Cool place, especially for the Megan moroney pop up! It was just soooo hot with the ac either broken or just too high and sprawling with teen girls. Cool angles of the city and the pool area looked like a real party! The drinks were pretty bad though and way too expensive for what they were. Servers were accommodating at least because one of the drinks was straight up undrinkable.
Best view in Nashville with the worst service. Me and my wife came in for cocktails on a Friday night. Plenty of seating and we were sat with a view of the city. We got our drinks and the waitress then ignored us while waiting on other tables. We sat for 30 mins and watched other tables get service while we got none. Food & drinks delivered to the tables around us, while we sat with empty glasses. I finally asked for the check and it took her another 10 minutes to bring it out. I complained to the maître d' and also the front desk of the Westin Hotel where this bar is located. I highly recommend staying away from this place and spending your money elsewhere. Worst service in Nashville!
Went to the Megan Moroney pop-up bar here last night for the CMA fest. Prices were expensive (drinks $16-20), staff was super busy but I was able to get their attention easily. The decorations were awesome. The DJ was good and overall it was a good time
Stayed at the Westin on my trip to Nashville. The bar was very cool! I loved the wide-spread views of the city you got, as well as both an open-air spot, and a covered area. The pool was brightly lit, but no one was swimming. Although I liked the ambiance that brought, it being centered, I would feel like I am being watched and swimming wouldn't be as comfortable. Got a drink and some food, both were great.
I decided to check out this rooftop bar while staying at the Westin for a wedding during Labor day weekend. It was raining so I didn't get to see the views from the rooftop. The pool looked inviting as well. I ordered French 75 with the bartender which was made to perfection. The buffalo wings were delicious and so were the wagyu sliders. The vibes were great. There was a guitarist singing blues live. Everyone at the bar was friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're staying at the Westin and want to stay in for good food and drinks.
Not accommodating for large parties If your coming to take pictures it's a cool spot from the lobby to the roof top that's where it ends. We came on a Saturday night from 7pm - 10pm (photos below of atmosphere). We pre paid for a cabana that fits 13, we were originally sat at a booth that sits 6. After talking with the manager (who kept a pleasant attitude) our server Austin however, unfortunately had a attitude from the beginning and as the night progressed it got worst. Delayed times coming to get orders. Food not coming out at all. At one point rolled his at one of the guest. As a large party we understood their policy for 1 check and prepared ourselves accordingly. However this was a waste of money. Additionally horrible playlist. Would come back for bar only! Not good space for large parties....
Came from out of town for work and we found the location it has a very nice view, the servers and the food runners also the attendance was very pleasant
The L27 is located in the Westin on the 27th floor. The westin is beautifully decorated. There is a wall of beautiful hanging terrariums. L27 rooftop has an amazing view. My husband and I went at night so the pool/hot tub was closed. I can only imagine how beautiful the view is from the pool in the day time. The pool says it closes at 6pm and is for residents of the hotel. There are cabanas to rent out. We didn't eat but we enjoyed some cocktails (old fashion and havana berry). The cocktails were really good. They music was pretty good. Will definitely be returning.
This is a review for the afternoon, but I did see they have a brunch menu as well. We went on a Saturday night, and it was quite easy to get a table to 2. The view here was amazing, and the rooftop infinity pool (though only open to guests of the hotel) was super beautiful. We got really cute photos on the rooftop, with a great view of the skyline behind us. Our drinks were exactly as we expected them to be. There were quite a few visitors who might have had a little too much to drink, but the bar was lively and fun. The only issue we had was the DJ that night was god awful. He might have been the worst DJ I have ever heard, it would have been nicer if it was spotify shuffle on the speakers. Other than that, we had a lovely time, with great views! This particular bar is very walkable, in a hotel right in downtown, within a few blocks of plenty of bites or other lively bars and meet up locations if this isn't to be your only stop during the night.
This rooftop bar is at the top of the Downtown Westin. Service was great from the second we stepped foot in the hotel. The bar is on the 27th floor (L27 get it?). We reserved an outside table but the only one left had a side table instead of a regular table so we sat inside instead. Waitstaff was excellent. The bar has amazing views of the city and the staff happily snapped pictures for anyone who wanted it. We ordered salmon and sliders. It took a while for the food to come but it was worth the wait. The salmon was amazing and I'm kind of picky about salmon. It was topped with a garlic butter that was so flavorful. The asparagus was tender but still crisp. It paired really well with the almonds and feta. My husband had the sliders. They were really good and I stole some of his fries. He didn't like the garlic mayo but it was served on the side so it was fine. We will absolutely be back! Parking is a mess but it's downtown and expected. You can valet at the hotel for $25. There's a pay lot across the street for $36 (highway robbery). If you don't mind a short walk, there is street parking one block away.

