kiosk. They have self-serve Coca-Cola fountain drinks, including Gold Peak Teas. Napkins & condiments are also self-accessible. We got a 12" French Dip with 3 oz of extra meat & extra cheese, & a Supreme Cheesesteak. Food was served piping hot & brought out to our table. The mister liked the French Dip & thought it was tasty with a beefy jus that wasn't salty. However, he said he would order something else next time. I liked the Supreme. It had tender meat, good texture on the veggies, & was cheesy. The bread was nice & soft, but the flip side is that it impacted the structural integrity of the sandwich as I ate. The Fries were wonderfully crunchy. I liked dipping them in fry sauce & Ranch dressing. The mister's sandwich was served with a pickle spear that I took a bite of, but it was not good--fibrous, not juicy, & not very sour. The staff we encountered were friendly. We got checked in on a couple of times. The dining space was well-maintained.

My initial visit I ordered from their "vintage" menu. I got Erik's B.L.A.S.T. with bacon, Arcadian lettuce, avocado, clover sprouts, Secret Goo and tomato on toasted sourdough. They accidentally forgot the clover sprouts on my order. I love sprouts, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized they were missing. However the sandwich was great so it didn't ruin the meal. I loved their special tuna sandwich, called the Ocean Avenue, which was a delicious concoction. Made with tuna salad, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, clover sprouts, and sweet hot mustard on swirl rye bread. The ingredients were all fresh & tasty. Another winner I just consumed was the Ciao Down, made with the softest Dutch Crunch I've ever eaten. I appreciated having the roof of my mouth intact! The combination of ingredients (salami, turkey, Swiss, tomato, onions, clover sprouts, basil pesto) gave me salty, vinegary, sour, and savory, with just a mild spicy kick from the hot cherry peppers. Whatever you do, don't skip the carrot cake! It is the best carrot cake I've ever had. I actually wondered if they outsourced it, but it turns out it's a proprietary family recipe. Made with carrots, pineapples, cream cheese frosting, and walnuts. It tastes homemade and perfectly balanced.

Ok, so you have to love cream cheese (which I do) because that's what makes this behemoth of a sandwich so good. It has avocado, cheese, and mayo. For a pastrami sandwich purist, it might not sound good, but it was so flavorful, and even my husband loved it, and he's one of the pastrami purist and not a fan of mayo. That says a lot. We also tried the hot roast beef with cheddar cheese that came with an au jus for dipping. So dang good! I love the beach and Hawaii theme, of course.
