She did nick my cuticle and several times I had to tell her sis take it easy lol she did pay very close attention to detail and got the nail shape perfect . A serious pet peeve of mine is when the polish doesn't cover the entire nail leaving the edges or parts of the side cuticles open and she made sure the entire nail was painted. Side note: they put these phone holders up on the tables and it is so clutch! Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference in your experience You get a savings using cash so I would say it's worth it to come prepared with cash . The gel umbre manicure lasted less than a day. I had to go back the next day to fix one of the nails that completely chipped. The technician that did my nails wasn't in so they had to call her to find the color, which they got wrong bc the base doesn't match the other nails. And it was pointless because after that nail chipped, two more nails chipped. I think this business is under new management. Didn't want to start them on the wrong foot but they clearly didn't care because they were laughing the entire time when they were fixing my nail. I paid $75 for both gel n pedicure. With so many nail salons in the area and not a cheap price, they should not do bad business. They are clearly not using the right products. NEW MANAGEMENT THIS IS NOT THE WAY THE OLD OWNERS WERE. I vowed never to return to that salon, which I had been going to for years. I get regular pedicures all year long. After a quick YELP search, I came across this place. I originally just wanted a fill in. Helen took her time and afterwards the difference in my nails was noticeable. They looked more natural and actually had the square shape that I wanted. I asked if I could get a pedicure? Although they were close to closing, they accommodated me. It was the best pedicure I've had in a long time! When I arrived I was started immediately. Very carefully my pedicure was performed perfectly. My finger nails needed extensions, sns powder, with gel and a sweet design. I couldn't be happier. It's also extremely clean; All of the tools are freshly packaged, there are liners in the tubs for pedicures, and the thing that they scrub your heel with is a single use stick on! I just got a basic pedicure and added a 10 min foot massage, and then a manicure. Everything was great. My polish looks perfect and they were not too harsh around the cuticles which a lot of other places I've been to are. The timing was also perfect-they took enough time that you don't feel rushed and do a great job, but they are also fast and efficient. I think my technician may have been the owner and she was incredible. I meant to get her name but I didn't. It's hard to decide where to get your nails done when there are places on every block in LI, but I would highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be coming back here when I need a mani/pedi
