They used to prepare freshly hot Haitian bread with an irresistible aroma that you could find nowhere else. The patties were delicious and second to none. But since they stopped baking them their signature way, that place has been declining quicker than quick sand, and there's no reason to tolerate the outrageous wait times and their bad attitudes anymore. Also I constantly used to see people fuss because they placed their orders online and only for them to have the customer wait in line while they prepare it. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I strongly suspect that their kitchen equipment does not work and they get the food someplace else then bring it in bulk through the back. I say this because the patties and bread are not hot anymore yet the wait times are still intolerable. DISGRACE. Don't waste your time with these clowns. Go to Family Pompano Bakery instead.

BEEF PATTY SUPREMACY!!!…read more Until today my picky wife is not a patty lover but seemed to be enthralled with the beef patty place that we just found from an online search. Read a few mixed Yelp reviews on this place but had to experience it for myself and have since only encountered a few decent patties with varying tastes and prices. Upon entering I noticed a mountain of fresh patties in the two tier Heat Max food warmer and the smell emanating through the store was amazing. To be blunt, the shop looked dingy in need of some TLC but sometimes the best food is in unsuspecting places that dont emphasize on decor but only the quality of the product. Well, this was one of those places. A quick check of the gender neutral bathroom revealed a clean and simple no frills room. Now, back to the counter, and while viewing the small wall menu, it was evident by the pricing that they were not trying to burn a hole in your wallet. Every patty were under $3.00 and the sweet cakes too. Noticed that they did not offer a spicy beef which are my favorite but went with the plain beef patty but without added hot sauce. The patty was larger than my goriila sized hand and the sheer weight was impressive. The steaming hot beef densely packed the firm flaky crust. No outside patio to sit and eat so we drove off with our treat. My wife and I carefully took small bites at every stop light as the flakes fell onto our laps and the center console. The beef had a mild tasty flavor and the crust was spectacular. The wife, not being a patty enthusiast, was surprisingly pleased with the taste and said we have to visit Taste Rite again.

I tried the pan de yuca, and it was fresh, flavorful, and very enjoyable. My husband is a big fan of this bakery and has enjoyed everything he's tried here. The bakery itself is quite small and felt a bit disorganized during our visit. It also could be cleaner, which was the only downside to the experience. On the other hand, the service was excellent--the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, it's a great spot for authentic Colombian baked goods, and I'd be happy to return.

This was on the Wednesday, patties were to be picked up on the Saturday at 11.00am. I arrived there on the Saturday at 12.45pm. Was told that the patties were not done, he was surprised to see me! Keep in mind I'm leaving for the airport later on that Saturday. I was to receive them frozen, but he said he would have them ready in a couple of hours. I asked about compensation for my extreme inconvenience, and he laughed. I then went to my vehicle, immediately returned to the store and told him I wanted a refund on the cocktail patties. Which he did. I have been going there for years, no more. Also, the store is very rundown. The sign in front is almost illegible. Inside, is very rundown also. Needs painting and cleaning up. Fixtures etc are outdated and very old looking. I only wonder how the back looks where I guess the food is prepared. Very disappointing.