For a rooftop bar above the Westin, I honestly expected a bit more than that. They have a pool that has a city view but reserved for residents. I ordered the Wandering Sky and it was decent. A bit bitter with the enhancements which is what I expected from the drink description. Cup was filled halfway but the drink is strong so it gave a nice buzz before dinner. It's a rooftop bar so prices are higher and quality is not really as good as a typical restaurant, since you're there for the views (or the lack thereof) and ambience (which is honestly solid). However, there is barely any service as we noticed our drinks were ready for 10 minutes but no one delivered them so we had to ask and serve ourselves.

Oh this is niiiiice! I've been to a few Nashville rooftops but this was my first time at L27 and I was thoroughly impressed! I came to hang out with my friend at the pool for her bday. I purchased a pool pass directly from the website. It would be nice if it came with some perks or a discount but it did not. The service at the pool was wonderful. The one younger guy with curly hair seemed to be the only server for the outdoor area and he was killing it! I don't know how he managed to keep everyone outside happy but he did. The food was actually delicious. I ordered the bbq shrimp and Mediterranean Caesar salad. The shrimp dish was interesting, as the shrimp was cut up. But it was so flavorful and loved the bread it was served with. The salad was also delicious and refreshing. I was disappointed with my cocktail. The drinks are way too expensive to be so weak/blah so they need to improve in that area. All in all, I would come back when I'm feeling fancy! read more
One of the best roof top bar experience downtown. Such a vibe you can enjoy your meal and cocktail in or outdoor. Classy and elegant and the views are amazing. I decided at the last minute and didn't have reservation, the server was able to seat us outdoors for a group of 4- so thank you for accommodating us. A must visit! read more
Solid 4: Fiona 5/5, Emmanuel 0/5 We were here for a board meeting and spent 4 nights here. For starters, the conference facilities were good. Catering was good. No qualms there. Hotel a good Westin. We were always looking for a late night option for "that last drink". Thus, L27 was our sole, hotel option. Good bar. Great manager - Fiona. Server - Emmanuel zero. I don't do this often but it needs to be said. Emmanuel, for whatever reason decided our table didn't require his attention - his job. Fiona, the Manager took care of us instead. She was friendly, affable and welcoming. We realized the difference and cash tipped her 3 bills. We made sure to tell Emmanuel what we did, what he missed out on and I was going to write this eventually. So here we are... read more

The L27 is located in the Westin on the 27th floor. The westin is beautifully decorated. There is a wall of beautiful hanging terrariums. L27 rooftop has an amazing view. OMG this was the most perfect dinner. The food was all absolutely amazing. The music is great, and so is the overall ambiance of the place. The service was also awesome, and our waitress was so helpful. read more

Food was incredible- even the salad / toast had a spice kick. I had the turkey burger and it was solid. Service s perfectly on mark. The bar and speciality cocktails were all amazing. The ambiance - see pix. Hard not to have a good ambiance and vibe with such views. This place is worth it! Cheers! read more

The food was delicious and the lemonade stand drink was super refreshing and yummy. Sitting outside was nice because you got to see the cool pool and the you have the city view. Make this your next stop for a fun date night! read more

