We had the: - large gnocchi with ricotta and herb pesto to share - large homemade ravioli (chef's special) to share - margherita pizza - simplicy, 4 cheese, pesto pizza - they added some free pizza bread for us to wipe up the sauces from the pasta - plus their house lemonade The food was great and the service excellent. The time between ordering and the pasta was around 10 mins. Very quick, fresh, and hot. They provided plates to share and we got down to it. The portions are good and very saucy. Save the pizza crusts to mop up any sauce! While we were there, there were lots of pickups/deliveries and other patrons coming in and out. It was a pretty popular local spot. The ambience is chic modern with dark woody themes. It's a nice a social house feel and the windows gives you a great view to people watch. Great for a group to enjoy the food, drinks, and chill out.

It's real nice when you eat food from a restaurant that's not a chaining subway. The #6 sub was excellent with lots of pepperoni and steak and everything in good quantity. It was easy to tell that this is an important neighbourhood place where people come for more than the food. Speaking to the food, my club sandwich was perfect. I had the option of dark and/or white meat and the whole thing was assembled in its classic brilliance, with the mayo on the side, of course. The french fries were of the soggier variety (think traditional Queb poutine fries) and were excessive, naturally. It seems like a lot of the people coming by were regulars and were ordering the special of the day, which I assume was equally generous and delicious. My one small gripe with the place is that although they were very COVID-compliant and clean, they're still cash-only. Like, I get it, but it's 2020: it may be time to upgrade to a debit machine, in my humble opinion.
