The space feels warm and lived‑in, and there's a steady flow of regulars who clearly treat it as part of their routine. That alone says a lot. The pastries are the first thing that catch your eye--rows of croissants, cookies, and cakes that look like they were made by someone who actually cares about the details.

Milano's is a charming Latin/Argentinian café with great food and a lively atmosphere. I also tried one of their empanadas, which was delicious and packed with flavor. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed! The real star here, though, is the pastries. I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!

This place has been our go to for a couple of years now. We first came looking for paletas on a…read morerandom search and to our delight, they have much more than that. First and foremost, their paletas are soooooo good and unique. They have the best flavors not found elsewhere and ingredients are carefully sourced. They don't cut corners.... Guava and cream, horchata, honey and goat cheese, passion fruit, Parmesan ricotta, lulo (IYKYK), among others. And if you're courageous and adventurous, go for their alcohol infused ones (vodka-lime, daiquiri, amaretto, mojito and so much more). They also have very unique gelato flavors. I tasted their lavender one today... no artificial colors!!!! Pure goodness. And that's just the beginning. They have to die for croissants and other artisanal specialty French pastries. I've never had a croissant like the ones they have at D'Liras. At every opportunity we drag friends and family and they all fully agree. I highly suggest visiting this place... it will become your go to for frozen and authentic French treats. Ps. Are my paketa way too fast and missed the photo opp!

We ordered the pistachio and gianduia croissants with two cappuccinos. We also ordered a strawberry paleta for our little one. Once our food was ready the other male owner brought it to us. He was so sweet he added a mini plain croissant for our little guy to try. Such a nice gesture. We took our first bites and wow! Hands down absolutely incredible. The flakes and texture of these croissants were on point. The cream wasn't too sweet and very creamy. What a treat this place was and the owners were so hospitable and welcoming. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back and try more pastries.

Sometimes the best breakfasts are the ones you stumble into without much of a plan, and that's…read moreexactly how we ended up at Angelo Elia Bakery Bar. We ordered a latte, the Parma prosciutto, stracchino and fig spread croissant, and a ham and cheese quiche to share. The moment they pressed that croissant on the grill and served it warm, I knew we made the right choice. The buttery, flaky pastry with the salty prosciutto and sweet fig spread was one of those bites that makes you stop talking for a second just to appreciate it. The quiche was just as memorable, light, fluffy, packed with flavor, and somehow gone way too quickly. Sharing sounded like a good idea when we ordered, but halfway through I was already regretting it. Great coffee, delicious food, and the kind of place that makes you start planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill. The service is super friendly and the cafe is modern and super clean. Can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the bakery case.

Italian based bakery & cafe with counter service and a welcoming tranquil outside covered patio…read more Several free parking spaces surround the business with the busy front patio visual to passerbys along Oakland Park Blvd. Caught a glimpse of the large sign "The Bakery Bar" while driving by and it looked intriguing so had to take a peek. The front patio was filled with patrons having their morning pastry and coffee discussing the booming stock market. The scent of fresh bread blasted through my nostrils and noticed several loaves of bread standing prominently at attention behind the cashier, hovering above the pastry display, as I ordered a Julius Meinl Austrian med-roast espresso. Loved the attention to detail with the presention of my espresso served in a miniature cup on a saucer along with a metal spoon and a heart shape sugar cookie which was a nice touch. Quenched my thirst and onto my next adventure.