Nice little bar on top floors of the hotel. It has a nice winter theme. which we appreciate in Dec even though it was in 70s (weird weather that time of year). The drinks were very well made. If we had more time we would have loved to had lunch/dinner there. We just came from lunch & wanted drinks and was not disappointed. Will return one day. read more

L27 Rooftop Lounge at the Westin Hotel Upscale dining and cocktail lounge with beautiful outdoor terrace. The city skyline viewed and sunset are a must see if visiting Music City. Service was excellent if a little slow. Cocktails were fun and delicious. I'll be honest, the Boozy popsicles & giant margarita punch bowl were a big reason why I wanted to come have a girls night out! But they did not have Boozy popsicles! The food was disappointing. They advertised a $5 burger for Burger Scene week but I was charged full price. On 4th of July we were at the JW Marriott to see the fireworks and everyone kept talking about L27's lighted swimming pool. This is such a unique feature and makes me want to do a staycation at the Westin! Wether you come for a cocktail and views or make a night of it with dinner and music, I think you will have an amazing experience. Dress to impress! Ruby Velle and the Soulphonics were absolutely amazing and such a fun band to see live! I would highly recommend seeing music at L27. read more

We were staying at The Westin Nashville and decided to have a night cap at L27 Rooftop Bar. Love the set up. Especially the pool and outdoor area! I can imagine how busy that will be when the weather is nice and warm. BTW, it is open year round, weather permitting with heat lamps set up. Love the view. Great view of Downtown Nashville area. I always prefer Rooftop vs Lobby Bar. Interior was really dark. I could barely read the menu. Cocktails was A-OK. I would not say too unique but great for a drink or two. I would drop by again when I stay in The Westin next time when I am in town. read more

Have you ever walked into a place where all of a sudden your legs (on their own accord) develop a strut or a stride as if to say just by the vibe of this place "you have arrived"? well L27 is just such a place. We came as a night cap from our PATS Fan rally on a Saturday evening and the DJ was spinning R&B hits that instantly commanded your feet to get 'ta movin! Granted that it was near 32 degrees outside but how can one NOT go and see what sort of view this Bar boasts over the hypnotic city of Nashville? absolutely breathtaking!! I asked for a French Martini and the server returned with a French 75, I decided to go with the flow and took what she brought it was her 2nd drink (1st one was my mistake) it was refreshing but the next drink was on point the actual French Martini itself. Dimly lit seating area, sets the tone for chilaxing, prices are in line with what you would expect for a rooftop bar located in a Westin hotel. Oh and BTW the company you'll keep up here is very discriminating so be sure to look your best for the people we ran into up here had an 'air' about them... if you know what I mean *wink, wink* Respectfully Reviewed read more

Excellent food and excelled atmosphere!!!! Food is pretty reasonably priced for Nashville, and it's actually really good! Sometimes trendy places do not have great food, but that was not the case here!! I would definitely come again. They were very accommodating for reservations as well. read more
Decided to stop by for a little evening jazz. Started at 830 went till later. Ha. As you might have guessed, I didn't stay. Left around 915. I sat at the bar, the bartenders were great! Very friendly and social. The musical group was decent and the lead singer was okay, but not what I was feeling. The my soda was a soda, but their paper straws were annoying. I got a Brownie Cake, and it was yummy but a little cold when I got it. I had maybe 3-4 bites and I just didn't want to finish it. The outside area looked really pretty and I would have loved to sit out there but it seemed exclusive and if it was open to hotel guests the decor didn't seem like it. Overall, the food and beverage (even though free) were over priced and just seemed like a high class snobby place. I felt really out of place. I probably won't come back again. No matter how may time I visit Nashville in the future. read more

When would be a good time to go to the pool? Is it an extra cost to swim?
Mid-afternoon would be the best time to go to the pool, depending on the day. I don't think there is an extra charge to swim, but it's more of a wading pool. While the pool itself is shallow, the view can't be beat.
