Popped into The Breakfast Club this past weekend for their Friday breakfast buffet, and wow, it hit…read morethe spot perfectly. Got there right around 7:30, snagged a nice window table with morning light pouring in, and dove straight into the spread. They had this killer lineup--garlic rice, longganisa that was juicy and not too sweet, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy danggit, and some really good tapa that was tender and full of flavor. The free-flowing coffee kept coming without me even asking, which was clutch. Everything tasted fresh, nothing felt like it was sitting out too long, and the vibe inside is so chill and homey, like you're eating at a friend's place but better. Left feeling full, happy, and already plotting my next visit to try their all-day menu--heard the bibimbap and pancakes are next-level. Solid five stars, hands down.

What better way to start your day than with a breakfast buffet?…read more The Breakfast Club's cozy interior provides the perfect setting for putting things on hold in favor of a warm early morning meal. They have a breakfast buffet every Friday to Sunday which starts at 7 am and ends at 10 am. They don't have a lavish spread of items on the buffet to choose from, but they do have just the right amount of variety to keep your meal from becoming a dull repetition of viands. From my experience, they had breakfast items such as tocino, scrambled eggs, tapa, and fish fillet. They change the choices once in a while, and they have free-flowing coffee as part of the package!! So be early! If you miss the buffet, don't worry! They have lots of a la carte meals that will satisfy you as much as their buffet will.

Just had the most perfect lazy morning breakfast at George and Onnie's (or Little Flour, whatever…read morethey're calling it now) and I'm still thinking about it hours later. Walked in around 7:30 before the mall got crazy, and the place was chill with that cozy café smell hitting you right away--fresh coffee and baked goods. Ordered the longsilog and wow, the longganisa patty was juicy and garlicky without being too greasy, paired with perfectly sunny-side-up eggs and garlic rice that was spot-on crispy. The atchara on the side cut through everything so nicely. Grabbed their signature ube pandesal French toast on the side because why not, and it was ridiculous--soft, custardy inside with that sweet ube glaze that wasn't overpowering. Coffee was strong and hot, just how I like it. Server was super attentive without hovering, refilled my water before I even asked. For the price, it felt like a steal compared to other spots in the area. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. 100% coming back tomorrow before my flight. If you're anywhere near Newport, don't sleep on this place.

Despite the most recent review being 1 star, I still wanted to try Marthina's Cafe. Unfortunately,…read moreI had a similar experience as the last person who posted, as a majority of the menu items were unavailable. Out of the extensive coffee/boba listings, only 3 drinks were in-stock. It took us around 10 minutes of going through the lunch menu and being told they did not have what we wanted, to the point we debated leaving; I decided to just settle for fries and a salad since they had the chicken adobo that my bf ordered. In the time it took for our meals to arrive, another family left in frustration after multiple attempts to find something available The employee at the register was rude and completely unsympathetic as she kept coldly repeating "(dish/drink) is unavailable", while offering no alternatives. She watched us struggle to choose the next-best options for 10 minutes, then finally told us what they did have, which implicitly informed us that during the entire interaction, she was well-aware of their inventory but could not be bothered to let us know. My bf said his chicken adobo and the garlic cheesy fries were good. My chicken caesar salad was okay, but the dressing tasted slightly off. My coffee arrived when we were almost done eating- I think they forgot about it... The mocha frappe was so rich and decadent, which was bittersweet because the new Nutella Espresso and the Pepero coffee that we had originally chosen would have been amazing, but (as you can guess) both were unavailable so I had to resort to my default mocha It's understandable to run out of ingredients or wait on a supply re-stock, but to the extent of having less than 10% of the dishes/drinks on your menu is just... They're receiving 3 stars because I loved the mocha frappe (it brought them up from 2 stars) But please work on customer service :(

They even had some folk guitar music playing in the background. The prices are very fair. Average 120-130 pesos for a rice meal. All day breakfast for 80-90 pesos. They have sides and shareable bites like sisig and Sriracha wings for about 200somethingish pesos. I ordered the strawberry blossom drink . It had graham cracker cookie like crumble on top and bottom. It tasted exactly like a strawberry angel cake in a cup. Kim ordered the carbonara. Precy ordered a BBQ rice plate and we ordered a few sides of the pork sisig. Dad ordered the sweet and sour fish. It was a lot of food. The sisig to share was enough for 3 people. I split a serving of rice with my mom. The food was fresh and pretty good. Id come back again. Good price, nice and clean ambiance, food came out quickly , and the taste was yummy. I was not disappointed.
