It has sporting goods for almost all popular American sports including fishing, camping, cycles, shoes, apparel, and equipments. It is very clean and tidying always. Our most recent visit to was to get T-ball bat, helmet, gloves, pants, bags and shoes. We found all items except the shoes. Was really happy with variety of brands, options and sizes that were available. All items were on display within the same area, so it was easy get one item after another. The prices were decent, comparable prices I saw online from places like Amazon. Multiple associates offered to help. One of them assisted us with getting access to fitting room. When we asked about T-ball shoes, there was a huge confusion among them, the question got relayed between four of associates in three different areas before we found they don't have it. LOL!! But the checkout process was fast and easy. Multiple registers were open, so line was moving quickly.

They gave me another customer's receipt at my last visit and told me I would be refunded $ which never appeared on my account (because it wasn't mine). When I went back to ask why it didn't appear not knowing it wasn't supposed to, they gave me an attitude and dismissed me, told me to call customer service and they could not help even though their employee made the mistake. Then, when I asked them to call being that it was their employee's mistake, they realized it was another customers receipt they gave me instead of mine with an attitude and gave me the correct receipt instead. It's not about the fuckin $ I don't need it. It's about the fact that I received No apology for the confusion or inconvenience caused and that turns you off from stepping foot into that store again.

I tend to prefer Marshalls over TJ Maxx due to availability of deals and quicker lines. This location in Harlem was surprisingly better stocked than the ones in Brooklyn and going early, it was a much smoother and pleasant shopping experience. The shelves were more organised, the lines were shorter, and the prices were the same, if not better. The only thing is that there's no bathroom inside (that I could find) and there are cops inside, so that might change you're experience.
