I'm not usually a fan of thin-crust pizza, but Mama Lou's changed my mind…read more Me and my fabulous hubby were in the mood for some pizza, and Mama Lou's had captured my husband's interest for a while. We visited it for our anniversary, and the Italian bistro interior was truly captivating. They had some watercolor advertisement prints, a nice wine rack, and other touches to sell the bistro atmosphere. The supervisor, Mark, was extremely engaging, and along with our server, Aira, made sure that our visit was stellar. We enjoyed talking with Mark very much. We chose to eat the spinach and artichoke dip, the mozzarella sticks, and two fourteen-inch pizzas. I LOVED the pepperoni pizza. It had a spicy, addictive sauce that really gave it oomph. The assorted meat pizza was great, but I'm not the biggest fan of Canadian bacon. It was still delicious but didn't wow me as much as the pepperoni did. The thin crust delivered on its promise: tender dough under the toppings with a crisp, cracker like crust. We truly enjoyed the experience. The dip had this baked cheese crust that really elevated the taste, and was served with fluffy, flour tortilla, fried chips. This dish was my second favorite next to the pepperoni pizza. The mozzarella sticks were also amazing, with what seemed like hand breading. I'm used to the kind of mozzarella sticks you get in diners, so these sticks tasted a bit... classier? I think that's how I'd describe it. Anyway, I invite you to give Mama Lous in the Nuvali Solenad Mall a try. I think you'll be happy you visited.

It was cooked medium and I guess I shouldn't ordered medium to begin with and a steak on a filipino guised italian restaurant. Service of course is not good but works when I wave my hand for 2 minutes :)

Really adorable cafe. It has a bit of a country porch feel or mom and pop type of store, but…read moretrendy. Since recently discovering Yelp hit the Philippines after returning 7 months down the line. Me and some family ventured out here to check out Ted's. My cousin had mentioned the food being very good albeit a bit pricier than local fair. Of course, that was true, but we agreed quality was there. We tried a few of their shakes-- Mango Peach, Apple Basil, Mandarin Lime, the BBQ chicken pizza, bacon cheddar fries, the seafood puttanesca, and Ted's linguine. The shakes that have fruit in their names don't seem to have milk in them and are more like finely blended slushies. A really amazing treat to escape from all the heat. I thought the apple basil and mandarin lime were the better of the 3 we got since they seemed more refreshing. The peach made the mango shake a lot heavier in comparison. For the apple basil, you can really taste the basil, but it didn't seem too overpowering, however, I'm unsure if I could drink the entire thing. The Mandarin Lime was really refreshing though. Ted's Linguine - Creamy as advertised. All the pastas seem to come with a bread stick too. Not much to really say. It was overall, really good and a great safe choice if you want pasta but not feeling adventurous. Seafood Puttanesca - Probably my favorite. Came with mussels and shrimp with bread. The sauce was a nice flavor and seasoned well. BBQ Chicken Pizza - Also really good, but much more like a flat bread and not very pizza like. Definitely think flat bread. It came with a pile of cabbage like greens as garnish and was nicely cooked. Though at the end we were questioning if it had any chicken in it as none of us could recall ever tasting the chicken. The sauce had a really nice smokey flavor though. Bacon Cheddar Fries - Very standard fries with bits of fried bacon crumbled with a drizzling of cheese. It was very tidy. I'd definitely be happy to return to try more off their menu or just to keep in mind of a place with very good drinks. They also have coffee and cakes so I imagine they'd make a nice sit in coffee shop too.

Service was really good as our server Choi was very attentive and polite (both times we went) along with the rest of the staff. The green mango smoothie was so good! One thing I must say is the oddity of how low the ceilings were!!!! Eek. I'm short but it was low enough for me to tippy toe and touch the ceiling. The restroom too was like this. Felt like Alice in Wonderland lol Def a must when you're in town.

I was in the country the year they opened and happened to be visiting my cousin in the area who took me here for lunch with her family. I remember having the best dining experience and promised to come back the next time I'm in the country again. This time around that very same cousin invited me to stay with her for the weekend so of course I obliged. She made sure a meal here was on the agenda. We came in for lunch 7 deep on a Saturday. There was a little bit of a wait, but we didn't mind since we were catching up on what we missed the last few years since I hadn't seen them in over a decade. My cousin went on an ordering spree as soon as we sat down. Before I knew it, food started covering all our tables. What a feast indeed. My mango shake was amazing. Always so good. Every dish was great. They're known for their pastas, hut I only got to have a bite of one order. I got a bit of every single dish ordered for the table. The salad was my personal favorite. The pizzas were great. The bbq was my favorite of the meats. A visit here is a must if you're in the area. I highly recommend walking around the Liliw area for souvenirs from the local vendors right after your meal. We had such an amazing day. I know I've only visited twice, but the memories bring me so much joy. I always tell everyone I know in the Philippines to make sure they come here for a meal if they happen to be in the area. I'd certainly be in trouble if I lived in the area. I will definitely be back for a visit on my next visit. I intend to be in the Philippines towards the end of the year so I guess see you soon! From California, with love.
