What an amazing spot!!! No notes whatsoever…read more My family', 13 total, spent 3 days in San Pablo City being pampered by my cousin who settled here after marrying into a family based in the city. Our stay concluded here with a lunch for our two families totaling 23 people. Our 12pm reservation was upstairs. We ended up taking over the whole space overlooking the view downstairs. My cousin Diana basically took care of everything. She ordered for all of us with exception of the teenagers who wanted to eat fried foods. Based on what came my way, the highlights were: Bistek tagalog - it left me wanting more rice Puso ng saging - hands down everyone's favorite. So much so we ordered one to go to bring to our family in Manila. We're from Bicol and have this dish regularly when we're there so finding it here after we had just left Bicol certainly was no coincidence Halo halo - best one I had. PERIODT We only ordered one which the kids ended up hogging to themselves since it was that good Turon - fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire The kids had fish & chips which I was told was good. The ambience here is it. You're transported in time as soon as you walk in. It reminded me of places in Vigan. Even the decor had us staring. My sister wanted to buy one of the paintings, but we were told they weren't for sale. It rained for a few minutes shortly before we left. The garden area looked so breathtaking as it got poured on by so much water. We left full and thankful. The drive back to Manila was so chill. Most of us were knocked out from the best food coma. If you're in the area, this place is a must.

The food is delicious and ambiance is beautiful but the best part is the SERVICE! Wonderful servers!read more

While everything on the menu sounded appetizing, we came here for one thing and that was the lomi. We added the fried mushrooms, karaage chicken, and Chinese fried rice (no photo taken). The fried enoki mushrooms were fried perfectly, but I think I expected a little more out of those. Maybe to be more full since they were quite thin. The soup was really good in my opinion for someone who tried Lomi for the first time. The karaage wasn't half as bad! I wish they fried it one more time though just to get a more brown color & have a little more of that ginger taste. We also got the chocolate sea salt cookies at the end and they were delicious! It was a nice chewy cookie shaped brownie with a hint of sea salt which balances everything out. If you look at the menu, there's a lot of great stuff! If I ever come back to Batangas, I would like to try their other items next time.

It still is but I noticed that the lomi was too plain. There's nothing in it except the thick broth, kikiam and noodles. Will I go back next time I visit? Maybe yes until I find a more suitable lomi house.

I especially like the cozy and very Filipino design of the restaurant which makes me feel at home. The menu consists of all time favorites from all over the country, but my favorite is their Laoya. It's a dish from the south very similar to Nilagang Baka, but with a hint of sweetness. It comes with a dipping sauce which makes it unique. Their coffee is made extra special with balikutsa as sweetener. I'm so looking forward to their new branch in Tagaytay Highlands!
